Coincidence....?

The next day I slept over at my friends house. She knew my love for bells abd made me promise not to bring any into her house. That was because she hated bells. That night bells rang. I swore I did not bring any, So we went to sleep. That morning the bells still rang. It was a little scary so I left. I next heard that My best friend was found dead after a terrorizing scream that alerted the neighbors. However, I was not her neighbor. I live more than 20 miles away. I was devastated. I did everything I could to try to save her, but she was dead. Dead. I could not get over it. I went to her funeral, but that made it worse. I hated that she was dead and wanted her back. That night I heard the bells. I was not very scared until the next morning. I was horrified. It was so close to the time my friend died. I ran out of the house but was grabbed by my neck on the way out. Luckily, my brother had taught me self defense. "Police!" I scream pointing in a random direction. Somehow it works and I take advantage. I take my arm and swing my body toward the criminal. I lock his arms in mine and knock him out quickly in under a minute. I run as fast as I can and call the police. I then take every single bell out of my home so I can take a warning. It was a long time of working but it payed off. I then went to bed and heard the bells again. I get up immediately and skitter quietly out of the house. I call the police again. They caught the criminal once again and took him away. I went back to bed and heard the bells AGAIN. I was horrified. I called the police to have my house checked. I was told there was no body else in my house so I went to my other friend's house. I went to sleep there and did not hear the bells. The next morning, I hear more bells! This time, I take both me, abd my friend out of the house. We make it out safely and return to my house for the day. I learned that bells were warning, and they turned into preventable deaths. I had prevented two. I had kept myself, and my friend from dying. The bells seemed to follow me, so I wanted to go to strangers houses so I would get them killed and not me, but that was wrong and I knew it was. I needed a place to hide. I went to someone's house and pretended I was a company trying to see if anyone had kids for me to teach. The first house I went to had children--very patient ones. I went and stayed until the bells sounded. I then left as quickly as I could and gathered food, water, snacks, and hid in the restroom. I went quietly to grab bed items and slept in the tub. I heard the bells but I stayed hidden and silent. I heard footsteps and my heart pounded. I saw then look around and leave. I was safe! I didn't expect to survive but I was thankful I did.
