Danger Beast

Kanjiro, Esdeath's and her father heading to the forest. It's pretty early in the morning but as a tribe that survives base on Danger Beast, it pretty crowds in the morning.

Halfway through the forest, Esdeath's Father turns to Kanjiro and ask him a question.

"Well, Kanjiro tell me what you know about Danger Beasts."

Hearing his question Kanjiro takes a deep breath and said" I learn quite a bit about Danger Beast, it classified into 6 different classes.

Class 4, Class 3, Class 2, Class 1, Special Class and Super Class.

With class 4 being the weakest and Super Class the strongest.

We the Partas Clan mostly hunted Class 2 Danger Beast known as Springer cause they got a valuable gem in their belly. We normally keep it alive while skinning for the gem since the gem lost its value if we take it out from the Springer corpse."

Nodding his head Esdeath's Father said: "You are right but we not only hunt Springer we also hunt First Class Danger beast if possible."

As they venture deep inside they come across a group of Springer spread across the forest feeding on class 4 beast. Esdeath's father signals his eyes toward Esdeath.

Wooshh... Esdeath rush toward the two Springers that closest to the group. Using her knife she slashes toward their join render their movement useless. Seeing the weak point of the Springer Kanjiro also pushes forward, with a light step he pushes his body straight toward the jagger. With a single slash, he cut off two legs of the springer make them fall face-first to the ground. Just like that they go around hunting Springer and take out their values gem on the spot. Kanjiro learns quite fast he starts to become more fluent when taking the gem from springer.

After hunting 10 Springer they stop hunting, Esdeath's father takes them around other beasts territory.

Along the way, they run at the sight of Special class Danger Beast and also working together to hunt First Class Danger Beast. Esdeath never had any experience hunting first-class beast so she messes up and misses her sneak attack.

Her father didn't move but glance at Kanjiro which already rush toward the Danger beast the moment Esdeath miss her streak saving her from the claw of Earth-Dragon.

Putting Down Esdeath he uses his movement technique to distract the Earth-Dragon and make it turns it back against Esdeath.

Seeing Esdeath already back on her feet Kanjiro moves toward Earth Dragon Spinning his body he pushes his dagger toward the eyes of the beast, Esdeath takes the chance and jump onto the spine of the beast rushing toward its neck. Taking the chance the beast received the injury from Kanjiro she uses her dual dagger and strike at the neck of the beast countless time until the beast lost it vitality through bleeding.

Although she ruins the neck of the Earth dragon what they need to harvest is the core and its shell that can be used to create Shingu.

After Harvesting the Earth Dragon carcass they stay overnight camping in the forest and return back to the clan in the morning.

Esdeath's Father teaches Kanjiro lots about how to hide their present from Danger Beast. Kanjiro easily uses his method which impresses him while Esdeath takes 3 days to learn how to conceal their presence from First class and Super Class Danger Beast. Well, Kanjiro can easily use Esdeath's father method cause of his passive from assassin class Presence Concealment (Rank A), unlike Esdeath whose learn from scratch and able to master it in 3 days.

1 week passed, Esdeath's father stop tag along with Esdeath and Kanjiro, he let the two teams up and hunt by themselves since their teamwork was better than he expected.

The two become the ultimate tag team of the clan their hunting earns the most income for the clan they also start hunting more Class 1 danger beast.

2 years passed, Esdeath grow taller while Kanjiro height reaches 1.50 a height taller then he should be his age. But the two individual ability is already stronger among the Adult in the clan.

Kanjiro also equip himself with Iron Spear and military knife make their hunting more efficient, Esdeath's wise still likes to use the dagger she becomes more and more efficient in slaughtering the beast. She can take out the gems of Springer in one movement.

Kanjiro also ventures out alone sometimes cause he had an idea of escape the Partas clan, according to the storyline the other tribe should slaughter them soon. His adoptive father already recruits into the military to forge their weapon so he doesn't have anything need to care about the clan, Esdeath his partner will eventually escape while hunting so he plans on fake his death somewhere in the future to escape alone.

He already hunts and stores a lot of valuable material of the Danger Beast which he can use to earn quite a sum of money when putting his escape plan into work.

While preparing for his plan a year had passed Kanjiro already 10years old his height-wise is like already reach 1.60 meters. Esdeath also grows to 1.20 but she still short compare to Kanjiro.

Kanjiro spar with Esdeath occasionally, the condition is that he going barehand against her.

But he still holds his ground since he a master of close combat but the speed of Esdeath improvement is tremendous he had to acknowledge that she a natural-born hunter with her beast-like instinct she can even hold her ground while sparing with her father.

Today is the day that kanjiro need to put his plan into work, from his estimation, today is the day that the other Hunter clan passed by. In his heart, he also doesn't want to do this but at the same time if he warns the clan or interferes he might change the whole storyline.
