There were not many people in the theater; it was barely a third full, and the middle rows were almost empty. Most opted for inconspicuous seats at the sides or the back row.

Chen Yuheng knew, even without looking, that the people sitting in the corners were surely lovers.

Her heart burst into warmth and sweetness as she looked at her half-hidden hand under his wide sports jacket. The fear she had felt earlier dissipated considerably.

At the end of the long opening scene, the figures of two people entangling together appeared on the screen and the sound turned amorous.

She was completely gobsmacked by the scene…

After a moment of shock, the young and ignorant robot quickly dropped her head, not daring to look at the screen anymore!

Where's the thrilling suspense as promised?!

She had really wronged the operator in this case. It was inevitable for horror films to have some passionate scenes these days, though they were nothing too overwhelming. It was just that the robot was too innocent. Hence, she naturally got quite a bad shock when the scene of a man and a woman hugging and locking lips suddenly appeared, making the thriller movie truly worthy of its name.

It was fortunate that that 'thrilling' scene was soon over, and the real thrilling part began to unfold.

There were not many cool special effects since it was just a low-budget film, so the show concentrated on a dilapidated apartment building. Nonetheless, it was enough to captivate the utmost attention of the robot, since it was her first time watching a horror film.

It was a simple plot. The passionate couple in the opening scene were the male lead and his landlady. The man, who was initially despondent after losing his job, moved into a relatively cheap rental apartment where he met and slept with the charming landlady. He later found the determination to work hard and had plans to propose to her after he had earnt enough money, but that was when he started to discover a string of strange happenings in the apartment. The tenants from the other apartments had successively died of a strange death, and from the police investigation, all clues pointed to him. It was then he noticed the unusual behavior of the landlady…

The film spooked her, but that sense of urgency prompted her to continue seriously watching the show despite the occasional R-rated scenes.

The screen was now playing a scene where the male lead, upon realizing that the landlady was not beside him when he woke up in the middle of the night, was searching for her when he suddenly turned around and saw her ghostly pale face.

It scared Gu Anbao so much she nearly screamed!

That hand which lay obediently in Chen Yuheng's hand shook violently as well.

The latter pushed his jacket down as he peeled his eyes half open to peer at the screen. "Is the show not over yet…? What a drag."

He then took a look at the robot who had unconsciously snuggled up against him.

He could tell that this lass was really frightened, and so, he reached out to pull her into his arms and lowered his head to put it on hers before closing his eyes again.

This hug instantly got her feeling hot… and bothered.

This pose is too intimate…

And when she shifted slightly, the man who had treated her like a pillow said with closed eyes. "Don't move."

She dared not move again after that.

What happened in the latter part of the plot… was unknown to her as she could not focus on watching the show…

Even up until the end, she only had a vague impression that it was an obsolete storyline. It was said that the male lead was actually mentally deranged. The murders were done by him and it had nothing to do with the landlady at all. She never even liked him. Everything was just a figment of his imagination…

As for the discovery process of the truth, she had no memories of that at all…

The theater lit up at the end of the film.

Chen Yuheng lazily opened his eyes, and it seemed that he had got quite a well-rested nap. Scanning his surroundings, he discovered that there were still many couples around as they engaged in their inextricable passionate kisses. He chuckled at the sight and turned to look at the robot with an ambiguous smile.

How could she possibly see them? She was all red in the face and the places where he had touched her were all numb.

The man pinched her flushed cheeks. "Do you want to come here again?"

"N-No." She quickly shook her head. Some movie scenes were truly embarrassing.

He swept a glance at those horny couples and smiled faintly. "Just as well. It's too erotic."

That got her blushing furiously! Wasn't he sleeping just now?!
