Weiai wished that meeting Shen Shaobai was just a nightmare.

When she woke up from the nightmare, everything would revert back to usual.

Shen Shaobai kept his promise. After resting for one week, when Weiai was fully recovered and pestered Ning Yuan to send her home, he finally allowed her to go home.

Weiai was in deep thoughts when Ning Yuan walked over and spoke in a gentle voice.

She nodded and followed beside him.

Suddenly, she thought about what Shen Shaobai said. Even if she could go home, she was still under his control. She barely saw him in the past few days, but she heard from the maids that he was busy picking a fianceé.

As she sat on the yacht and listened to the waves, her heart was at peace.

Ning Yuan turned around and looked at the dazed Weiai. The sea breeze blew at her dark locks and the sun shone on half of her face. He could not help but be reminded of Tong Hua as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Why, are you unhappy?"

This question left Ning Yuan stunned.

As he regained his senses, he did not know whether to laugh or cry. "Little girl, I'm not a player."

Weiai smiled and interrupted his explanation.

After that, she looked at him seriously until Ning Yuan's expression turned from confusion to awkwardness. That was when Weiai continued. "I know, you are not a player. On the contrary, you are very loyal and gave undivided love to Tong Hua."

At that moment, Ning Yuan's smile froze on his face.
