disappointment

[MC POV]

it's been two days since the mission was temporarily stopped, and all the ninja that was on the search and destroy mission was given a free time until further notice, while those who was given the mission to guard the village was still performing their mission as usual, and because of this I leave alone toward konoha for my cousins six birthday.

tenma arrived at konoha one day before the birthday, and when he arrived at minato house he saw that the sannin, tsunade and jiraiya was training two child, a boy and a girl, the boy have a typical red hair of uzumaki while the girl was blonde just like minato, while at the side he saw that minato and kushina would something offering some pointer toward the two child.

seeing how they act and their hair color tenma know that the two child was his cousins, just as he prepared to greet them he saw another boy with a blonde hair like minato looking toward the six people with a gaze full of longing.

tenma looked toward the boy and was somehow interested as to why he looked at the six people with such gaze, thus he neared the boy without him noticing and tapped his shoulder, startling the boy.

the boy looked toward tenma with a somewhat frightened gaze, as if he was guilty of something. seeing the boy gaze tenma feel something was wrong, what's more when he take a deep look toward the boy face he somehow resembled his aunt kushina.

"kid, what your's name?"

"tha... that...my name... is uh... nami- no naruto, yeah just naruto, my name is naruto"

tenma looked toward naruto who answered his question full of hesitation as if he was doubting himself, and after hearing naruto answer tenma know that he was also cousin. truthfully because of his mission he don't even know how many cousins did he have or their gender, he only know that he have more than one cousins.

"so your name is naruto huh, well let me introduce myself my name is uzumaki tenma and I'm your cousin from your mother side"

hearing tenma naruto was shocked and somehow his face started to become pale, and starting to look toward his parent direction with a look that showed he was afraid. seeing how naruto behaved tenma can't help but frown as he thought 'just what is wrong with my cousin, why he have such a look, is he afraid that I would tell aunt kushina that he watched them?, but why would he be afraid? there must be something wrong here'

"naruto don't worry nothing will happen to you"

he don't know what wrong but he just try to calm naruto down, and after hearing tenma naruto somewhat calmed down but his face was still pale. seeing this tenma can't help but to sigh and feel some pity for him.

looking at naruto he hugged him and carried him toward where the six is. being suddenly hugged and carried by tenma naruto can't help but be dumbfounded and feel at ease, but when he realize that tenma was moving toward where his family is, his body started to shake uncontrollably.

feeling that naruto body started shaking, he assured him by tapping his back which calmed naruto down. while carrying naruto he moved toward the six people, as he neared the six, the six also noticed him.

kushina seeing him showed an angry expression, while minato only let out a sorry look toward him, and the other four was confused on who he is. kushina rushed toward tenma with an angry expression but when she noticed the blonde haired boy in tenma embrace she can't help but to stop.

"tenma where did you meet naruto?"

"what's wrong aunt?"

"nothing, it just that this child want to train along with his siblings but he was different from his sibling so we decided that he can train after entering the academy instead, yet he was so stubborn that he would often disturb his sibling training"

hearing kushina, tenma can't help but frown especially when he feel naruto body started to shake.

"but aunt, he already six and I become a genin at 5, so why you can't train him along his sibling?"

"it was because you were a genius, and his sibling have kyubi sealed inside them so-"

hearing kushina excuse tenma can't help but to feel disappointed toward kushina, so he decided to cut her out before she can finish her talk.

"but is that even a reason for you to not train him?, from what I saw those two already have a teacher that teach them, then why can't you or uncle minato spare some of your time to train him too?"

hearing tenma kushina become silent, when suddenly from behind her jiraiya came and answered tenma question.

"I don't know who are you, but it was all done because of the toad sage prophecy where the child of minato and kushina will either become a hero that bring peace or a demon that will bring chaos"

after tenam heard jiraiya answer he can't help but feel disappointed and disgusted with them, that he somehow laughed.

"hahahaha just because of some prophecy from a toad you neglect him? and how would you know that those two will become the hero, is it because those two have a kyubi sealed inside them, hah!, let me remind you idiot you yourself said the the hero would be my cousin because they are minato and kushina child, but did the prophecy ever tell you that they have a kyubi inside them hah!, fucking no, so naruto also have the chance to become that hero too"

hearing tenma cursing, jiraiya feel angry because a youth dare to curse him.

"what do you know about the prophecy, what's more naruto don't have a talent, so how can he be the hero in the prophecy"

hearing jiraiya tenma feel disgusted with him, but when he saw that neither kushina nor minato refute jiraiya he started to feel disgust toward the two too. suddenly he feel a little sob from his embrace and saw that naruto was crying while looking toward jiraiya and the other five with a pained look, as he asked.

"am I worthless in your eyes? sob sob"

hearing naruto question tenma can't help but feel pain in his heart, because he feel pity for his cousin, thus he comfort him to stop him crying, as he looked toward jiraiya, along with kushina and minato.

"what a disgusting man you are, and you two are not fit to be a parent, if you don't want him you can just tell me, me and my parent will take care of him"

after hearing naruto cry and tenma word kushina fell a pang in her heart as she looked toward naruto and tenma, and started to make some excuse for herself.

"but but we will make it up for him in the future"

hearing kushina excuse tenma can't help but feel how disgusting they are all. especially when the four adult nodded as if it was a matter of fact, and naruto should be fine with that kind of repayment.

"tch... now you guys become even more disgusting in my eyes, you know what he was a child, and what a child need is it parent and here you are neglecting him and even ridiculed him.

and what the fuck do you mean make it up to him in the future, hah!, you know what it was bullshit, I can assure you that he wouldn't even see you as his parent anymore and how can you make it up for him, huh?, by giving him love that he supposed to receive?.

you know it's matter not, I will take him with me and turn him into someone that make you regret what you have done now.

"re you willing to go with me?, I will turn you into someone that was far greater than they though you will be"

"yes, big brother tenma I will become strong just like what you believe me"

getting naruto confirmation, tenma leave konoha and went back to uzushiogakure.

in uzushiogakure tenma trained naruto and teach him everything he know, and to his surprise he found that naruto talent above average and coupled with how much work hard he put he become a genin three years later, and after another three years he became a chunin and after signing the shinigami contract he officially become uzushiogakure ninja.
