Shadow then calls for Blast. He then brings Clwyd near his cave and waits there for Blast.
After 2 hours, Blast came, and when Shadow scanned him, he nodded. Blast had levelled up and had increased in grade.
The new skill that Blast learned was [Primordial Kong Punch], and the new ability he obtained was [Savage Mode].
"Blast meet the new member of the family, Clwyd."
When Shadow introduced Clwyd to Blast, it kept scratching its head, not knowing what to do, but it still kept gesturing to Blast.
Looking at Clwyd jumping around Blast look at Shadow and asks "Boss what's wrong with him?"
Shadow helplessly shook his head. "Clwyd is what you call a wild beast. He has very powerful strength but does not have high intelligence."
Blast nodded. "So what did you call me for, boss?"
"I want you to train him. He might not be smart, but he does have potential, so train him well."
Shadow then told Clwyd to follow Blast to train. Clwyd then followed Blast to train in another place.
Shadow then continues his solitary training.
A month passed. Shadow was leaving his cave and decided to go deeper into the Demon Beast Forest.
He was travelling towards the inner part of the forest, where nearly all the demon beasts roaming the area are middle-stage; there are also some high-stage demon beasts.
When he finally entered the inner part, a fast thing came swooping down on him.
With the countless battles that Shadow has undergone in the Demon Beast Forest, he instinctively dodged to the side.
When he finally saw the full appearance of the beast, he got serious: a huge hawk with the size of a bus. Level 8 (good) Demonic Tornado Hawk
This is the first time he will be fighting a high-stage demon beast.
He immediately used [Origin Mode] and [Dragon Form] simultaneously and slashed the Demonic Tornado Hawk.
The hawk looks at Shadow with disdain, flaps its wings, creating a huge wind blade, and throws it at Shadow.
Shadow [Flaming Origin Slash] met with the huge wind blade and was blown away; he was no match.
When the wind blade finally dissipated, Shadow was spitting blood.
He never thought a single attack would injure him.
The hawk was still not finished with Shadow, yet it swooped down on him.
Shadow looked at the hawk, gritted his teeth, and also attacked.
*Bam* Their attack met and caused a collision. Shadow was pushed off by the attack.
*Barf* Shadow started spitting blood again. He looked at the hawk and continued to attack even though he could not win. He had a backup plan.
Shadow and the Hawk fought for nearly an hour, and all of it was Shadow being beaten down to the ground.
When the hawk attacked again, a thunder attack hit the bird, blowing it far away. Some of its feathers were pulverised.
The hawk screeched out in pain and anger. It looked at where the attack came from and saw a golden dragon.
Thunder came when he heard Shadow's call when he was fighting the hawk earlier.
The hawk then focused its attack on Thunder, but it never thought the gravely injured Shadow would still attack it.
The [flaming origin slash] hits the left wing of the bird, burning some of the feathers.
The hawk understood that it could not fight Thunder and Shadow alone, so it tried to flee. It did not fly in the sky but flew towards the tree, using them as shields for Thunder's attack and Shadow's [Flaming Origin Slash], but when it passed a certain tree, a monster pounced on it and grabbed its neck.
The hawk tried to struggle, but it was futile; the monster grip was just too strong.
"Clwyd, bring it. We are going to eat Hawk barbeque today." Shadow then sliced the hawk's neck clean.
Blast then came, bringing different varieties of vegetables. They then had a hawk barbeque. The reason why Shadow insisted on fighting the hawk was because he called all his contracted beasts to help him.
After eating, they then form a new plan. Thunder will be training in a body of water; it wants to regain the lost water attribute if it can. Blast and Clwyd, as usual, will be training together. Blast will be teaching Clwyd martial arts, while Clwyd will teach it how to be better at using its explosive strength, and Shadow will continue his solitary training.
Shadow then became low-profile in the inner part of Demon Beast Forest. The encounter with the hawk was still fresh in his mind.
When he was hunting for food, he saw a huge boar the size of a bulldozer fighting with an equally-sized rhino.
He scans the two demon beasts, and to his surprise, it was a fight between the middle-stage and high-stage demon beasts.
Level 8 (normal) Steel Tusked Savage Boar versus a Level 6 (excellent) Crystal Rhino
Every time the two collide, a booming sound will occur, but looking at the battle, the Crystal Rhino was losing. Shadow sighed once a demon beast entered the high stage; they became three times as powerful as their middle stage counterparts.
*Boom* They collided one last time when the boar's tusks destroyed the rhino's armour and stabbed the rhino very deeply.
The rhino kept roaring, but it sounded like it was crying for help.
The boar started ramming the rhino against the trees, and after a couple of minutes, the rhino died.
The boar then throws the rhino into the ground and is about to eat when Shadow suddenly blinks into the boar's head.
He was smiling at the boar. The boar blanked out, not knowing what to do. He then confusedly looked at Shadow and pointed at the rhino's carcass.
Shadow was taken aback. He thought that the boar would lash on him, but it actually invited him to it with it.
