with the death of the disciples of Kiser and his disappearance the sun lands were thrown into chaos not only were they representatives of the kingdom but Kiser himself was a well respected member of the lower echelons of society as well as a deterrent for many nobles to stray to far but with him gone many lords and power houses would try and lay claim to the lands he governed as he'd rebuilt the infrastructure from ground up making his territory a prosperous business hub and managed to grow fields of rare herbs the only thing in their way now was his last disciple but it was already known the king didn't have a great relationship with him meaning they would use the king to repress any stand she took against them bring his legacy to an end.

Days passed then weeks and no one was able to figure out what happened to Kiser with his silent disappearance many of lords and powers that were being appressed by him started to rear their heads even the investigation into the fields were left to the so called common folk as powerful practitioners don't interfere in the lives of mortals as the say but in reality they chose to ignore responsibility for the very foundation of life that allowed them to live and become who they are today leaving the insects to break that foundation and the wolves and the tigers to remove the pillars.

With the spiders and insects doing most of the work in the agriculture parts of the kingdoms the wolves and cats took a more offensive approach.

Along the outskirts of the forest now full of beast working together many predators no longer sought out pray in the forest but outside and no longer were they barred from releasing their full might as a pack was made allowing them to rest and heal under protection.

In the command hall of a Stronghold of the Almarian empire south east of the Kings forest repots were coming in of settlements being overrun and even a walled city being overtaken buy a monster horde normally it wouldn't be uncommon for one to happen every few years but a walled city hadn't been overrun in over ten thousand years.

"Sir we've just received knows that of the clans and sects located in Crown city that all that participated in the battle were lost and that a majority of the main forces fled the city before the final push but.."

"but what those cowards lost the city to mere beast what could possibly make up for abandoning the city despite several Demi gods ruling in the area" general Khan was highest ranking military officer in the area located near kings forest and one known for his brutal tactics in war along with his huge frame and giant axe was formally known as the Barbarian.

the sentry was even a human at the creation level but could only cower slightly at the generals rebuttal of his report none the less he continued be it more timidly as the report would only make the general more upset. "we've got reports from all three demi gods that monster leading the horde was a peak ascendant wolf type beast"

The general could understand how a beast of that level could spark interest of the three gods and wanting to claim it for themselves was no doubt a factor but why they had to abandon the walled city because of it still left him baffled as wolf beast generally weren't as strong as other apex beast that reach such levels and could generally be matched by a human of the same stage sometimes even lower, "What does the beast have to do with abandoning the city?" although he was a master of schemes he could feel that the wolf was special if it was mentioned by itself as a horde normally has more then one leader.

"ah yes sir from all three they each confirmed that the horde itself was only led by this one beast"

"WHAT!!" clearly rattled a little the general couldn't believe that single peak ascendant beast could control a horde that could take a walled city and scare three demi gods it must be a mutated beast but without waiting for an order the sentry continued

"they all reported that there were other ascendant beast but it was the sole leader and was able to pass orders along the other beasts and that they did not act like wild animals but soldiers each beast played to their strengths and weakness and some even fighting as units", with each word the sentry could fill the room grow more quit and he felt all eyes focus on him," it was also confirmed that despite higher stage fighters taking to the field that many of the beasts despite taking head on attacks showed little sign of injury at times and when the beast attacked the gate the ascendant stage defenders were only able to kill few if any beasts before they were swarmed leading the three to believe that the leader was"

"A Divine Healer" before he could say it the general cut him off, "It looks like those idiots have brains after all, were they able to tell what type of wolf and the number of its kin?"

"no, they couldn't make out an distinct characters only its pure white fur and giant frame as for others wolves they were only able to make out a few dozen spread throughout the horde"

"hmm did they remark if any of them joined the battle at all?"

"no sir, no detail was mentioned"

ignoring the sentry Khan turned toward his commanders "inform the scouts to monitor the wolves in the horde the wolves are no doubt in charge of relaying orders through the horde have them determine each ones role if possible and have them inform the three that I will personally be heading over with a special force to aid them in retreating if necessary as for the kingdom let word pass to deny travel from the area and have the nearby borders increase vigilance we can't let others know of a rogue Divine healer exist most likely the beast already gained sentience long ago and is approaching his human tribulation the beast countries and arrogant pricks wont let the chance slip if they hear of it we have to deal with this fast"

Within the now ruined Crown city a Giant wolf lay down in the center of the once central hub of power hungry mongrels' that set of to challenge kings forest in hopes of riches and glory by killing the beast now all that remained was ruble and cowering humans bound in chains.

The beast were no fools and understood the value of weapons and tools used by humans and that they were out numbered one to fifty but they also understood that each of them would kill each other to obtain treasures the Wolf leading them was a prime example but the reason the humans were bond in chain was for same fate high level beast were sought after to awaken others although none of the thousands or so humans were awakened them selves but that was soon to change.

Feeling dread for the first time in there lives the citizens of crown city almost thought they were in a nigh mare and desperately wished to wake, when the gate fell many assumed the beast would target the slower individuals and ran to the opposite without care only for the vast majority of beast to quickly stamped to the furthest gate themselves ignoring the fleeing citizens the those in charge quickly caught on and attempted to halt the beast advance even two of the demi gods joined hands but being only two people and a small group it was easy for the beast to bypass them making their efforts useless and endangering themselves, demi gods may be strong but even a child knows better then to stand in a mound of ants the case being if they allowed themselves to be completely engulfed in the horde.

With the city now secure a voice spread over the horde "The area is secured prepare the ingredients"

hearing the command the giant wolf opened its eyes and moved toward the crowd and several other beast consisting of a brown bear and Boar came forward to a large cauldron placed at the front of the humans and to their surprise a giant blade began to float beside the wolf and before they could understand what was happening the blade slid across the wrist of the wolf the he now held above the cauldron similarly each beast performed the same act, when the cauldron became full each of the beast step back each showing signs of weakness as the blood they shed contained their life force even with an intact body of all three humans would at most obtian only a few cups as the beast would damage it's life force and either never regain its former strength or die soon after the differance now was a divine healer was behind them and with the last drop a glow emmitted from the three beast each showing signs of vigure wants more.

"Know this humans that you will achieve what your kind so desperatly chases, you will shed your mortal flesh and know what it is to be used to awaken our young as you did yours"

With great fear now showing in their eyes they now understood why the were kept alive, great clans and families had hunted many great beast for this very reason by obtianing the body they could use it's blood to awaken their family members but the same was true for beast if they could eat the body of a practitioner then a normal beast could also awaken but that was mostly only true for those above the the awaking stage and better chance of succuess was of those who were awakened with beast of strenght similer to the very ones that gave thier blood.

With a quit steps a lone brown and white wolf barely bigger then a normal wolf walked forth to look over the humans clearly the voice they heard came from it, "You all look at me as a monster but rest assured that i do nothing different then what your kind do to us but know that i do not take pleasure in empty deaths nor do i look down on you but your greed has forced the hands of us so called lesser beings to join hands and show you what happens when you believe yourself above the cycle of life and death"

bound in chians the first group were pulled toward the cauldron and each wore forced to kneel and just like the sword that followed the white wolf small globs of blood flew into the mouths of the first batch each withered in pain from the overbearing power inturding into their bodies normally one would need to train thier body even then many would still need special herbs or medicane to help absorbed even a portion into the body to awaken or die but today no man, woman, old or young would die this way for when the first child looked like she could no longer take it a small glow engulfed her releasing her slightly from the pain and with each passing breath she started to feel stronger then she has ever felt all of them began to start expeiance the same thing and with the passing moments each began to regan themselves although some managing to completely by pass the awakening stage but some still only made it to the peak.

"take them away," with the first batch fully awaking the brown wolf gave the order to remove them as killing them were they stand would couse to much ruckes and many would believe that there was still a chance to be saved as long as they were alive. "next" it was obviouse to the captured humans now that it wasn't the huge wolf that was in charge but the small wolf watching over them and above all the true value of a healer of its level but they could never know that a healer that could heal across species and genders equaling was something only done by gods it's value could make it a contender for the world treasure.
