With the ritual coming to an end the occuping beasts began to fall back leaving only the older generation to stand gaurd not that any humans could recognize it and with their retreat the city was set a blaze the the walls crumbled leaving the white wolf exposed with only a few ascendants around gaurding it at least to the scouts observing it they couldn't even comprehend that they were being baited.

"sir we have movement" inside a tent only a few miles away from the city the original demi gods of the city and General khan were seated with their own guards watching a blue orb seated in the center table "report what's happening" Khan couldn't help be feel nervous as the longer the beast was alive or free it would only bring trouble.

"The horde is retreating the Wolf still stands in the city center around several other ascendants it appears to be waiting for a majority to evacuate" the blue orb flashed with light as the words were spoken.

"The horde has thinned now's our chance" Raising from his seat khan knew now was the moment to attack but the couldn't let it get back to the forest. "Kings bane you and your men are with me as planned you two remember not to push to hard in the initial charge" with a nod the remaining two demi gods left the tent for their men as the would charge the remaining horde in a frontal charge in order to distract them as for the general and kings bane's men would cut the wolfs retreat.

Standing in the center of the once great Crowned city the white wolf waited for the enemy he knew they wouldn't let the chance past to either subdue him or kill him, they couldn't possible know that he wasn't the healer after all animals generally tend to increase their size near human lands as they find it hard to win with their normal talents as high level beings tend to hunt them but for those further away most tend not attract to much attention to themselves the case of the white wolf was a little special as he was an abandon runt who was raised by the old wolf who's pack had faced the hunt of humans and managed to escape never the less the runt always thought it was the best always charging head first unaware of the powers of the old wolf only when he managed to gain sentience did he truly understand his flaws.

"tell me young wolf why did we need those humans to awaken their blood why not simply do so directly in the forest" around the white wolf stood many other ascendant beasts most to old and tired to continue fighting they toke on the mantle of sacrifice in order to achieve the goals of the forest the old brown bear next to him was stronger them him but still choice to march to its death looking at him the wolf complied as such chats were rare between most.

"we as new born struggle to survive from the day we are born or kind have always lived in nature adapting to the world around us and as we begin ascending our powers takes on traits of our very nature meanng some of my traits such as my hearing or sense of smell may be transfered to other creaturs for those who adapted diferently this my be a curse not a gift no matter how long they live it would only empede them the same could be said for you as your powerful strike is only possible with the heavy body and structure a agile creature may gain strenth but its natural tendancy could be lost its muscles may attempt to be much closer to yours or vise versa if you kind were to take the blood of a switf creature."

"Ah i see but why then did we not stick to our own kind could we have done so" confused the bear could only ask more quastion but for most new knowledge and adapting were part of life and he quit enjoyed new knowledge.

"now that is a smart question most would say the same thing and the reason is the same as the last but on a much more individual scale, just like humans we to have different personalies and traits we enjoy using over others if a pack was to take the blood of a frost wolf ascendent then they would be unable to practice or learn other magic such as shadow or earth even if they could it would be a hundread times harder meaning that a wolf that could have become a demi god of another element would be stuck as a minor frost wolf but humans dont have eximplary traits as thier best weapon would be their mind leaving thier body a naurtal power until the mid stages of ascendent."

"I see i quess i've wasted my life lazing around the land never truly nowing the world, but it seems i at least know one thing that never changes" the old bear looked at the white wolf unable to smile but the sarcasm couldn't be lost.

"and what is that?"

"never charge a bear" with sudden jolt the curious bear had suddenly ended up outside the old wall city limits toward the aproaching humans who were suprised at the sudden attack as bears weren't known to have such quick movements the irony being humans were never considered the fastest or strongest creatures alive.

Seeing the oncoming bear the fastes of the ascendents rush toward the bear to intercept it as they believed it to be an overly eager cub and unlike normal travel normal steads couldn't match the speeds of ascendants.

The two approaching warriors were wearing light armor each represnting the two demi gods behind them one in a dark read the other simple brown, closing the distant the brown armored warrior began to chanel his power into the war hammer making it glow a yellow ting even he's boots began to glow as for the red warrior her whole body began to give off a red glow as did her dual blades even her body began to slighly grow and with thier preparations done the red warrior vanished with a quick step as a small explosion appeared were she once stood.

The bear noticing the change in both didn't appear to be faised as it continued its approach but the next moment the red figure vanished in an explosion and with a swift motion two blades appeared in front of the bear with a quick motion the bear avoided having it's eyes slashed but in return to they traveld acrose its front and back leg causing it to unbalance itself and with its massive wieght and power behind it become impossible for it to avoid the warriors hammer that came down on its head and with a loud thud a shock wave erupted from the smash.

Looking at the foolish act of the bear that charged the group led by both gods they slowed down to watch the encounter and coudn't help but redicule it and some even wondered if the actions of the horde were due to other reason as the bear had simply walked into death door on its own not only that but an acendent bear could fetch a high price its a shame though that General khan didn't take the lead other wise the lives of two ascendants wounldn't have had to end so soon.

The act of taking down the bear had happened with quick presicion and accurasy the to warriors didnt even have time to view the bears powers but that didn't mean much to them as a quick kill was always better feeling impowered the brown clad warrior attempted to store the body into his space ring in a quick motion as to keep the blood fresh only for it to show no reaction unable to understand why, even in his stupor he quickly realized something had appeared in front of woman clad in red in is paraphori.

the women who looked back to view the bears corps had also felt it strange the the man had not taken the body into his ring yet and has she pondered she noticed his eyes quickly dart toward her, no not her behind her with a quick reacion she attempted to see what he saw only for a gaint paw of the bear she say killed come down on here without mercy, unable to dodge the paw slammed her head first into the ground and without a stopping motion the bear continued to push forward as if her head was a stepping stone and with its claws pushed foward bypassing her helmet and skull shredding it to a pulp.

see the bear come out of no where the man couldn't make out how it managed to sneek up on them and seeing how easy it toke care of his companign he felt dread nowing he couldn't take it head but he knew he wouldn't be able to move fast enough avoid it and had no choice but to try raising his hammer once more he swung it an horizontal arc as to force it to avoid direct hit, to his relief the bear did but with enough control it halted its charge and lefted itself on it's hid legs to smash down on him hold out his hammer to stop it.

With the forward smash the old bear smashed its paws agains the warrior who showed pride in it's ability to at least stop it's strike, making it funny to the bear becouse people tend to forget that such techiques were made for man not animals.

looking down at the man in armor the man look prideful but he failed to realize the bear was only able to use one paw as man was to small, if he wanted the bear could simply swipe with his free paw breaking the mans cheast but seeing his prideful smirk didn't set will with him so with a small step forward pressing the hammer agianst the mans chest and down pinning him were he stood and with a swift motion engulfed the mans head in his mighty jaws and ripped it off.

Unable to react to the sudden change in the battle the gods and others couldn't react fast enough to support thier comrades seeing as the bear had dealt with them swifly the overal moral dropped concederable and they couldn't think of a reason why a bear had an illusion ability as they weren't known to ever posses them, not knowing what was to come they opted to fight as two units from that moment on never going one vs one unless the enemies ability were clear.
