Chapter 5 :: [Little Deer, Green Wasabi]

After school Qi Lan return back home alone since Huang Junjun had some meetings for the club with the teachers so he had to stay back at school and which Qi Lan sighed in relief, because she need time to control herself and not embarrassed herself anymore.

Reaching home, her mother was busy in the kitchen and her father was still at work so do her brother too. Lazily she changed into something comfortable and put the dirty clothes for laundry, she wanted to make Li Nana wash her clothes at the school but she also made Li Nana's cloth dirty so maybe even even.

After hanging up the clothes to dry she came at the kitchen then found the cup of black bean noodles prepared by her mother on the table "Thank you mama!" she happily started to eat the noodles while watching her mother cutting the fruits and putting them in a bowl

"Mama why are you cutting the fruits?"

"First finish up your noodles" Qi Lan shrug and continue eating the noodles happily with some rice until she finishes the whole cup and threw it in the dustbin , then her mother turned to Qi Lan and gave her the big bowl of fruits with different types of fruits from kiwi to dragon fruit and grapes plush many more!

"I love youー"

"Not for you, go and give to your Aunty NingLu, she came this afternoon and gave us some fresh vegetables!"

Her face instantly fell, now she knew why her mother prepared the black bean noodles for her because her mother never prepare noodles for her whenever she return back from. school unless it is during her exams or whenever she wants her to send somewhere

"Okay so I am practically going to Aunty NingLu and give her this plus embarrassed myself? What aーoh okay, okay take a chill pill your useless daughter is going"

Seeing her mother's glare and a stern face she quickly put her flip flop and went out of the house , then outside the Huang's family gate she rang the gate bell twice then Guan NingLu came out and as she saw Qi Lan she smiled instantly

"Xiao Lan come in" It was Qi Lan's first time entering the Huang's house after they moved in and also talking to Guan NingLu too, she bow in respect and smiled a bit

"Madam Guan, my mother sent this fruits for you and sorry Madam Guan for my behavior last time" She bowed deeply but she heard a small giggles

"Look up kid, it's okay you were cute" Guan NingLe accepted the bowl of fruits and smiled at Qi Lan

"Xiao Lan, just call me Aunty NingLu or just aunty of your choice no need to be formal to me and I hope you can watch over Little Deer for me"

"Sure AunーLittle Deer?" Guan NingLu chuckled and pat Qi Lan's head , "It's Xiao Jun's nickname that we used to call him when he was a kid because he was obsessed with deers but he doesn't like being called with the nickname by now"

Qi Lan nod her head with a small smile "Then Aunty I will leave now, I hope you enjoy the fruits"

"Thank you Xiao Lan and say thanks to your mother too!"

"Yes Aunty"

As soon as Qi Lan reaches her room she didn't want to study at all and her coaching center was also closed for the day for some problems, so she sat at the chair and took out her drawing book and started to draw a man whom she usually saw in her dream.

She always see this man in her dream but never seen his face at all, but he was tall and would always help her in trouble and care for her but whenever she tries to see his face he always dissappeared and she would always wake up . She was desperate to see the dream boy but she waited for the right time thinking that God has probably set up a time for her to meet her dream boy.

The next day it was Saturday but Qi Lan had to go to school for extra class since they were in the senior year and only seniors would go to school at Saturday and finish the extra class at 12PM

Qi Lan wore a black Boyfriend jeans with an oversize yellow hoodie and hair tied in a messy bun , she put her converse and left the house and there was Huang Junjun waiting for her

"Let's go?" He nod and the two started to walk together, Huang Junjun looked more cool and mature without the school dress even though he was dressed in simple grey t-shirt, a versity jacket with a black pants and black converse.

He look like the typical bad boy of the school and Qi Lan quietly admire him and looking at every single detail of his features.

'Now I understand why the girls are so over him, he is the perfect definition of perfect, handsome, cool, hot an sexy'

"Stop staring at me, I am not handsome" Qi Lan choke on her saliva and cough hard but Huang Junjun offered her his water bottle and Qi Lan quickly took it and gulp the water down.

After her coughing died down she breathed in and out for once and looked at Huang Junjun with a scornful face "Huang Junjun don't dare to call yourself not handsome and if you weren't handsome or talented would the girld be head over heels for you? And I am warning you don't dare to call yourself not handsome otherwise I will tell the whole school your nickname was Little Deer"

By now it was turn for Huang Junjun to choke on the air looking at Qi Lan who was smirking like an evil from a movie and offered the water to him, after coughing hard like Qi Lan he glanced at Qi Lan , "Well keep it a secret otherwise I will also tell the school that your childhood nickname was Green Wasabi"

Qi Lan smirk fell down and a pout crept on her face then she started to walk sloppily like a kid still pouting "So I just blackmail you but you had to blackmail me again, not fair!" she started to whine and pout all the way which made Huang Junjun smile.

Qi Lan looked at Huang Junjun who was smiling and her pout became more "Little Deer, you are smiling seeing me like this?! How nice of you!" she said sarcastically with sarcasm on her voice.

"Green Wasabi, you look cute that's all" He shake his head and walk past her walking away with a bit faster pace leaving Qi Lan behind

"Eh! Huang Junjun that's not fair! Wait for me you tall giant! tall giant wait for me! Huang Junjun stop running away!"

When the duo entered the gate all eyes fell on them while they didn't care as Qi Lan was busy chasing Huang Junjun running like a duck and Huang Junjun wasn't running at all but walking a bit faster yet Qi Lan couldn't reached him at all.

"Qi Lan, the day you will manage to chase after me I will fulfill one of your wishes!" with that he actually ran to his class leaving the panting Qi Lan alone at the hallway

"I hate you for making me tired" She slowly walk to the classroom and greet few of her friends and sat on her chair while Bei Duo happily sat in front of her

"Heard that there was a duck chasing after a giraffe" Qi Lan pout and pinch Bei Duo's arms and tsked her tongue "Who says I am a duck?" but then Bei Duo started laughing so hard and few of the classmates who were around them an heard the conversation soon burst into laughter while Zhu Yang was already on the floor

"Did the Qi Lan just admit that she was a duck?" Qi Lan glared at him and stood up to kick his butt and she did but he didn't even buzz and continue laughing until his tears started to form on his eyes.

"If Qi Lan and Huang Junjun becomes a couple they would be like a duck and a giraffe" Qi Lan pout at her bestfriend who just 'betrayed' her "I hate you all" she pout and sat at her chair. The classmates found Qi Lan very cute and funny even though she never once tried to act cute or girly at all.

The class were already used to Qi Lan pouting and sulking the whole day but they didn't know why they find her cute and likes to tease her a lot, she was like a baby to them and they wanted to pamper her a lot.

But they also knew that the baby they wanted to pamper is a black belt in Taekwondo and also beat the most strong player Mo Tang, so she is someone dangerous behind the cute face of hers.

In few minutes the class started beginning with English where students almost dozed off at the morning because they were bored but the teacher would throw the chalk at them or flick their head.
