Special diet

After some time she realized that she still wasn't losing weight even after changing her diet. She usually skipped breakfast and lunch these days but nothing she was doing was helping. Eventually she started taking a walk after dinner where she would find a secluded place on her path to vomit. She finally started losing weight after throwing up all of her meals. She stayed shaky and weak after a while but she told herself it was worth it if she could keep Matt. Food wasn't as important as her sunshine. Matt seemed satisfied with her progress and complimented her on her diet. Of course he had no idea how she accomplished her goal but he was happy and that was all that mattered to Dawn. She thought she had solved the problem and that they could be happy together now and for a time that was true. One day, Dawn logged on to ICX to see if Matt was online and sent a message asking about his day. After some chit chat, Matt sent a message that made Dawn's heart stop. "I'm just not sure if this is going to work out... I mean, I want to go places with you after school sometimes and hang out, but your parents never let you. It doesn't feel like you're my girlfriend at all. It feels like we are just friends and you're blowing me off." Dawn could feel her chest burn and her stomach start to turn over. She replied as quickly as she could. "Please don't say that! I don't mean to blow you off. It really is my parents. They're a bit strict and worry about me, that's all. I'm really sorry! I'll ask again! I'll beg! Maybe they'll let me go to the movies this weekend with you if Jen goes with her boyfriend as well. Maybe I can figure something out. Just please wait before breaking up with me. Please?" Each second that passed without Matt's reply made Dawn want to throw up. She was sweating and sick by the time his reply came. "Fine. I'm really getting tired of this though. Let me know what your parents say and if you want to keep dating... I have to go. See you tomorrow." Dawn breathed a small sigh of relief and shut down ICX. Now was the hardest part.. Convincing her parents to let her go. She became sick again and wasn't able to keep her stomach down. She hadn't eaten so she puked bile into the trash near her bed.
