Chapter 151: Drunk

"Di Yake, take your men and leave immediately." If Kadia became angry, she would call the police. Even the Di family weren't exempt from the law. She did not believe that Di Yake would be stupid enough to throw away his family's reputation.

"Beautiful Kadia, please calm down. I know that by coming over here to express my feelings so grandly, you must think that I have some ulterior motive. But I've always been attracted to your temperament, and I'm sorry that I've done a reckless thing. I will ask my men to leave immediately." He waved his hand and his men left.

Kadia's rage burned. "Get lost too!"

Di Yake shrugged. He would not leave unless she agreed to his proposal.

"You want to use force?"

"Don't be so harsh! I just can't bear to leave you. Future father-in-law, it's already eight o'clock in the morning. Is it time to prepare a delicious breakfast for me?" Di Yake said to Kai Tara.

Kai Tara laughed. "We've already eaten breakfast. If you want to eat, go back to your own home."

Di Yake grabbed his arm, "Are you trying to resist me? Believe it or not, I'll send you to hell right away."

He pushed Kai Tara away, causing him to fall.

"Dad, are you okay?" Kadia rushed forward to help him up. He raised his head and glared at Di Yake. "Di Yake, you've gone too far! We aren't your family, what right do you have to be here?"

Di Yake laughed, then suddenly covered his mouth and cried out, "Damn it! Who threw something at me?" He looked around but, other than the three of them, nobody else was there.

The faint pain which came from the corner of his mouth made him consider going home.

"Damn it, what the hell? Someone threw something at my mouth for no reason!" Di Yake sat down in a chair while a servant attended to his cut.

Di Yake's younger sister, Di Naji, appeared from outside. She was twenty years old and had a better taste in fashion than her older brother.

Di Yake caught a glimpse of his younger sister and snorted coldly. "Naji, did you go crazy again?"

Di Naji did not like her older brother very much. She liked being in charge.

She snorted unhappily. "You're in charge of me, but you should be in charge of yourself! I heard that you went to the Kai family to propose, but you were kicked out. You're a disgrace to the Di family."

Di Yake angrily sat up straight. He went to hit her, but she yelled before he could. "How dare you try to hit me? If you hit me, I'll blow up your marriage."

Di Naji and Di Yake did not care about one another. The two of them could easily disregard one another's life in order to achieve their own interests.

Di Yake withdrew his hand. "Do you really think you'd have the chance? I could tell father tomorrow and ask him to marry you off to another country. Let's see how you would interfere with my affairs then."

"How dare you?" Di Naji roared.

"How could I not dare? If you try to cause trouble, I will kick you out of this family. Let's see what you have to fight with me!"

Di Naji stomped her feet and returned to her room, followed by a subordinate.

Di Yake touched the corner of his injured mouth and pointed at his subordinate. "Go keep an eye on Naji. Don't let her ruin my business. Also, get my father to arrange her marriage."

His subordinate smiled sinisterly and said, "I'll do my best to help you settle this matter."

Di Yake glanced at him. "After the matter is settled, there will be no lack of benefits for you."

The subordinate thought of money.

After he had chased away Di Yake, Kadia helped Kai Tara into the house.

"Dad, be careful. Did you hurt yourself?"

Kai Tara held her hand and said worriedly, "Kadia, I'm really worried about your safety. Di Yake won't let us off. Pack your things and leave tonight. Go to a place where Di Yake can't find you."

Kadia shook her head and squatted down. She pressed her face against his leg and said sadly, "Dad, I won't leave you behind."

Kai Tara said weakly, "I'm old. You don't have to worry about me. You have to find a way to protect yourself."

"But, Dad." Kadia wiped her tears.

"I can help, but you have to let me go after this matter is over." Lu Xiangdong suddenly appeared, and leaned against a pillar.

Kadia quickly stood up. She had forgotten about him.

"Do you have a way to save us?"

"Yes, but it's a little dangerous. We need the help of Di Yake's sister, Di Naji," Lu Xiangdong said with a smile.

"Are you going to get close to Di Naji and ask her to help you?" Kadia felt that this was a bit risky. After all, Di Naji was not a good person.

Lu Xiangdong walked over and told them his plan.

"Miss, are you really going to run away from home?" the servant asked Di Naji worriedly. She had taken care of Di Naji ever since she was a child.

Di Naji threw a pile of things on the table and looked at the servant. "I'm not leaving. Are you waiting for my brother to marry me off to somewhere else? Besides, I'm not running away from home. I'm just planning to ruin my brother's plans."

The servant shook her head worriedly. "Miss, I think you're taking too much risk by doing this. If young master finds out, he'll definitely skin you alive!"

"Would he dare? I'm his sister. If he did that, my father would not let him off." Di Naji relied on the fact that she was doted on by others. She was just like her brother, most people around her disliked her.

The servant quickly lowered her head and shut her mouth. She was just a servant and had no right to say anything more.

"Don't just stand there. I have to go, the sun will rise soon." Di Naji had already planned everything. While her father and brother were still sleeping, she escaped through the window.

The servant carried her bag on her shoulders. She was going to escape with the young lady. If she did not escape now, she would be punished by Di Yake.

They carefully walked through the side door, but the black dog smelled them. The dog had been raised by Di Yake and was used to dealing with Di Naji.

The black dog ran towards them, scaring Di Naji so much that she threw her bag over.

"The dog is going to ruin everything!"

All the food in the bag fell out, and the black dog forgot about them. Instead, the dog laid on the ground and ate the food.

Di Naji cursed angrily, "Damn dog, just wait until I escape. I'll kill you."

"I'm afraid you won't have the chance!" Di Yake suddenly appeared behind them.

Di Naji was extremely annoyed.

"Brother, you're so annoying!"

"Naji, stop with your little tricks. They're useless to me. Come back with me to see father." Di Yake twisted her wrist, and dragged her into the house.

Di Naji bit the back of his hand, and ran away.

Di Yake covered the back of his hand; he was bleeding from the bite. Then, he grabbed the servant. "Where are you going? Go back so I can deal with you!"

The servant quickly knelt down and bowed to him. "Please spare me! I was forced. If I didn't obey her, she would have sold me."

Di Yake grabbed her face and mocked, "You? If you were to be sold, no one would want you. You're so ugly!"

The servant started to cry. He always spoke so viciously.

Di Naji had already escaped, but she regretted leaving her subordinate. She wasn't sure how her brother would make her subordinates suffer. She was worried about the safety of her subordinate. When she wasn't paying attention, she tripped and fell.

She was in the wilderness, and no one was there to help her. She was so angry that she wanted to curse.

"Someone? Is anyone there? Come and save me!"

Di Naji sat on the ground and rubbed her feet, feeling defeated.

Suddenly, a person squatted in front of her. A pair of beautiful, well-manicured hands were placed in front of her.

A gentle male voice asked, "Are you okay?"

Di Naji thought that she was dreaming. She was in the wilderness, imagining her prince charming with skin as white as snow.

"Who are you?" It took a long time to find her voice. He hugged her waist and helped her up.

Di Naji felt drunk on the man's fragrant smell. She leaned against Lu Xiangdong's arms, and felt as though she were floating.

Lu Xiangdong looked at the woman in his arms. Holding back his disgust, he asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Di Naji said with an infatuated smile.

Lu Xiangdong leaned her against a tree and asked her where she lived.

Di Naji smiled. "You aren't from Cameroon; your skin is so white. Where are you from?"

"I'm from China."

"China? That's so far away. Why are you here?" Di Naji asked him.
