Chapter twelve

"Young miss,the young master's been looking for you. " Peggy our house help said approaching me once I got inside the house.

"Wait, Ken's home?"

"Yes, he's been around for a few hours.He asked of you the very minute he got back."

"Oh my God,Peggy he really did ask for me?or you're just saying that to make me feel better. " well,if that's what you're doing, then it's working because I feel so special right now."

"No,he hasn't even eaten yet,he's been by the door throughout. ",She said.I believed her, because sincerity,was written allover her face.

"Ok,thanks Peg,see ya."  I ran towards the stairs,I was so happy to see the love of my life again. it's been two damn years,and I finally get to see him again. I'm excited,like super very excited to see him,but I'm so scared of what his reaction is gonna be.Is he gonna be happy?or is he gonna still be cold towards me?...well, just one way to find out Laur"My inner self conversed with me,as I stood by his door contemplating on whether or not to knock on the door.

After about two minutes of self battle about my indecision,I decided to give it a try.

Knocking thrice now,still no response.maybe he's asleep,I thought. I was just about to leave, before the door swung open, revealing the love of my life.

I just stood there, staring at him, mouth agape, couldn't bring myself to utter a word...He has really matured since the last time I saw him,chest broader,taller and he's grown a lot of beards,which I definitely ain't complaining, because I find it very sexy.

"Are you gonna say what brought you here,or you gonna stand there staring like an idiot." Ken voice boomed,taking me out of my world of fantasy.

"Ok young man,that's no way to talk to a lady,and particularly your fiancee who you haven't seen for two years. " I said giving him the itch eye.gosh,he really knows how to step on my nerves,I may love this fucker, but don't mean I'll take his shit.

"So you came all the way over here to lecture me?If you're done, I wanna rest now so leave." Ken said his angry expression mirroring mine.

"I just came to check up on you Ken,gosh I've missed you so much. " I said putting my hands on his chest

Ken didn't stop me,he didn't respond,we just stayed that way staring into each other's eyes for a couple of minutes, before Ken roughly brushed my hands off his chest.

"If that's all,Laura or whatever your name is,have a good night rest. "and he just shut the door on my face.what the fuck!!!!

Well,my asshole is back,I murmured rolling my eyes,went to my room and shut the door.

Taking off my clothes,I got inside my bathroom, going over the day's events.pweee,, tomorrow's gonna be one hell of a day.
