The Unexpected

It was 2008. It was suddenly confirmed that her mother has cancer. The whole family was in unbearable shock. She was operated 3 times. Her mother used to be scared of the injection. But it was the time where she went through a few dangerous operations. Her father spent a huge amount for her wife. Siri was just 6years and she was not aware of what was happening. Finally, the doctors said that this time the cancer was a brain tumor. There was no treatment for brain tumor in those days. They said that there was no hope. The family was in immense grief. Everyone in the relatives circle started visiting her as they were her last days. That day was the school reopening day and in addition to that it was her father's birthday. It was 8am but no one awoke Siri. She woke up and saw that the house was crowded and her brother was sitting at a corner and crying. She slowly entered the Hall and saw that everyone were crying loud. Then she noticed her mom lying down in the hall with no breathe. That was Siri's life turning point. She did not cry and she was not aware of what was happening. She doesn't know that she lost her mom. She doesn't know what death really mean. She doesn't know that her mom never returns. She doesn't know that she is going to have a single parent. She doesn't know what had she lost.
