Her lies, his guilt
"Where did you get the bike?" Ming YaoFeng asked the little helper who's pushing the children on a bike for twins.
Tania looked at her master. "These are our boxes from London master. I helped Missy pack it so I know which one has the bike." She was pointing at the two big boxes on the corner of the house.
"We are not allowed to go out because of the dangerous wall, but Missy said the people from your office have fixed the wall so we can play outside now." Tania reported.
"When did the wall get fixed?" He asked, realizing that the wall was already back to normal. He felt a little panic when he remembered what he did to her on this wall just the other day. The blood on his face started draining as a thought of possibilities built up in his mind.
"Assistant Xu sent people a few days ago. There was a dangerous steel that the workers removed. They kept the stuff over there and we are not allowed to go there." She pointed at the far back where the children cannot go.
Ming YaoFeng instinctively looked over the pile of junk. His eyes followed the black frame he clearly remembered loosed and he almost had a heart attack. He looked closer and touched the steel. Dried blood!
He went back to his office and dialed his Assistant's phone as he accessed the CCTV that day.
"Boss, it's Sunday. My wife already sent the milk. It should arrive anytime." Assistant Xu reported before the boss could rant at him.
"What's with the milk again?" Ming YaoFeng is really getting confused now with all the things his wife was doing!
"Wasn't Xiao Yuyu working so much at their company that she can no longer produce milk? She was not even able to visit the children due to overtime work? I already told her that it's bad for her health but who am I to tell her again?" Assistant Xu was ranting at him.
"So she has a lot of overtime?" Ming YaoFeng frowned.
"Yeah! Remember, we saw her brother dating when we got the children's clothes for the event?"
"I see," YaoFeng massaged his head. "So did you send people to fix our wall?"
"Ahh, that one. She told me not to tell you because she grazed the wall with the car. She said you were drunk and it was hard to bring you home so she 'carefully' drove the car to make it easier to bring you inside the house." Assistant Xu explained.
Ming YaoFeng already has an idea that he was the reason why Yuyu was injured and she's covering for him; so that her siblings will not blame him. He was not feeling very well. He just wanted to find her and embrace her right now.
He hung up as the video replay that day, when he pushed her at the wall.
The camera was at the front door and he could see the whole patio. There was a steel on that part of the wall loosely sticking out.
He played the video in slow motion showing her wife's hair hurrying herself to put on her shoes.
Then he came, and pushed her on that f***ing steel! He left her and she pulled herself staggering! He replayed and paused twice, there was a patch of dark thing on her back, growing and growing slowly before a car stopped.
His heart's already breaking he wanted to punch himself and hit himself multiple times!
He dialed Night's number. He needed to confirm one more thing.
"What's up?" Night asked.
"How much work does your sister have to do at your office?" he asked.
"When you said the kids can come over to your place, she finished all the work for the whole week. She said she needed more time with you and the twins; and I can go out dating." Night said proudly.
"She'll be back maybe by monday. Even if she returns on tuesday, you know her, she can manage everything." Night boasted.
"Don't worry about her. She said she's busy with you to make more children, so don't hold back." Night teased him and hung up.
He dialed again Night's number.
"Send me Sandy's number."

"What happened? Did her wound open?" asked Sandy before he could say hello.
"No."
Sandy sighed. "Thanks goodness! William read her records and even though the critical nerve was not hit, the muscles and tissues cannot be forced as it will lead into a more serious injury."
"YaoFeng, thank you for looking after our sister. We really owe you a lot."
YaoFeng's throat is getting stuffy. A heaviness in his heart is choking him. He cleared his throat asd asked, "Were you with Yuyu the other day?"
"When was that? I'm not sure, this e only day we met was at the mall. We stayed at the tea house to wait for my pregnancy result. Wasn't it the day you asked her to stay in your house with the twins?" She reminded him.
"The children are calling me, bye for now." He hung up and covered his face with his hands.
Liar! So many lies to cover up everything! He hated it! Hated that she's so… so kindly smart!!!
Why was it so hard to find her when he wanted to see her and so easy to see her when he didn't want to?!

The next morning, Assistant Xu reported to him.
"Boss, you hit two red lights on the night of the event?" he asked as he looked at his tablet.
"Where's the car?" this is his chance to find his wife. Why didn't he think that she took the car?
"At the hospital two blocks from the mall on the corner." Assistant Xu casually said.
(What the? That's the first hospital I called!!!)
"Prepare the car! We are going there!" YaoFeng grabbed his phone and dialed the director's number.

"I've been looking for my wife and you're the first hospital I called! Your people told me that there's no Ming Yuyu on the record!" YaoFeng was raging as he went out of the lobby to wait for the car.
"Ah Feng, You're the one who said that we cannot disclose this information to anyone. Why are you raging?" the director laughed at him.
"When did I say that?" he asked.
"I'll send you the date," the director hung up and forwarded him the email.

Yuyu was mostly asleep, she only woke up from time to time to give instructions to Tania or call people around to tell them they're okay.
Ming YaoFeng arrived at the hospital. The director and attending doctor informed him of her situation and they said it would take roughly two months to recuperate. He cannot believe how she is handling all these by herself. He weakly walked into her room.
The room was huge and she's facing her back on the door due to her injury. A nurse just finished recording something and she gestured to him to be silent as the patient was sleeping.
YaoFeng moved to see his wife. Her sleeping face was pale and she's black and blue all over. The director's voice repeated in his mind.
(Luckily she was able to call me when the two of you were chased by the paparazzi! She came almost drained with blood and still able to crash to the emergency barrier. How did you escape? She said both of you were cornered that's why she's bruised all over, but it seems like she's been abused, there are bite marks all over her face and anywhere a person could..)
His eyes started to feel warm and his chest felt so stuffy as if his heart was on his throat. The pain and guilt was building up inside him. She dared not to smear his name!
YaoFeng silently sat on the chair not too far and watched her.
He felt like his heart was breaking looking at her. He sat there for the whole time when her cellphone alarmed.
Yuyu was woken up by the alarm and made a phone call.
"Hello." her husky voice sounded.
She chucked. "Yeah. The twins slept late so I woke up late. Can you send my laptop to our house? Okay. Thanks. I will make your week's work done. I want you to have a good time with Gracie. Life is short."
YaoFeng almost choked on her words, life is short. She cannot see him as he chose to sit near the door. He does not want to scare her when she wakes up.
" I also need to plan your next two to three month's activity. YaoFeng is planning to take me on a vacation so I won't be able to work."
"That's why we need a lot of money. Okay. Tell me when it arrived."
