Should have become senior cultivator by now

Ainsley asked his family what they meant by feeling the changes in his body what kind of changes did he need to feel and Brea and Aero told him that he should have realized by now that his energy veins were clearer and were able to move energy faster.

Ainsley realized this the second he achieved the perfect cultivation the thing is he spent 3 weeks trying to feel a different change than this and his organs getting stronger. This was a waste of time.

He wanted to have a breakthrough to senior level cultivation which needed him to turn all the energy in his body to his energy. Which was kind of like gaining recognition from the energy type you cultivated in.

Ainsley was having a blast of a day, he hunted and his hunt went really well. He came back to his house which was next to clan heads house, Brea and Aero was missing and he thought that they were probably out on a business or something.

After entering his room all his thoughts changed since he saw a letter sitting on his bed. His parents left the house for days every once in a while but they never left any letters for him. Ainsley knew that something had happened.

Ainsley opened the letter and started reading.

Sorry we had to leave in such a hurry. However we couldn't stay here anymore the Religion of the Heavenly Tiger has found us. We would have liked to take you with us but with your current strength you probably would have died on the road. We would suggest you to go to the Million Techniques Academy since you could probably find the most cultivation techniques there. Hopefully today wasn't the last day we saw each other.

Brea and Aero

They had to run away then huh, they had to run away because of that fucking piece of shit religion. Ainsley remember them talking about those guys they would say those despicable people have tried to kill them for years to no avail but they had to run away since finally the religion dispatched a lot of people to take care of them.

Ainsley was wondering what he should do, should he stay here, go to the academy, could he destroy the religion after a few years, will he be able to find his parents.

He finally steeled his resolve, and decided he would go to the academy, become the number one student, he would try to learn as many techniques as possible, both cultivation, movement, and fighting. His goal was to be able to destroy the Religion of Heavenly Tiger.

He packed up all his belongings, and started his journey towards the Million Techniques Academy, he found a carriage that would take him to the next city towards the Academy, the road would take about 4 weeks in total to Academy ans in this time Ainsley would have to change carriages a few times but except that and taking care of his daily needs he had a lot of time to breakthrough to senior level cultivation.

Three weeks had passed and he was on the final carriage, the road would take one more week and Ainsley had to breakthrough in this one week to meet his own expectations. Everyone he asked before told him breaking through to senior level is easier than starting your cultivation journey but for Ainsley that wasn't the case. Since the energy type he was using was a god-tier techniques the energy was a lot harder to gain recognition from.

Ainsley was trying to gain recognition again, he tried to achieve senior level for hundreds of times by now.

He connected to the energy's soul and tried to make it work for him by forcing it and bam another failure.

Ainsley was wondering what the problem was when he realized that he always tried to overpower the energy, maybe he had to something else.

Ainsley connected to the energy's soul again but this time he wasn't trying to overpower the energy he was just trying to communicate with it, he was able to show the energy that he would get powerful in the future and he would use the energy to protect and to get revenge.

After communicating with the energy for a while Ainsley felt like his body was heating up real fast. He kept circulating all his energy and after a while the hotness on his body subsided. He felt that he had broken through and he felt something different when he was using generic energy now. It was way easier to use in any way, it was faster in gis body, more changeable, and he realized that the energy he had before really wasn't his it was just borrowed energy stuck inside his body, but now the energy around him wanted to get inside his body. If he achieved senior cultivation with overpowering the energy then this wouldn't happen. Everyone else on this planet had achieved senior level cultivation by overpowering the energy and they wouldn't know the real power of that energy.

People around him realized that this kid has reached senior level cultivation almost all of them congratulated him and they went back to whatever they were doing before.

Ainsley looked to be around the age 14-15 since he had worked out so hard and had so many resources. Reaching senior level at the age of 10 wasn't that big of a deal for big clans and such but for normal people the normal age to reach senior cultivation would be around 16-20 years of age. No one except a few people realized that Ainsley wasn't 14-15 but rather 10. These people started scheming to catch Ainsley and sell him to one of the slavehouses. They would get huge amounts from this one kid so they decided to take the risk. The 3 people who were scheming were 2-6, 2-7, 2-11, they had been in senior level for a few years now and they didn't think the kid who has just broken through would be able to beat any of them.

Their plan was to catch the kid at the last stop before they reached the next city and sell him to the first slave house they found.

While all this was happening Ainsley had a faint idea something would happen since he broke through in fron of random people and someone might have realized his real age.

Carriage stopped, and they would be staying here for the night, there was no toilet or any other thing around so people had to go in the woods. Ainsley got up and walked towards the woods, he was vigilant and he was checking whether anyone would follow or not. He saw three guys coming right after him and realized these three were the people who didn't congratulate him and they looked at him numerous times after he broke through.

Ainsley unsheathed his sword, used a tree as his cover and started waiting, the three man squad slowly made their way towards Ainsley.

They reached the tree he was hiding behind. They saw Ainsley going behind it from far away. Right when they were getting ready to strike Ainsley jumped out and attacked the weakest of the three, the man managed to keep his life but his right arm was cut off and he wouldn't survive for long if he kept bleeding.

The other two attacked Ainsley after a split second, Ainsley realized he wouldn't be able to dodge neither off the two attacks and if he tried to party both of them he would probably get overpowered. Getting overpowered and thrown back seemed a better choice than losing a limb or two. Ainsley parried the two attacks at the same time only to find himself not getting thrown back bot even taking a step back. Their power seemed to be around the same. After the parry Ainsley swung his sword at the most powerful guy and managed to stab him in the lungs, but the other two wasn't staying idle and they attacked too. Ainsley managed to dodge one of them while trying to parry the other one but he was a bit too slow to parry the second guy which caused him to have a 20 cm wound on his back.

Ainsley wanted to finish this as soon as possible so he pushed himself to the limit and attacked with all his strength, after a few minutes three dead bodies laid down on the ground while a panting child was looking down at them.

Ainsley looked through their pockets to find a few gold pieces and nothing else, their weapons were worth almost nothing so he didn't take anything else he left them there and went back to the camp.

He was thinking how he would manage to heal his wound when he remembered that some of the cultivation techniques he learnt had regenerating properties. He used his generic energy to stop the bleeding, then he used it to slowly heal the wound, it wouldn't heal thoroughly in one night but he would be able to stop the bleeding and heal it halfway through.

The journey after that wasn't that eventful. A few monsters attacked the carriage but was killed by the guard who was a grandmaster cultivator.

He reached the Academy which was about 20km out of Bayter city, he asked when is the next application to study was. He was told that they accept applications every 3 months, and one has to be senior level to and under 20 to apply. Next application was 2 months from now. Ainsley had to find a place to stay for 2 months.

Ainsley came back to Bayter city and started looking around for an inn which he could afford for two months. He was unable to find any the most he could do was 1.5 months with what he had and that was after the bargain price. He needed to make money somehow and he started to look at his options and realized he had none at the moment except taking quests from the hall of adventure.

The next day Ainsley got ready and left for the Hall of Adventure he found the place and entered it was neither too full nor empty, there was about 40-50 people looking at the jobs that they could take. Ainsley also started looking at the jobs. He found that almost all the jobs were gathering herbs and they all required people to have learnt some techniques to find the herbs since they didn't want to wait for weeks for some herbs. Ainsley asked the receptionist what this technique was and how he could get it.

Receptionist Mike explained to him that he could buy the technique but it wasn't sold on its own, it was sold as a bundle with other techniques that increased other senses.

Ainsley realized this was a scam to cheat people of their money but he bought the bundle and learnt them in a few hours combined them together to create an awesome affect on all his senses. He once again realized he choose a great cheat to start with.

Ainsley wasn't using the system a lot these days but he was keeping count on his points which was increasing bit by bit, he only wanted healing pills of all sorts and cheats from the system so he had to gather a lot of points. He had 95666 points at the moment and the lowest grade cheats started from 100k.

After showing he has learnt the technique required, he took 5 jobs from the hall which was the maximum limit. All these herbs were found in swamp areas so he went to the closest swam area which happened to be a 4 hour walk from the city. It was still mid day since Ainsley got up early. With the new technique he was able to see the places where the natural energy was abundant which would be the place where the plants would have the most chance to grow.

He was walking around looking for the herbs he needed, when he saw an area with huge amounts of natural energy. He went ahead to take a look but when he got close to it he felt like he was getting strangled, he started using his energy to the fullest to see what was causing this phenomena. He slowly moved forward after getting used to the abundance of the energy. He saw that there was a pond which was the source of the energy. He touched the water to see what kind of energy amount it had. He felt stinging pain all over his from all the energy rushing through his finger. He pulled back his hand. And realized that this ponds energy was really too much. After trying to make the energy calm for a while he felt all the energy he got from the pond ceased to exist in a split second. He couldn't feel the energy in his veins which caused him to be shocked. What kind of energy was this, why did it turn into nothing. After looking through his body a bit more he realized even though his cultivation didn't increase his body has become more powerful with his energy veins getting stronger. Ainsley realized this energy couldn't be used to cultivate but rather be used to make his body more powerful. He wondered what was the cause of the energy abundance at the first place but he was unable to find it.

He saw that there were all kinds of herbs around the pond. Way more than he needed, he took he needed and let the rest grow, since he might use them some day.
