Chapter 130: [August Arrives]

Third time, this the third time that Victor was facing off against Ryuuji

The first time he didn't regard Ryuuji as someone as a threat towards him, after all he treats every power that is above the earth as being subjected to the force of gravity itself, which is somewhat true to a normal logic

The second time he then regarded Ryuuji as someone who is annoying and troublesome, especially tobyhe fact that he was able to go toe to toe with a member of the terrorist group in terms of combat power and intelligence

Third time he then was completely annoyed by the person himself as he once again blocked his path and this time with fact that he was really hurrying to escape the place before the organization managed to encircle him and capture him (which is a taboo and super restricted rule on their group) "Do not let yourself get caught, or else you will die"

With that thought in mind, Victor then completely disregard Claire for a temporary moment as he was really focused on getting rid of Ryuuji at that very place, so that he woidpnt be able to block him for the 4th time

Seeing that Victor was about to get serious, Ryuuji then didn't spend any more words towards his opponent as he directly charged ahead with his sword ifrit and delivered out a huge arc slash towards him

In that exact moment Victor then quickly formed a Gravity barrier around him, causing the flames to redirect their trajectory and disperse towards nothingness

But Ryuuji didn't let up as he quickly dashed once more and slammed his sword against Victor's barrier, unfortunately that didn't do anything at all, but Ryuuji didn't give up as he continued to hack away at the barrier with quick slashes which almost overlaps each attack on each other and focused towards a certain point on the barrier

At his 50th slash in just about 35 seconds, Ryuuji was then able to destroy the barrier protecting Victor as he grit his teeth and swung up his sword across Victor chest

But the moment he did such an act, Victor himself then suddenly sent a graviton pulse wave around him, causing Ryuuji to get blown away and quickly following up with a quick long range graviton punch

In just one attack, Ryuuji then crashed to the ground as he tumbled over, before using his sword(Ifrit) as his anchor and stabbed it unto the ground

After stopping his momentum with his sword, Ryuuji spat out a mouthful of blood to the side as he suddenly lifted his sword aligned to his eye level and thrusted it forward causing a flame surge to move forward and attack Victor himself

With such an attack, Victor then naturally rolled to the side just in time to dodge the attack, as he used his gravity ability to pull in Ryuuji's initial flame surge into his orbit and completely return it back towards the latter

Seeing such a quick tactical maneuver, Ryuuji then quickly activated his chaos eyes thus activating his destruction ability and immediately commanded the returned attack to be destroyed

"Explode!!!"

In that moment the returned attack exploded into bits as it dispersed into nothingness and causing it to co.pletely cover Ryuuji's sight

Just like he expected Victor actually used that slight moment of temporary blinding to close in the distance between them and deliver a huge downward chop towards Ryuuji

Reacting to such an attack through pure instincts, Ryuuji then held up his sword overhead to protect himself from that attack as he suddenly felt the weight of the whole world plunging him down to the ground

Unknown to him Victor's attack was laced with his ability of gravity, thus the moment his attack landed on Ryuuji's weapon, he was then immediately pressurized by the weight of gravity causing the latter to suddenly grit his teeth in pain

"Damn it! Using gravity in a sneaky way!!!"

In reply to that Ryuuji then had no choice but to negate such a surprise attack with his own ability, which would give him a slight opening to escape from his current predicament

"Explode!!!"

An explosion then rung out at that very location, causing a slip to be given to Ryuuji and somehow escape through his current predicament

When the smoke cleared away, Victor then suddenly saw a huge crater on the ground seemingly the result of that very explosion itself which enacted a direct counterforce towards his gravity for a split second and causing Ryuuji to escape through it

Concluding up to that point Victor then suddenly muttered

"Hah! He's crazy! Directly blowing up the ground in which he is stepping on is nothing more that a slight attempt of suicide, after all if he did such a thing, then his very feet itself would totally not come out unscathed"

After muttering out those words, Ryuuji then quickly looked up to the sky just in time to witness Ryuuji striking down his sword from above and giving Victor himself some ample time to dodge

As he dodged the high strike from Ryuuji, Victor then noticed the former's feet being batted up all over, seemingly the result of explosion that had currently happened

Upon seeing such a pitiful state, Victor then quickly seized the opportunity wherein Ryuuji himself was still in that lagged momentum where he directed a high downward swing and and quickly inserted a straight punch towards it guts, before dragging him to the ground

"Gah!"

As Ryuuji crashed to the ground backfirst, the person himself then quickly gathered all of his strength towards his feet and somehow delivered a counter kick to the face, causing Victor to suddenly be blown away and crash into the distance

After receiving such painful attack, Victor himself then wanted to exact a revenge at that current moment before he suddenly stopped on his tracks and somehow noticed August presence behind him

In a sudden notice he quickly turned his gaze behind him as he suddenly saw August looking back at him and asked a certain question

"What's taking you so long? Where's the target?"
