Chapter 197:[Re-emergence III]

Just as Kanzaki was about to reach Kentaro with his sword, a whole huge truck suddenly flew above them as it crashed directly towards the former, and blew him back by its force, before exploding into the bits of flames. The moment this happened, one of the member of their group then instantly appeared besides Kentaro, as she held out her hand and reached out towards him.

"What the hell are you doing? Due to your fight with him,, you attracted quite an attention towards this place, do you want to be caught by the organization?"

"Maria..."

The person who appeared before Kentaro was none other than Maria Gracianti, the only remaining Mexican nationality member of their group. She wields the chaos ability of teleportation, a type of power that branches out towards space manipulation itself. However even though she has a teleportation power itself which could be categorized as common rank among the rarity of skills, the way she honed her power on the other hand is pretty diverse.

Normally when teleportation comes to mind, all the people would think that they can appear and disappear in one place similar to how blink is, regardless of its distance. The only downside of this ability is that its teleportation capability are only limited to how far the user's eye can see. All of the ability no matter how godlike they can be, have always a downside to it. One primary example is Kanzaki ability of foresight, in exchange for seeing the future, his eyes and brain would get strained by stress and the amount of information they will absorb.

For strength enhancement, its downside is that it may potentially lead to broken foundation or bones, the more it is used. For abilities anything related to speech activation, their throats would get damage the more they use it. Every ability has its own price.

Now as for Maria, she naturally has a story of her own and reason why she joined the terrorist group, but that story is a different matter all to itself.

The moment Maria pulled up Kentaro, the latter then begun to pick up his sword as he said to the former.

"What are you doing here? asked by Kentaro

"That's supposed to be my question! We are ordered to disperse and meet up outside the city, so why are you still here?"

In that moment Kentaro pointed his chin towards Kanzaki who was slowly recovering himself, as Kentaro replied.

"Its because of him, i was planning to fend off anyone who was following August, it was supposed to be an easy fight... never did i expect however was that a monster like him would appear in the enemy's side"

"Monster?"

"I cant explain it but that guy can use multiple abilities at the same time"

"A what?!?!?! multiple abilities? but that's impossible, there is no record of a chaos ability that can let you use multiple ability of different category and rank"

"I know! that's why i'm trying to end him here, unfortunately he's too tough to handle.... we need to get rid of him, before he could intervene in August plans"

After hearing Kentaro's words, Maria then immediately understood why he was fighting against an opponent rather than escaping the city. After all just by listening to him and hearing what the enemy could do, there is really a high chance that such a person would be a thorn in their part in the near future, so in order to get rid of any obstacles in their path, they would need to get rid of Kanzaki right this moment.

Unfortunately their situation at hand isn't exactly in their favor. Due to the destructive fight they were having, the destruction itself alerted numerous users and soldiers towards this area, as many of the organization's forces rush up towards this place in mass. If they don't escape now, they will soon be surrounded by the enemy and captured by the end of the day.

"I know that you want to get rid of him, but we cant stay here... the enemy is slowly encircling this area, if we stay put any longer, both of us will be captured"

Hearing Maria's words, Kentaro begun to weight his decision in his mind, as he contemplated on what to do in this situation. In the end his rationality took over his decision making, which then led to a favorable answer.

"... Fine! Get us out of here"

The moment Maria heard Kentaro's answer, she then hurriedly took ahold of his back as she used her ability to teleport themselves away from the encirclement of the organization. On the other hand, when Kanzaki saw this act, his eyes glowed  golden even further as electricity coarse through his body, and his veins popping out all over his limbs. In a single push, he then speed blitz across the start as he tries to catch up towards the fleeing enemy.

While one uses teleportation as a means of transportation, the other one uses speed as a means of catching up to them. Naturally both Kentaro and Maria saw this, due to that Maria kicks it up even further as she speed up her teleportation ability which somehow made Kentaro squint his eyes to prevent himself from throwing up. After all due to this sped up teleportation, his view changes every second as the places switched faster than what his brain could process.

Of course when Maria sped up her usage of her ability, Kanzaki also sped up his mobility, until; he finally caught up to them as he swings his sword towards Maria. Unfortunately Kentaro saw through his intention as he used his sword to intercept his swing, which caused both him and Maria to crash down on the roof of the building. Take not that the only way for them to avoid encirclement is for them to move above the building itself. Due to that all this time, the chase has been happening on top of the building itself.

But just as they crashed down and Kanzaki caught up to deliver a fatal blow, Maria used her ability once more to teleport them towards another building in an instant, which caused Kanzaki's attack to miss and sliced off the whole section of the building itself.

But without wasting any second of the moment, the electric arcs around Kanzaki grew intense, as he used speed acceleration and strength enhancement to make a quick jump towards another building. The distance of one building from another was about 30 meters, meaning Kanzaki used three chaos ability to make the jump and land on the building where both Kentaro and Maria is currently located.

However before Kanzaki could even land on his feet on the building, Maria snapped her fingers, as she used her ability on Kanzaki and teleported him about 80 meters away from their current location, just right above an apartment in Moscow. Because of that Kanzaki crashed into this apartment home which caused multiple people to scream, as he literally made a mess of this place.

Just like what was stated, Mari's use of her chaos ability was pretty diverse. Not only can she teleport herself, but she can also teleport anyone she deemed her target towards the designated place she hand in mind.

Now that Kanzaki was teleported away from such place, Maria the continued in teleporting her and Kentaro away and heads towards outside the city itself. Unknown to them some of the organization agents were closely chasing them from behind as they rushed in the shadows of the building.

On the other hand when Kanzaki recovered from the shock of suddenly being teleported away, he then slowly stepped out of the destroyed section of the apartment building as he somewhat plans to continue the chase despite the distance between them. But just as he was about to do such a thing, he suddenly felt an ominous aura coming from the opposite direction as his head darted towards that p[lace and somehow seemed to be attracted by the thickness of the aura itself.

With that thought in mind, he then abandoned the thought of chasing after his opponent and instead go to the place where the aura is being generated.
