Chapter 207: [One Chance III]

Kanzaki was dangerous, his way of slowly adapting to his situation as the battle goes on is truly frightening. If the situation continues, August then realized that the latter himself would find out a way to deal with his ability.

In fact it was already hard for him to deal with Kanzaki in his current state wherein the person himself could not comprehend August's ability that very well, but the moment Kanzaki developed his rhythm against August ability, that was the moment the table would be turned against him. For the first time since his face off against the Head general of the chaos breaker organization, August finds himself in a difficult situation wherein he could not easily kill his opponent.

Gathering blood to his hands and form it into a scythe, August charges forward towards Kanzaki as he simultaneously conjured numerous blood spears and bullets around him before launching them off towards Kanzaki.

In response to this Kanzaki used Aegis to defend himself, Metallization to fully up his body's defenses, and Foresight in order to easily dodge any attack that he deemed preventable by any means. Combining the use of three different  chaos ability, Kanzaki slowly became un touchable as only a few of them manage to him him but with literally no damage to his body due to metallization.

After dodging all those ranged attacks, he then used his foresight once more together with lightning energy in order to heighten his senses and able to dodge August surprise swing in  a matter of a blink of an eye. because of that series of movements, August was simply flabbergasted to the speed and sense that Kanzaki had shown, as he quickly turnaround around and predicted him to appear behind him.

Just like august expected, Kanzaki did appear behind him, as he swung his blood scythe towards his direction only to  miss its target, as Kanzaki literally dodged by pulling back his head and bending his back backwards.

The moment August missed his attack, Kanzaki's gulden eyes then darted towards him, as he clenched his fist and used strength enhancement, before sending out a punch which blew August away.

Crashing unto the cemented wall a few blocks away from his previous location, August then cough up for air as he spat out both saliva and blood as he clenched his stomach and endured the pain on his guts. But before he could recover, Kanzaki sent out a torrent of black flames towards his direction, which forced August to erect up a blood shield from underneath his feet.

However the moment August did this, a lightning strike came down from above, as it squarely hit him and literally shocking his whole body into near paralyzation. But due to his will of never falling down, August was able to quickly snap back his senses, as he gathered more blood into his free hand and conjured multiple blood drills, before sending them out to attack Kanzaki.

But this attack proved to be useless, as Kanzaki simply speed blitz his way pass the torrent of attack from the blood drills and instantly appear behind August through the use of lightning movement. Using this chance Kanzaki fully enhanced his attack, by combining white flame, black flame, and lightning energy to fully enhanced its attack's destructiveness, before slashing it towards August back, which produced a huge explosion that shook the whole place.

It was supposed to be finished at that very moment, it was that one chance that Kanzaki had to take in order to take down August, but as the smoke from the explosion clears up, what surprised him was none other than a shield which literally took on the full brunt of his attack and behind such shield was August who war injured and bleeding on the head from dealing with the residue force with his whole body. Nevertheless August was still alive and the fight was far from over.

This reveal clearly shocked Kanzaki the most, because of that shock his mind blank out for a few seconds which gave leeway for August to catch him by the neck as he roared and slammed him to the ground.

"You!!! Just die already!!!"

But the moment August puts a pressure in choking him, Kaido's senses snapped back to to reality, as he quickly tried to get ahold of the arm that was trying to choke him to death. But before his hand could reach August arm, the latter himself pulled up his blood scythe as he miniaturized it into a hand held, before slashing down and hooking Kanzaki's arm.

In Kanzaki's state his couldn't feel any pai9n as he saw his hand get hooked down by a blood weapon as he simply watched his hand get dragged down in a bloody manner. But his body knew that the host was in danger if the situation goes on, so without any further context, he used multiple chaos ability in that situation which overload the energy in his body and caused a mana detonation to occur which blew August away and crash on his back.

As August crashed down top the ground, pain echoed all over his body as he felt tired and weakening at the same time. He had been fighting all this time without any rest whatsoever and Kanzaki had literally tired him out from using too much of his ability. Throughout the fight he had collected a lot of blood in his arsenal to last the entire day fighting the organization, but never did he expect that everything he had collected was slowly being used up just from fighting a single opponent who had such strength and power in the organization, such a person was truly un precedented.

He believe that if such a person was present in the past wherein their base had been attacked by the organization, then he believe that none of them could have survived to see the next day. That just how high August regards Kanzaki's chaos ability. The white flames that Kanzaki had used was similar to Kentaro's chaos ability, through that he had somehow had an inkling idea on what Kanzaki's chaos ability is.

As  he thought of this by himself, August could hear multiple explosions ringing out all over the p[lace, as he somewhat guessed that the other members of the terrorist group were also fighting for their lives all across the city of Moscow, but the way the sound of fighting gets closer to his location, August somewhat guessed that his members might have sense something bad and came to his rescue, after all he was fighting against such monster.

Thinking it up to that point, he cant help but laugh at his members effort as he glanced down towards Kanzaki's direction. But what he saw completely surprised him than ever before, Kanzaki himself was also down on the ground and not moving at all, it seems like his discharge pf energy had literally shocked his whole body causing him to revert back to his original state. With him returning back to his original state, all manners of burden that his body endured alone was passed down straight to him, which caused a shock and somewhat knocked him out of conscious.

He was down from exhaustion  and the monster was down from the shock, in the end the fight between them ended up in a tie, such was a laughable situation. In that moment he knew what he needed to do, in order to further prevent the monster person to ever growing stronger in the future, he needs to kill him now and prevent his growth, but no matter what he do, he cant gather his strength , just as he cant gather his ability to control blood in the surroundings.

Realizing his state, August gave up as he let Kanzaki be, as he sprawled up on the floor and giving up from ever escaping the organization's clutches. However in that moment all the members of the terrorist group finally appeared before him, as they rushed towards him in a state where all of them were injured and at the brink of death.

The organization's retaliation was too much, since a lot of innocent bystander had already been involved, the organizations countered back with an even greater force, mixed up with multiple powerful people within the group which pressured the whole terrorist group. In the end they barely managed to arrived before August as they all tried to not let him fall asleep.

"August! wake up! you cant sleep here! we have so much more to achieve!" said by Victor

"This is no place to sleep august!, we need to escape Hurry!" said by Kentaro

"Um guys! you better hurry up[!" said by Maria

"Crap! too late! we're surrounded" alarmed by Andrei

As one of the terrorist's members said this out loud, all the members then formed a circle around august as they faced off against the organization's forces which had currently surrounded them all over the place. This time the organization itself doesn't intend to let escape as they even used the satellite above them to monitor everyone's movement.

"Looks like this will be our last stand, it was nice fighting with you guys" said by Helena

From the beginning of the group till its last moment, the previous more than hundred members were now reduced to merely 6 survivors, and the five of them tried to protect August at all cost. In comparison to hundreds of agents gathered in the sight, a mere 6 vs 100 fight is a huge disadvantage towards the terrorist group as they were all also injured from trying to get to August's side. From that picture it seems like all of them would die as the result of this stunt.

But before any fight could break out which would lead to more deaths, August spoke out to his members in a weakened state as he said.

"That's enough! put down your guard! let them catch you! i cant afford to see more of my family die in the process"

Hearing August words, a deep swelling bulged up everyone's hearts as they all seemed feel the hidden intent of August which derives from guilt, sadness, loneliness, and exhaustion. August cant afford to see another member die. Even though he had killed some members along the way, that was an act of discipline in order to prevent another traitor to arise within their ranks. Every death leads to his family becoming smaller, at this point in time he had lost far too many already.

He was tired, at that moment all he ever wanted was to rest. So in respect to August words while holding back their anger and tears, everyone let go of their guard as they let the organization capture them and lock them up.
