Chapter 283: [The Enemy That Cant Be Killed]

The moment Seite's resurrection git triggered, it's mana signature became apparent to everyone among the Sentinel group, as they realized that someone actually manage to kill Seite himself. However despite knowing that someone manage to kill Seite, none of them seemed worried as they instead showed curiosity on how they manage to kill him for his skill to get triggered.

To be exact among their group, Seite is the most troublesome opponent for anyone to handle and it is not because of his strength nor capability of his fighting skills, but rather its all due to his resurrection skill.

Each and every single one of the Sentinels have a set of particular additional skills on top of their immense fighting capabilities. For Seite his additional skills on top of his strength is his resurrection ability.

His ability is called "12 lives", every single day he gains a total of 12 lives regardless whether he used up all his lives the previous day or not. Additionally everytime he dies and had spent one of his lives, he would then become stronger for about 2 times of his previous capability. Meaning the moment his life is reduced to 1, he would then be at his strongest and almost neigh impossible to kill. This too resetted everyday without fail.

However despite this seemingly broken skill, it will always have its own flaws no matter how small it is. As long as someone manage to kill Seite before a day ends, they would be able to kill him regardless of his Stat. All it needs are ones cunningness and tactics to suppress Seite no matter how many times he revives.

Unfortunately at this moment Uno refuse to believe that there is someone who can suppress Seite to the point of death, with that in mind, he was not worried at all as he watched the City's wall slowly crumble from the waves after waves of monsters charging at them.

Just like what Uno had expected, the agents in the wall are really struggling in defending their position. Since the some of the sky whales had manage to land and released the chaos beings that they currently carried inside them unto the city, not only was the city undersiege by chaos being nonstop, but the agents and soldiers on the wall are also sandwich in with both enemies present at their front and back.

In that moment while Jinwoo was dealing with chaos beasts that was climbing the wall, all of them then suddenly realized that the photon cannon had manage to charge fully and was about to release another devastating blow towards the wave of chaos beings.

Upon seeing this, Jinwoo then gave an order to protect the main cannon in order to prevent any chaos being from intercepting the attack.

After a few seconds when the cannon was ready to fire at any moment, Head General Alex then gave his command to fire from the command room as it aimed towards a huge group of galapagus nearing the front line of the navy defense corps.

"Fire!!!"

However in that moment when the cannon was about to fire its shot, something unexpected happens which shifted the whole war to one side agaisnt the other. Right before the attack could be fired, Chaos being Leviathan then suddenly rushed underneath the water surface after recovering from Jinwoo's attack, as it splashed put of the water surface and crawled across the walls surface.

In a split second the leviathan arrived right infront of the main photon cannon, as it charged up its breath and aimed at the main cannon itself.

In that moment the main cannon and leviathan breath simultaneously fire off against one another in point blank range, causing a catastrophic explosion which envelopes a huge portion on the wall.

Before jinwoo and the other Agents and soldiers could react, they were all engulfed by the explosion as everything turned white.

The explosion was so loud and destructive that everyone saw it even from afar and felt its tremor. In that very moment Head General Alex and the rest of the people inside the command room had a grim expression as the main cannon was destroyed in that explosion, what's more supporters and personnel are quickly calling out people that had been killed in that explosion.

Many supporters broke down as they witnessed their partners get caught up in that attack, the command room itself was simply in chaos as they witness one flatline after another.

As if that wasn't enough, as a final blow, due to that explosion, a huge chunk of hole can be seen, as the walls has been breached, and is exposed for any invading enemies. What's more despite being blasted straight up to its face, Leviathan was still alive, as it lacks his burned scales and menacingly glare at the city itself.

In that moment it was time for retaliation and destruction, the time of humans was now over, and everything will be overturned.

With this thought in mind, leviathan who seemed formidable and durable that almost no man made weapon can kill it, then roared its lungs out as it forced some of the fighters in the city in a feared state causing their muscles to be slightly paralyzed.

After that it then growled at the city and prepared itself to jump over the destroyed wall. But before it could jump fully, a sudden surge of energy rose up from afar, as the light from its mana was so illuminating that it also somewhat blinded the leviathan.

Sensing another powerful enemy nearby, the leviathan roared towards the direction of the energy only to be met by a surge of wave attack which completely vaporized its head and upper body into ashes. Just like that Arthur killed the leviathan from afar with his weapon which is the imitation of Excalibur itself.

Unknown to the majority, Arthur's sword was not made by the organization, he had found such weapon when he was roaming the lands of London during his earlier days as an agent. From there he founded a rusted sword on a stone.

And seemingly that rusted sword from before was the very same sword he is wielding after a few restoration it had undergone under Arthur's expense.

Per the legend surrounding the sword and the name Excalibur, according to ancient scripts to the time even before merlin came i to possession of the sword, the sword Excalibur is not made by man but rather made by fairies than came from the land of fae for the sake of humanity during the ancient times.

Back then there was a catastrophic entity that almost ravaged the world something that even made the gods back down in surrender. In order to save of what's left of humanity, the fairies made the sword and entrusted it to a human worthy enough to wield the sword.

Using the sword it then slew the entity that was even stronger than the gods. That was the myth surrounding the sword Excalibur before its famous iteration of king Arthur. Because of that even though it's an imitation, the sword was able to display a portion of its original strength and showcased it by killing a creature that was far stronger than a human but weaker than a God. The anomaly killing weapon, Excalibur.
