Chapter 3

After a while I realized everyone was just standing there and staring outside at the weird phenomenon. No one had said a word since we got here , " what's going on mr.balmer" I said, breaking everyone from their daze. "Huh,oh um...it's nothing don't worry if it was serious the principal would have come on the overhead speaker by now" he said unconvincingly "since everything is obviously going to be alright we should head back into the classro-" all of a sudden the class started to shake violently again knocking everyone to the floor. I was one of the first to recover and get up and I looked outside to see if anything was happening and I was completely baffled. Everyone had stop talking again, the events outside recapturing everyone's gaze. The blood red sky was getting even darker now turning almost black, the clouds were twisting and turning in all directions making the sky seem like a war was going on above the clouds. Then suddenly the clouds stopped in place and a giant crack appeared in the sky. The crack widened and widened until a myriad of rainbow light whips came out of the sky thrashing about making the sky look like a giant plasma ball. The only problem was we were inside of it. The plasma whips started to get longer and wider as the crack opened up and eventually one of them found its way to the ground in front of our window. There was a loud boom and we could see other classroom windows shatter and the pieces get whipped away in the wind. The plasma whips just kept getting brighter and brighter until we all had to shield our eyes from blazing light. Then while we couldn't see was happening from the bright lights and is having to shield our eyes we heard a massive thundering sound, heard and felt every glass object nearby shatter, felt the ground begin to rumble, and finally a giant wave of energy was released from the crack without anyone being able to notice it. As the wave of colorless energy zoomed across the sky and earth everything in its path was flipped, turned, and jostled. Then finally the wave reached the school where I was cowarding and shielding my eyes from the blazing lights, and as I felt the wave of energy pass through me, I was immediately knocked unconscious.
