Sector B

It was startling. Hard to believe that a day similar to the dark days of The Two Year War was happening for real. Driving carefully down the empty stretch of highway, he turned on the radio to enlighten the mood. But all he hears is a loud screech. Not even the radio stations work. He sighs, looking around in the cabin, seeing how most of his passengers were sleeping soundly in the stormy weather, except for Shane. All yet to have a cold with the heater blasting at max. He then looks up to see Victor's robot slightly ahead, still not going that fast.

That machine is really taking a toll on him. Victor always claim that he needed a system similar to a famed newtype system. So he went to that company for help. But as Victor cruises on, he always wondered its side effects. They claimed it was a success, but he doubts it otherwise. By fitting on a huge helmet attached to huge wiring and a system they claimed was the Heighten Physical and Mental Body Awareness System, told to him as HPMBA system, it supposed to allow the pilot to sense and control his robot and other devices at a heightened and faster level, like a newtype, helping the pilot to function his machines like one. But judging from his time he had with Victor, the mental stress seemed to have made him remorseless. Though maybe later on, more side effects may appear. He looks on, worried for the pilot as he turns to check if the portal was intact. It was.

It felt amazing how he managed to discover a portal in the most simplest way possible. It's impossible that such a thing happens. But then again, nothing is impossible. He continues to drive on for an hour till he hits a huge checkpoint. It was the end of the highway, and the start of the area of conflict between Sector A and B. They all want to claim the river between it, for resources. But the true reason for such a border conflict was for Sector A to bully Sector B out of submission. But he fears that it is for something more sinister. After all, that was why he opted to join the newly formed group. He finally makes it to the checkpoint where two disciplined guards eager for action as they stretched their arms in the made up shelter in the heavy rain.

"Hello Hacksaw! Why are you here? Especially with a bunch of group members and a guy..." The man looking a Derek, wondering why he was in the van.

"We need to see Alfred now. The Light of Men has just fallen and the items we have now are significant to defeating it. Just that we need more time."

The man looked at his partner, both uncertain of his statement until they receives a repeated message from their own walking talkies.

"The Saxophone plays loud squeals"

Their eyes widened as they let him passed. Victor seemingly behind him, both stuck at the border as they make it into the jungle, the van hopping uncontrollably. Waking everyone in the van up (except for Sergio) as they finally made it to a makeshift barracks. Port L Lambeths and Port W Nexuses seemingly moving about as Alfred looks on.

"Sir the situation is dire!" Leroy calls out to him. The van stopping right in front of him as he gets out, confused by his unresponsiveness. He taps him on the shoulder when he flinched, scrambling back for safety as Baku spots engineers in the far distance, turning around to face them. All had glowing green eyes. She freaks out as she gets out of the van. Making Maximilian a little pleased with the newfound space. Watching the man wearing a Lieutenant uniform morphed into a black goopy creature with human proportions, turning around to face them, his back now scored a bits and pieces from what looks like Caze's computer. Lyx. It glares at them with fury, levitating as the goop latched on onto the Ports and a Jet Parker in the area. Morphing into a monster even larger than life.

Shane quickly get out from the now open back door of the van to confront the thing, launching it into a nearby building, causing it to collapse.

He was hoping close combat won't happen. After all, his car was expensive to build. He frantically driven the van to one side, watching Baku quickly incinerated the engineers one by one. All rushing to maul them. Shao Lin gets out through the passenger window. Derek squealing in pain as she nearly crush his legs, launching a huge tidal wave of saltwater as it crashed down on the infected troops and headed to maul the group. The troops in Sector B looked on from their side, confused and fearful.

Victor, who has finally gotten the memo on what was going on immediately attacked the group of Port W Nexuses and ready to destroy him. Sylvie looks on worried as he activated the system once more. The funnels launched out in droves to defend itself. They were holding on well with Lyx being held back by Shane. As Baku shot down some more engineers and less than stellar people with special powers, all infected with the same black blob, she hears a weakening cry. Who would be whimpering right now, unless...

She moves ahead to find a huge medical building, its walls reeked of onion and dead plants with now more infected people trying to rush her. As she takes them down. Her left eye caught a soul crushing sight in the basement. Alfred staring out, badly injured and terribly weak. He was unlike himself. He have been tortured and brutally beaten with large infected scars and wounds. He had been trapped under the medical facility in an isolated cell in the basement. The only window of the cell was nothing but fake dreams of freedom. It sickened her.

She immediately raised up the dirt as it went flying sky high, rushes to grab the frail man as his wounds were heard sagging, struggling to walk out of the deep pit. She makes her way back, carrying him by his arms as the people in the car looks on in disbelief. Hanson gets out from the front seat to accommodate him, flies still buzzing around the living wreck.

Hanson turns behind to see Shane now being kicked back as Lyx laughed, "Your demise is inevitable. Stop resisting and give me that chip. Your resistance is making me laugh too much." Shane stubbles back as the group realized they were surrounded.

Looking up, she sees Victor and Sylvie seemingly not knowing of their plight, continuing to fight the hoard of Port W Nexuses as their backup, a bunch of brand new KEMP W Nexuses and regular HUV EVA units, made to look like Eva Unit 2s in the Evangelion Franchise. All with utilitarian paint jobs and jet packs as they fired upon them with their machine guns. Showering the ground with bullets.

Lyx hands glowed, pulling the Attec Speeder down into the ground with its assisted funnels all exploding simultaneously. They too were now pinned.

Lyx laughed. The heroes looked on breathless. They finally have no escape now and with then soon gone, the world is finally his. Derek cursed. Why did he agreed to go on such a journey. He was hoping for some revenue, finally gaining a better life for once, not sitting in a corner and die. Max covered his mouth, asking him to shut up as his saliva spit all over his hand. Above, the machines stared down upon the group. Their gun barrels pointing directly at their targets, watching for the final moment of their absence.

Baku was upset, she would not want to accept her fate like this. And yet there they were, dead like the others. She knew the others would surrender. But as a young, twenty year old cyborg, she would not allow it. She raised her cannons at Lyx, praying for one shot.

"Shriek!!!"

The noise was painful to listen, their heads seeing all sorts of cursed imagery. Lyx intimidated by this immediately orders for the targets to be killed, but just like the group, it was disoriented.

Baku struggles to move. Her body fizzing from the loud frequencies. Since when did they have such a weapon for the conflict? She remembered in the book how similar weapons were illegal after the war. Unless...

"Is that... a Basser?"

She looks through her custom microscopic eye, spotting a rather camouflaged robot similar to King Kong, a revered mythical ape. It was the first machine from the Furioria Types made not based of the designs found on Around it's bulky arms and chests were filled with audio, all made to ruin soldiers day.

It blast the music loud pinning them down for once. Lyx shrieked, it is unable to close in on the invisible threat.

"Sir it is time!"

Lyx shrieked as he discovers the robot all crashing down and exploding in the sky. Through the clouds, a 'red comet' zipped through the sky. Baku gazed around it closer, discovering how it looked similar to a Nomadic warrior, with it's large but sleek set of armor and just like the other mobile suits she had seen in the conflict with Sector B, featuring a mono-eye camera head. It's back was now fitted with a large jet pack, shaped to look like wings as it elegantly flew around, shooting at the surrounding troops with it's own bazooka and a set of large shards, each featuring it's own mini guns and jet engines, evading aerial fire from surface-to-air missiles as all of their weapons were neutralized.

Lyx was furious and began to cast them down with green light, somehow forgetting that the other group was still there. Shane quickly catapults it off in the air, turning the water from the lake rising and quickly engulfing it in a water tornado. Shao Lin assisted her, causing it to struggle to breathe as the 'red comets' finally landed. With the Attec Speeder now freed, Victor and Sylvie looked surprised at the machine, wondering why Sector B would help them.

"Quickly onto the van!" A voice shouts from the machine as it carried the van onto its palm. Bringing everyone to safety. The Attec Speeder following suit as Shane and Shao Lin launched themselves into the air.

They creating their own tornado, spanning all the way towards space as the storm worsened, landing on the Revel Type machine with glee. They watched as the water tornado escalates, Lyx once again sent flying, and fuming at it's mistake. Staring at the fleeing the group, attempting to use it's power again. But they were too fast and too far.

They had escaped.

Shane and Shao Lin quickly jumped from robot to robot as they landed on its palm, entering the van with a high five.

It took about another forty-five minutes before they saw their first buildings. More of the buildings here was less tall and had more old fashioned styling compared to Sector A with slums all around the hills. But it seemed they have been living pleasantly with a gorgeous beach nearby. Reminding Shane of her time as a child, before she was sent there. Goofing about with her brothers at the Junkyard free from any worry. Through the murky clouds, a large tall gorgeous building emerged. It looked very similar to the building in sector A, except the paint seemed to be wearing off, an eerie sight in the storm. Grey concrete flowed from the fence up to the top of the building. Lush flora tangle down the windows, impressing them with its greenery. As they landed on the front yard, seemingly without a garden and used for walks up to the building, a figure with an umbrella and his royal guards flanking him all waiting to greet them. Gesturing them to follow him down the basement.

The mono-eyed machine place them down carefully as they took off, ushering the Gundam to follow them up to a hangar in the building.

"Welcome, you must be cold from your estranged battle. Come in have a seat. Especially you, you little knight and darling."
