Senses

She stares with sorrow into the void. Completely darkened by the exploitation and perverting of Science. Her pride laid shattered, sunk beneath the waves and almost the verge of drowning. Oh how did she not come to her senses. Her true failure, her ego. All she got to cry upon is at herself, her ridiculous blunder as she watches herself tied up upon many wires and medical equipment. All attached to her in rather gruesome ways. But then again, she was probably looking just as terrible, torn apart by the same weapon she used.

She looks down onto her body parts. All vital organs miraculously saved with most of her armor taking a large brunt of damage. Burnt and chipped, completely unrecognizable as they continued to corrode under the fluids, still leaking despite a lot of patching up. All her legs were basically torn apart. Amongst all sorts of circumstances, what could she do? She failed to stop the man herself. Her promise to her parents broken, shattered onto the carnivorous landscape. All thanks to a corrupted man and a greedy business. As she looks into the abyss with sorrow, the morbid silence and loud beeps of inhaling and exhaling were broken. Filled with footsteps of hope from a man who entered the basement.

"Stop looking so sad, he is after all dealt with," Derek comforted her as she turns away. Trying to swipe him with her hair, only to realize she doesn't have the strength to do it.

"Why should I not? He was-" she shouts back at him as he clasped his hands against her mouth, breaking at her constant sense of perfection. Covering her mouth full of denial and depression caused by her own obstacle.

"Gone. Stop being in denial. Everyone knows it, even you! No one is going to hate you for your loss! No one!" He immediately points at the pile of envelopes with heart shaped and large fonts of 'Well Wishes' found on a makeshift table. Staking so much that it was an anthill compared to the other envelopes belonging to the other girls. He continued, "See? They are all cheering for you! So stop ridiculing yourself. No one is born with the perfect beauty of goddesses or the strength of gods! Not even me!"

She slumps downwards, tearing up at the sight. The wires barely able to hold itself together. No one has been here for this, all she ever wanted was to be the best girl of her family. She doubts even her family would like to see her so bitterly torn up to pieces.

"My family won't like that. To be so broken..." she looks away as Derek clasped her head once again, raising Leroy's eyebrows. "Just like your family. I read about it, your family was gone. But they aren't as perfect as you think they are. In fact, you should strive to be the best at who you are. You are already beautiful," he smiled back warmly as more tears flowed out. Her cheeks flushing hotter than the red sun.

"I... never... heard anyone say that to me..." she looks back with listlessness while Derek pats her on the back, "then let me be the first."

Her tears escalated, crying with sorrow as Derek comforted her in his arms. Sylvie looks at them, sighing. She has seen a lot of relationships. Most all ending bitterly. But with this, she hopes it went the other way. It was about time Baku learnt her lesson and stop being so prideful.

Though she couldn't feel the same about Leroy. It turned out his relationship then and his escape was all for naught. Always linked in the family even though they had yet to know then. She thinks of him working with Ambar, trying to put his mind off the mess that is now the truth of his childhood. As claimed by the assistant now that he was arrested. She doesn't even know if the details were true.

She sighs, only relieved by the lack thereof of Baku complaining about everyone and anyone, with Sebastian's plan proving to be a success. The fear that she may lose her job soon was taking hold, considering they were mostly part of the program. Unfortunately only Victor and Baku can smile for their pasts are sealed. What was hers?

She looks away, cooling herself down before she continues work.

She stares at the electronics, all moving with regularity until a light hiss echos into the rather empty room.

"Don't touch anything man! These equipment are rather fragile!"

Derek moves away, looking back at her with concern as she continued to sob. At least she only has to worry about her and not the other two. Her parts should be arriving soon. She glances up the castle. She knows they are there bickering, though she wonders what it is about.

"No way!"

Victor stares up at the three robots in his wheelchair. All modified with weapons. Robots were only able to be bought by companies and even they were stripped of weaponry. For them to accumulate such weaponry is astounding, but then again, they were a part of the large museum attached to the castle.

But ever since last night, the museum has been off limits. It may even be the first time that Sebastian finally got to see the robots his father had ordered to be made.

So far he still doesn't know what were their purposes. Just like Shane. The fact that she so suddenly defected to Sector C, convinced everyone to join her and yet again, agree to help Sebastian of all people. The 'acclaimed' son of the most notorious person on the planet. He doesn't even know what she is up to. Only knowing that he is on the ride to escape because of Atsuki and his injuries. Though he definitely feels better after his treatment that was a quarter of the way through.

He doesn't understand, what was so evil about them that she would cause a massive defection with damages made. He shakes his head. He probably would hear the reason why soon. But for now, he needs a robot.

All thanks to her, the gift from The Light of Men is taken away from him and is now on their side. They definitely know of how strong it was. Especially crooked by the abnormal abilities made by that device. As a result, they would definitely use it. But he was hoping for something better. Unlike the three that they have now.

He stares at the three, dusty robots, all attached to a dark hangar covered by foliage by the rocky hills. The hangar was small, cluttered with lots of items such as plaques and mock-up fences. However it is brightly lit enough to see their utilitarian colors.

One was an Evangelion. The first prototype considering it had rather distinct lettering of 'prototype' by its shoulder in faded green camouflage paint and it's name: HUV EVA Unit 00. It was fitted with jet boosters with a rather old rifle, pistol and a gleaming old sword. Sergio would have loved it. Especially when she couldn't obtain her own Evangelion, still stuck in the broken tower of broken dreams.

The other one seemed like a robot from Gun X Sword. Called the Holster of Yesterday, it had grey matte paint with blue highlights and seemed capable of transforming into a sword, just like in the ancient anime itself. However, the machine had abnormally larger rocket engines made obvious by its large bulges and a bright screen like a pilot's helmet for a head, except it was cone shaped. It's the perfect assassin. What made this even more special was how this was Kruger's very own personal machine with all of the usual styling found in the war such as the old flag, a red V on a blue and white stripe, before they surrendered. However sick it was, he definitely knows it was not his cup of tea. He always noted then after the war how the cockpit was through the use of an authenticated bodysuit. With his still sore limbs, he rather be using the third one. Something that he remembered very fondly. The first Revel Type. The 1R7.

It was dark matte blue with metallic white as a secondary color. It had thicker armor with larger jet packs attached to the back and a large head similar to a Gundam RX-78. On it's arm, he carried a rather large gun, a weird looking electromagnetic powered propulsion device with a long open square barrel . Though he wonders if it still working. Otherwise, it had a pair of pistols, two modified pickaxes and a pair of knuckle dusters. It wasn't much, but it should do.

He stares at it as the butler and Sergio walks up to him, though more of a stroll for Sergio who is still sore from her hard impact.

"Are these able to be used?" He asks the man as he rolls his eyes. The questions must have been ridiculous considering he is on a wheelchair. He looks at him, acknowledging his recklessness and probable stupidity that landed him in this place with a infuriated glint in his eyes. But yet he still has to be polite. They were unfortunately uninvited guests. He sighs as he continued,

"Yes. But it must be noted that they are over two decades old, locked up in stasis. They are after all, prototypes of both the Gundam and Evangelion teams then. All brute forces on the field," he shakes his head as Victor nods his head in approval, Sergio rather cheerful by it.

"But in order for them to be used again, they have to be locked out stasis manually-" he explains to them about the machine when Shane arrived into their conversation.

"That's settled!" She passes to him large keys. All to reactivate the machines.

"But they still needed to be tes-" he persuaded, hoping they would give up, but she didn't.

"Look, the conflict begins in two days time. After all, they expect us to be there. Trust us!" She pats him on the back as they stared at the machines. All hoping to move about again.

Alfred is not convinced. As he stares coldly from a corner. He still questions her decisions. Could the people of Sector B be trusted? What if it is for another purpose entirely? She still has not gained his trust. He better watch her. He takes one last look at them as she walks away.
