He looks carefully at his colleagues, all in deep thought from their long flight to Japan through the tiny windows that laid ajar. Comfortable in the cargo plane unlike his chair which creaked under his weight. A sign which he didn't want to hear. Their preparation had led to this. Barely having enough sleep the previous day as they set off. Brought to the machines like prisoners who had killed many souls for a living. An embodiment of grim reapers. Something they had never been or wanted to be.
He looks straight down, watching the remnants of the old lost island of Japan sinking back into the ocean. The broken buildings and cars now a sign of doom. A lesson meant for humans about their gleeful ignorance to life. Once a country marvelled by the world for it's rapid economy and innovation, the super tsunami it had faced then in 2098 had wrecked their economy. Sinking their country literally into a debt it had yet to recover from. Even though most of the country had moved into man made islands, the place they called home was no more. Water continuously surging randomly amongst the high tide as trees swayed violently in the traumatic weather. Urging others to leave. For it was nature's time to return.
Through the rough climate, the bachelor pad laid. Somehow intact from the storm that constantly engulfed the land. He is surprised they even chose the place, let alone made for one of the richest men on earth. His taste for any land vehicle lacking in all regards as well as humanity. Watching happily at the destructive power Earth possessed which may had enticed him further in his work that no one knows off.
There wasn't even a clue as to his reasons for his action. His family loaded from their roles in the Yakuza and he had known to make good business decisions. Helping other businesses in the name of the people. But ever so recently, his tyrannical deeds had gotten too far. His escape had already placed the blame of the new lack of trust from China. The Casino causing over 500 civilian casualties, discounting the thousands of guards lost, meant to assist the bad guys in their deal without the knowledge of Oflip secrets being leaked. Guy had not even told him about the whereabouts of Cthulhu and Pixil. Somehow withholding their knowledge to his favour. He could only swear behind his back in anger and sorrow. Possibly the ones that made Sergio and Shane go berserk. He sighed, unable to convey his thoughts as the machines passed into Japan airspace. Ordered to immediately contact them. For they were waiting.
"Permission to access Japan at speed for a co-op mission!"
"Access granted. Wait for the signal of green light to at your 2 o'clock."
The bored man answered, his English rather fluent and precise. Almost impressive as the abyss of rain and fog blanketing the land, hardly covering a green light spotted through the rain. It's dark silhouettes of light barely grazing the clouds as a squadron of robots and jets emerged from the clouds. Each machine seemed new. Locally made for the sole purpose of the country. It's robots now having a plus signed head. glowing amongst the rubble with their chests similar to the physique of designs from the Revel except for it's circular air vents and it's abysmal spray gun which seemed unfinished, full of rough cuttings and poor quality. As if it was rushed into production in a bid to deal a personal blow.
The jets were however less disappointing to look at. With the war at an end, the weapon limitations treaty had been overturned. Allowing them to make an air force once again. They swarm overhead in unison, flying in formation above him. Showcasing their new bodywork of faded stealth panelling amongst a hawk shaped wing. All of which were loaded with missiles and mini-guns eager for battle amongst a two-seater configuration. A sight to behold, but quite a lot of cash for a simple spat between several armed men.
"Hirohito contacting in. I'm the the captain of the 1st Japan fleet. If you need any assistance you can contact us. But we would acting as your supports for the entirety of the mission. So don't expect much."
Leroy sighs, rather sleepy and irritated by the sounds in the cockpit. A machine he had barely gotten used to. Only able to master the auto-pilot the machine had. He cursed hard in the cockpit, slamming on the console. Rattling the machine which trembled under the crazed weather. It was literally suicide to even attempt. His heart barely skipped a beat. Freaking out further as he sees the target in the distance.
It was a large sized mansion, laid close by on a mountain close to Mount Fuji. It's rectangular shape was obvious from the sky. Barely unable to contain the large hot lap pool which bellowed smoke heavily, sitting pretty high above the waters several metres below. What was not so obvious was the large turreted guns and large missiles which immediately fired. Overwhelmed and outgunned by the large armaments which flew past. Blowing it up with ease. Unlike the dark shadows which covered the sky. A large machine which barely could back it's weapons. He looks up in horror. Watching the dark sky fill what seemed like a head of a Revel Type. It's purple eyes beamed. Looking upon the squadron with glee as it's more horrifying brother looked on in anger. Barely anything like a Revel Type with demonic shoulders and fins which flowed through the air like horns. Hiding it's four amber eyes which beamed at the Unibody. It's targets. He gulped, close to tears at the unbelievably awful sight. It was no doubt the machines the buyer's bought. Behind the two gems, multiple Scheulders and Dachs swarmed around. Paling in comparison to the stars in the room. He snarled, upset at Guy's negligence. The Light of Men had been compromised.
"Guys jump down now! I'll deal wi-"
Leroy ordered through the mike, barely distorted and inaudible for them to hear. Hardly having enough time to speak as the machines as Cthulhu attacked, slamming onto him with a large mace. Seeming glowing with dark power, sparks flying upon it's target. Leroy panted hard, barely having time to spare for a sword. Creaking at the thunderous clash.
"I'm so screwed!!!"
He watched as they jumped from the cargo plane, free falling down into the storm as the rain cut visibility to a minimum. Each drop affecting their vision amongst icy movement. Each bodily movement cold, hardly any comfortable amongst the force pulling them down. Ambar was no better, barely watching himself dropping with his drones. Swarming down carefully as they nearly blew away from the strong winds holding them back. Falling into pieces upon the forceful wind.
He peers closely, lowering his head and attempting to spot his colleagues far ahead who were shocked at the sudden rapid fire. Led charged through the sky recklessly. Barely slashing his ear as he sees Sylvie yelling with excitement.
"Landing spot visible!"
They moved slowly, watching their fingers which barely activated a large boosters to halt. Tearing down at the group of men who strangely held their fire as their colleagues struggled to move away from them in the storm. Slowly burning up from the intense heat in their stubborn spots, falling dead from the flames continuing to rip through their flesh and into the intricately trimmed grass. Scarred forever. Hanson looks on shocked, surprised at how little the man cared of his selfless workers. Watching in horror as their lifeless bodies stared back in the rain. Hardly a compliment in terms of getting onto land.
They dropped their boosters, watching the men scamper back. Their rifles drawn as the rain drowns their fears amongst loud clapping. They could barely see the location of the house. Deceptively large amongst heavy torrents of rain and black. Soaking their clothes which made them shiver at the buyer and his black umbrella, clinging onto his armpits for dear life. Hoping that he won't lose it's grip.
"Bravo! Bravo!" He continued clapping crazily. His glasses gleamed in the darkness maniacally as everyone turned to face him, barely ignoring the landing drones which continued to burn the lifeless corpses as he continued, "You had done well to track me. I'm not surprised. But I'm not impressed. But still you managed to receive a prize!"
He laughed, echoing through the dizzy storm. Emerging through the storm with fiery determination, slamming hard on the ground as the fiery lady and the giant metallic man stared at them, to their snarls and jeers. Watching their next attempt in their worthless life.
"Your opponent shall be us! Again."
