Confrontation

The machine grumbled, spraying the dirt and dust around it in the egregious heat that blasted through the trees, swaying violently to the wild animal's annoyance. Watching the dead leaves eject in all directions amidst the grime and smoke that blurred their vision. Scared and confused from their arrival.

"You know you guys are seriously foolish? I mean the moment the entire empire dies you guys point the gun at each other! That is hilarious!"

The robot looked upon the group, seemingly laughing upon it's own accord. Hardly the voice that came from the pilot. Wrestling for control and smashing the the touchscreen with his bare fists. Hardly cracking the new equipment and putting some insight to the surprise intruder in the system. Still rumbling about in a fake robotic voice that made the situation even more cringy and tense. Victor fumed, rapidly losing his patience and sweating buckets. Itching from the tight outfit that he rushed to get into amongst the dimming screens that seemed to looked away as he is a passenger.

"Look Eddy! We can deal with this later!" If we do this now, we will kill each other in the process again!"

The man pleaded at the joker hidden in the cockpit. Peering right by the group who watched stunned at the change of heart. Hardly the target the group wanted to convince in the first place but still quite the hurdle. A hurdle that didn't listen and hardly cared. Cold and bitter from his appearance in the first place. Frightened by it's rebirth despite the lack of knowledge of his maker. Still asleep and ignorant. Blissfully by the bed from his work.

"SO WHAT! YOU AND YOUR STUPID TEAM KILLED ME AT ONE POINT! WHY SHOULD I GIVE YOU ANY RESPECT AT ALL! YOU TOOK MY MASTER AWAY! NOW I'M GOING TO TAKE EVERYTHING OUT!"

Without any warning, he raised his rifle at Shane. Clanking it's shell right up to the trigger. Unwilling to let go upon it's green gaze too humanoid to seem like a robot. Furrowing it's eyes with it's twisted grudge and delusion amongst the other clank of the trigger by his head. Slightly lurched forward and left without any options on the modified barrel that curled upon it's sight. It turned it's head, carefully watching the U-shaped head silently glaring upon the machine with disappointment. A brother knowing how a brat still lived in it's heart. Unwilling to change.

"If you really so demand it, I will make sure you won't get such a chance. So don't think I won't do it. This also applies to you Sylvie."

He turned to look at the crazed girl, just as busy as Victor with her own set of problems. Silently losing her sanity by the minute. Her face feels different from the usual presence. Condescending to something he feared.

Was it because of her transformation? He could only gulp at such a possibility. Watching her slip away from the group and her confused fans only seemed to make it worse for everyone. It had already been a troubling time to deal with her. Hardly any sleep from her actions and the paperwork he had to constantly fill. Everyday the fine they had to fill seems to slowly increase away from his hands, floating to new heights he could only be horrified to see. He pants, sighing from his newfound, difficult position with the white devil lowering his gun. Still slightly tense in posture but pissed in it's own forceful surrender amongst it's eyes which returned to it's original position.

"Energy Breaker. You are under arrest for damage to government property, conspiring a riot, corruption, breaking out of prison and the innocent deaths of dozen of men and women!"

He watched Ambar step out into the light and immediately cuffed her despite her resisting in sorrow. Frustrated how he seemed uncaring. His soul seemingly lifeless and sucked dry by the people he worked under. Something his original leader would be saddened to see. Staring right by in the shadows, swallowing her pride in the abyss.

"Didn't I already said how they did this to me! They were attempting to kill me for no reason! This wasn't even part of the book!"

She stared at him, hoping he would see it. But through the words in his mouth. She could only feel helpless upon the drones that clamped into her legs, drilling upon the stagnant ground which rumbled. Filling her tingling legs with dust and old concrete which hardly stood the test of time in front of Atsuki and her gang which stood disappointed and their jaws ajar.

"Orders are orders."

He took out his wrist watch, filled with smudges and scratches. Used heavily amongst it's sticker which laid partially visible at the wrist, struggling to stick amongst it's constant use and reuse amongst the organisation staff. It's rather unusually large projection showcased a man by his chair in a rather empty office. Barely anything to be proud off despite his high position with his stupid punchable face and highly irritating voice. Something Shane could not stand.

"We got the targets. What do we do now?"

He looked at his master stoically, his eyes tired and fluttering away from his previous duel. Scarred and determined. Hoping the start of his new exercise regiment would help despite all of his flabs that jiggled from his tense mood. Only saving his sanity with his dark blue shirt which barely revealed his terrible physique. Looking away from the thinking man as he stared back at the screen.

"Yes... Call in the reinforcements. They would be dealt with later."

At that very moment, he seemed to move back from his seat, attempting to stretch himself until the abrupt slam of furniture from afar glitched the screen. It trembled, shaking up the monitor to reveal the glassy, futuristic London city. It's buildings sky high and prosperous. Hardly the life in the cities of their homeland with their bright lights and stagnant old architecture that laid still in peace. Still prideful yet comfortable from the war. Picking up it's pieces quickly and stronger than ever.

Ambar looks back at the man he once answered to. Now filled with the darkness that probably consumed her colleagues. Hardly thinking properly amongst the group of confused people that stared clueless at what was going on.

"Care to explain who you really are?"

Shane watched, seething at their stupidity and blindness. Hopelessly working for a useless man who seemed caught up without his trousers, scampering along carelessly and sweating at his rather grave mistake. Foolishly holding his power amongst the people up sky high in the governance. Hoping to take anything else after all they had done to save everyone. Behind him, a man slowly wandered in, attempt to take the monitors away from his magic trick, hardly hiding his face in his sluggish work amongst the stunned Shao Lin who looked on shocked his face.

"STRONGARM WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"

She shouts through the small projection, capturing Ken's attention as he looks up unamused. adjusting his bow tie which began to slouch onto one side, pushing away the anxious man in his chair as he stared blankly into the screen.

"Yes? I had always been from the M16. Why?"

She laid stunned, furious at how causally he said his words. Crunching her knuckles upon the cracks through the exasperated silence. Hardly understanding what was going on through the fog. She looked on outside, thinking about the lonely Silvia who wasted so much time, only to be left alone even during her passing. Her wasted life, putting her false faith on an impostor this whole time.

"H-H-How... We did everything and this is what you have been doing. W-W-What is wrong with you... We had suffered so much and this is how you treat us..."

She looks at the man she once trusted. Horrified at his cold expression amongst his listless, unfeeling eyes that peered back at the man who began to shake his head. Laying by his chair, watching hysterically at his job.

"What is wrong with that huh? Haven't you heard? These funds had already been used as investment in your organization! These funds are benefiting your country as a whole!" Sylvie looked on, her killer senses tingling upon the touch of her wrist. Searching up the touch pad at the sights of the investment chart. Now rising in price upon the headlines of their 'play of the game'. Unfocused upon her sights. Still seething in curiosity at the man in the cockpit this whole time.

"We basically run your country now, what did you expec-"

He looked at them with glee. His master plan a success, there was nothing they could do. Smiling down upon what seemed like a brand new pistol drawn directly at his head. Utilitarian yet boxy with it's 'Homme Fusil' logo imprinted largely by the grip. Staring back silence by the barrel with newfound defiance.

"But using stolen hedge funds from the UK's and Australia's treasury with the help of their actions is illegal isn't it? You think I didn't know? Guy Nammer? You were also a spy from our division at one point wasn't it? You are a very bad spy for The Association ya know?" He looks at the man, filled with eerie silence at his own drawn pistol, even older than the one he had by in it's still fatal sight as he grunted and retorted beneath his teeth. His words confusing the group who looked at each other. Wondering what he meant whilst he continued,

"So what? The royalty would benefit even more with this. Wasn't the responsibility of the M16 to protect the interest's of the UK from it's own threat? Ken Blumberg?"

He stares back at the infuriated man. Silently amongst his teary eyes that lingered in his eyes. Horrified at the corruption in his comrade as he rides the the thin wires of dwindling time and fate. Unbelievable to himself at the strange oddities during his work, interfering in his own showdown.

"Silvia... what do I do..."
