"Cursed to sleep for eternity and forced to leave the burdens upon my creation. Be grateful she isn't insane enough to go on a constant universal murderous rampage..."
Her hair fluttered freely in the cold atmosphere. Ignorant of the stinging injuries she sustained earlier from her scuffle. Harshly wandering towards Sylvie who stood uneasily in hot sweat. Unable to speak of her perverted stance that surrounded her from behind.
Much of what she said had left her more confused than before. Let alone the fact that the man in the casket can sense her brewing within despite her acting as normally as she could to keep up with appearances. Hopeful not to burden her increasingly concerned colleagues down even if she could only ponder if it is a good idea in the first place. For someone who keeps hidden within the confines of her mind, his knowledge and power was far too strange to ignore. Let alone the circumstances that forced him into this location.
"Why does he know you exist?"
Her mumbled consumed her in thought, blinding her from the dark silhouette behind her. Grazing her chin amid a warm breath that sprinkled her with saliva. Rattling her in disgust. Less inclined in answering her question and more interested in finding more interesting ways to exploit her.
"Stop that!"
Sylvie pushed her aside, dusting off her chin in disgust whilst criticising her unhinged alternate self. Hateful and disturbing. She gritted her teeth, annoyed at how she is still amused at her weak presence after all of the insults and persuasive taunting throughout her probation.
"I made a deal with you to follow the rules I told you earlier on but your interference had ruined a lot of things!"
She giggled, unable to keep it together. Laughing maniacally and dashing out of view, stunning Sylvie who is pinched down forcefully by the throat with just one finger. Smashing her down upon the hollow floor which kicked out dark debris sky high and hiding the choking of blood spewing from her mouth. Gargling in surprise at the unreal pain she is experiencing in an existence far from her own.
"So what?! All humans come to die after all! The only appreciation is their disillusion to the ever growing meritocracy that struggled to gain control after the outcome of the war! Blowing through resources just to keep the illusion of an strong economy alive."
Sylvie screeched in pain, struggling to move from her spot from the intense firmness of her fingernails piercing through her skin in red. Kneeling close on one knee with bated breath. Her hand trembled uneasily, moving stiffly and feebly, grabbing her arm in retaliation in an attempt to push her firm fingers away from her throat. Gritting her red teeth and struggling to speak.
"B-But much of them are just as lost as us! J-Just some don't deserve their time on earth compared to others..."
Ashlyn cackled, pinning her down with even more force as Sylvie began to gasp for air. Fading in and out of consciousness without any ability to speak off in the dark void Ashlyn ruled. Desperately attempting to use more force without her powers to speak. A pitiful sight which delighted her.
"Oh you don't say! You are a massive contributor in this you know? Don't shirk your responsibility in this!"
She forces her finger down on her further, listening to the sound of weak gasping of blood splattering into the darkness. Firmly pressing down further upon her weakening grasp with killer determination. Sylvie looks directly at Ashlyn with desperation, frightened by the creature invading and infecting her mind. Choking of any hope in escaping what was a god with nothing but a crumbling dark road to wander on.
Her hand faltered, relenting at her threat with futile resistance with fluttering red eyes. Feeling her dirty finger plunge deeper into her throat as she crackled tearfully in defeat. Awaiting her punishment she was forced to receive.
"T-True."
The monster laid still. Unwavering in the cold breeze grazing her hair, sniffing the smell of blood which trickled down her finger. Blankly staring away with a dark expression. Sylvie looks up, peering deep towards her face covered by her fringe, hiding her mouth slowly smirking with satisfaction. Releasing her from her strong grip as she flicks her blood aside. Ignorant of the sounds of choking and the stiff movement of limbs. Weak and feeble.
"Congratulations. You passed the test. Though I'm disappointed you couldn't fight back despite all you had."
Ashlyn looks away from Sylvie, struggling to get up on her feet. Barely able to cover her wounds and her now hoarse voice. Crackling from her damaged vocal cords which continued to trickle out blood. Stammering away from the creature which torn apart her trust and dignity. Assaulting and defiling her already weak heart. A curse she would forever have to endure and never forgive even if she begged for it.
"W-Why tell me this? W-Why did you even inhabit me let alone provide me with such power..."
Sylvie staggered away, fearful of the monster wandering towards her slightly apologetic Petting her on the head as if nothing was wrong. Her heart trembled, feeling the lady ruffle her hair and place her hands down, covering her own in an evangelical red glow. Sealing her swelling wounds up with easing calmness.
She stuttered back, giddy and uneased at her posture. Touching her spotless wounds that now stood out from the dried trickle of blood around her neck. Mystifying her thoughts at her decision. She signs, humming at varying tones, checking her vocal cords which altered indifferently as she had once before. Unchanged and unruffled.
"You are one of the most flawed individuals capable of pulling this off. That to her and to me is enough to ground you rights to this ability. To be honest, the fact she trusts you now make me wanna cry!"
She begins to weep fake tears that echoed in the darkness, infuriating her with an unamused scoff. Agitating her stiff movement as she clenched her fists, letting herself go with sarcastic annoyance.
"W-Wow. T-That the first time you said something nice to me! You trying to flatter me?"
She sneered at Ashlyn who giggled uneasily, patting her head with glee as she shot back with a condescending smirk.
"Nah. Just trying to fix your ego. After all, it isn't as if you had any to begin with!"
She looks to her direction, looking down by her chest as she blushed at her realisation. Hiding her emotions beneath her fringe with rage.
"HEY! YOU PERVERTED MONSTER!"
Sylvie yelled back in a fit of pique from at Ashlyn grabbed her by the head and stuck herself in place. Amusing herself at the girl who struggled to move from her spot. Yelling like a child without her parent. Ashlyn groaned, grabbing her forcefully by the shoulder and laying down on the ground once again, ignorant of what she had just done earlier.
"Are you ready? Gaia's blessing shall reign true! The keys are yours."
Without being able to say anything, she feels her body sink down through the void. Falling further away from the madwoman with fluttering eyes, watching the darkness around her swallow her whole against her shrieks and screams. Snapping her awake immediately from her fleeting moment on Cthulhu's palms.
"Whoa there! You alright?"
She turns to look at the machine starring with confusion. Unamused at her screaming like the Pixil and Unibody nearby. Listlessly watching the dozen of aliens surround them at lightning speed, encroaching onto their antics. The pilots knocks on the control panel, calling upon Leroy on voice call as he ignores her blushing cheeks. Eager for his prize.
"Hacksaw does this count?"
He listens with glee, amazed at how easy it is to gain two amazing prizes. Glinting upon the monitor filled with aliens readying their spiky spears. Frustrated at their arrogance amongst the empowered crowd. Spectators who had seen nothing of their antics and their close proximity to victory.
"Umm yeah..."
He sighs, placing his hand by his head. Gritting his teeth at his carelessness, underestimating their worth as amateur pilots of a mech. Thinking of the possibility of his retrenchment if they lived to tell the tale. He slams on the armrest, frustrated at how he had fooled himself once again. Perhaps the thing he needed most was more lessons regarding decision making.
He slouches by his chair, nudging his glasses beneath his sweat as the sounds of knocking on his shoulder armour grew increasingly louder, alerting him to Baku on his right, ruffled with her hands crossed. Staring into the cameras with her guns raised towards his cockpit.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?"
Her guns drew closer to the cockpit door, leaning past the camera and nudging the door frame. Listening to the muffled descent of frustration unlike her friends stuck in a slimy bubble. Disgusted at their mode of travel and tired of their endeavours.
"OH COME ON! TRUST ME ON THIS O-"
At this very moment, warning sirens deafened the cockpit. Alerting him to the monitors filled with flying spears that turned the sky black. It's speed far faster than he expected, hardly able to be seen in the naked eye if not for the cameras in place. He quickly scrolls to his guns, firing back in succession alongside Baku and Atsuki but their numbers were far too much and far too fast.
"TIGHTROPE EMO NEIN!"
The large spears halted in their tracks glowing in purple as their immediately disintegrate to pieces, stunning the group with a spectacle of purple lightning. Alerting the aliens who stood frightened at the cloud of terror. Firing everything they had despite the invisible barrier standing in their way. Reporting of their existence and desperate to find his weaknesses.
"Tightrope Emo Quarter!"
In one bright flashes of purple lightning, the machines torn asunder. Too fast for their pilots to react at it's thunderous appearance. Tearing itself into pieces and exploding into giant balls of inferno. Igniting the forests and tearing the sky asunder in the blink of an eye. Ignorant of the individuals watching grumpily at his raw power. Annoyed they had to waste five hours of their time and effort to retrieve two giant robots despite their overwhelming advantage with him tagging along.
"So these are the machines?"
The man stood floating in front of him, lazily watching the fiery scenery which crumbled beneath his strength. Slowly coming to his senses at the new world he lives in. A far cry from his past.
"Umm yeah. Can I trust your word?"
At that moment, a purple ball of energy rose up in the air, clearing itself of the alien creature in his possession. Watching uneasily at the fiery mess in the distance, burning throughout the war torn city that was Sector A, still filled with the old machines uncleared from the previous conflict. Tearing apart from their bullet wounds as they became nothing more than the debris they sat alongside.
"Let not wallow now! Time to rock and roll!"
