After defeating Arlong and his crew, Cer and Sid didn't stay and immediately left the area. But before that, Nojiko and the people of the Cocoyashi Village express their heartfelt gratitude towards them for defeating Arlong.
"Nami will definitely be fill happy knowing that Arlong and his crew are defeated" Genzo solemnly said as he stared at the pirate ship in the distance.
"Wait, where did Nami go all this time?"
"I also don't know, maybe she was still doing that kind of things" Nojiko replies. Her eyes didn't leave the silhouette of the pirate ship. Their meeting might be very short, but it gave a big impact on her life. Especially when she remembers the confident young man.

A few days later, the news of the Arlong Pirates defeat spread into the whole East Blue. As Arlong was one of the powerful pirates in the said sea, his defeat brought great shock to everyone. What more the one who defeated him was a new pirate group called 'Cerberus Pirates'.
The marines wouldn't even know the Cerberus Pirates were the ones who defeated Arlong and his crew if they didn't encounter them at the sea. At that time, a marine battleship was destroyed and sunk at the bottom of the sea. What surprised the marines is that there are only two members for this Cerberus Pirates.
The Captain 'Cer' who is known to have eaten a mythical type zoan devil fruit, the Inu Inu no Mi: Model Cerberus. While the other member was Sid who was considered as the vice-captain and the doctor of the crew. It was recorded that he utilized different types of tools when fighting. And each of that tool contains a combination of toxic substances which is extremely dangerous.
Meanwhile, at the Cerberus Pirate ship, the two were holding wanted posters in their hands with a smile on their faces. Because the wanted posters had their picture in them.
This is their first bounty since the two became a pirate.

The Cerberus Pirates started to head towards their next destination. Cer wanted to see the place where the Pirate King Gol D. Roger was executed. He knew that he needed to see that place before he went out towards the Grand Line.

From the flag that hangs in that pirate ship, it was the Cerberus Pirates who defeated the Arlong Pirates and destroyed one of our marine battleships!" a young woman with short hair reported. The name of the woman was Tashigi and she was a Master Chief Petty Officer of the marines.
Sitting on his chair with smoking two cigars on his mouth, Smoker was the marine captained stationed in Loguetown. "Another pirate who wanted to enter the Grand Line. I will capture them and end their journey as a pirate"
After blowing a cloud of smoke from his mouth, Smoker stood up and said, "Prepare our men, we have a pirate to capture"
"Yes! Captain Smoker!" Tashigi saluted before running out of the room.
Meanwhile, Cer and Sid finally arrived at the Loguetown. Unlike any other places they have been, this place is the most lively and populated. Maybe it was because this was the place where the Pirate King born and died, that many people were in this place.
Not long after the two walks several meters from the dock, a series of hurried footsteps rang out. After that, multiple marines arrived in the area and surrounded them.
"Looks like they've prepared a warm welcome for us," Cer said looking at the marines surrounding them.
"Cerberus Pirates! Cer and Sid, surrender yourself now and be brought to justice. You don't have any chance of escaping this place!" from the crowd of marines, Smoker appeared with Tashigi standing beside him with her sword drawn.
"Marine Captain Smoker and glasses woman, although I feel quite happy for the warm welcome you've given to us. I will need to disappoint you that I won't accept your invitation" Cer speaks in sarcasm, "How about this, you and your subordinates will leave us alone and the Loguetown will be quiet and peaceful"
Smoker's face hardened when he heard Cer's words, with an indifferent tone he said, "Are you threatening me, pirate? Unfortunately, I don't listen to the words of a pirate like you"
"Arrest them!" Tashigi at the side immediately shouted and the marines they brought with them all attack the two.
"You take the left, while I take the right" Cer said to Sid.
"As you said," Sid said while he took out several small bottles from his pouch. "Marine dogs, I will let you experience something you didn't experience in your whole life"
"Haa!" Tashigi shouted as she slashed her sword towards Cer.
"Hua, you glasses girl be careful. Don't swing such a dangerous thing in front of me. What would you do if you cut me" Cer effortlessly dodges Tashigi's attack. Each time he dodged, he would say things to her.
"That's what I've been trying to do, to cut a pirate like you" getting irritated by Cer constantly dodging her attacks, she said, "Why don't you fight back?"
"Since you wanted me to fight back, then prepare yourself" clenching his fist, Cer punches towards Tashigi with great momentum.

When she saw the incoming punch, Tashigi felt a crisis coming from the punch so she wanted to avoid the attack. But she was still a step too late, she just closes her eyes waiting for the punch to come. Seconds later, the punch still didn't come so she opens her eyes. She saw in front of her was her Captain Smoker blocking the punch with his jutte.
" Tashigi step back for now. You're not his opponent" Smoker said while glaring towards the pirate in front of him. His hands were shaking because of the impact of the punch. He knew in this short trade that Cer's strength was higher than his.
'I can't defeat him in terms of raw strength. I can only rely on my devil fruit ability if I want to defeat him' Smoker thought and his body suddenly transformed into white smoke and covered the area.
