Phos gets into trouble....... Again*Fixed*

Phos lunges forward grabbing both of Antarc's legs in fright, at the sudden screeching caused by the Floes. Antarc finishes smashing the remaining Ice Floes for the day then gets ready to head back to school.

---------------Time skip---------------

Sensei is listening to Phos's and Antarc's report about today's tasks while Rain lingers in the background, listening to the report as well since it was interesting learning that Phos could understand the Ice floes and since Rain knew it was only a matter of time before something bad happened they made sure to pay extra attention.

"you can understand the words of the ice floes..."

"I can vaguely remember being able to talk to things in the ocean"

"I know! How about I get friendly with the ice floes and convince them to quit screaming!"

Sensei come from behind the desk and pats Phos on the head while still talking.

Sensei goes to pat Antarc on the head while they give their report as well.

"Phos has been keeping up better than I thought he would"

"I know it cannot be done, but I just wish his arms were as powerful as his legs"

"hahah... Careful of what you wish for Antarc"

"Ugh... Rain how long have you been here!?"

"For a while now I just wanted to hear the report is all I'm going back to the medic corner now, come see me if you need anything"

Phos is crouched sawing at an ice floe while looking at her hand and talking to herself, being self-conscious about herself once again thanks to Antarc making herself an easy target for the Ice floes to attack.

"The same... As my legs...."

Phos lifts her blade up to her arm with thoughts of self-harm but comes back to herself quickly throwing the thought out.

*shake*

"No, no what am I thinking... Rutile and Rain told me there aren't any more replacements..."

Phos looks around for the voice that spoke to her, as she looks at a hole in the ice.

The ice floe succeeding in its evil plan to eat Phos's arms gets her to start crawling towards the opening in the ice, as she is about to stuff her hand into the hole she pulls her arm back not noticing the new dropoff that showed up behind her.

"No no no"

"I can't do something like that"

*Slip*

Her hand slips off the edge causing her to fall back into the freezing cold water behind as she goes arms first causing a large pillar of water to shoot up into the air gaining the attention of Antarc who is about to strike down another Floe.

"PHOS?!"

Antarc rushes towards Phos's location dragging her out of the water before she sinks deeper in, pulling her up Antarc notices that Phos's arms are missing as water drips off where her arms used to be, Antarc stares with shock evident on his face.

"Your"

"Arms..."

Antarc still holding Phos looks at the opening in the ice then drops her and dives into the freezing sea to try and retrieve Phos's missing arms, he dives stopping to look around for the little gems arms not seeing them he moves forward but evades nearly being crushed between two large pieces of ice, he grabs onto another piece getting his hand chopped off at the wrist quickly grabbing it before it's turned into powder by more ice as he dives down deeper.

He looks down.

"Gone"

He looks to the left.

"Gone"

He looks to the right.

"Gone"

He looks up.

"Gone"

Antarc sinks to the seafloor stunned by the fact that Phos's arms are nowhere to be found gone lost forever in the vast sea, with this realization he swims back to the surface picking Phos up with his remaining arm and walking back to the school in defeat to give his report to Sensei.

After 10 or so minutes of walking, they finally arrive at the school both standing in front of Sensei and Rain, Sensei stare in shock at Phos while Rain has a 'I told you so look' since she knew something bad was bound to happen at some point.

"Phosphophyllite's arms have been lost"

"It was my mistake, I apologize"

Phos looks at Antarc in shock.

"It was my fault, no matter how you look at it, so..."

Sensei in his shock drops his pencil while still looking at Phos.

*Tighten* Antarc Grips their broken arm tight in frustration.

"I searched everywhere I could, but..."

Antarc turns around and starts to run off to search for Phos's arms once more but it stopped by Sensei.

"It's because of my lack of caution"

"No"

"It's because I'm not used to working with someone. I got careless"

"I've never failed like this before, so..."

"I didn't know what to do..."

Antarc starts shaking and falls to his knees tightly holding onto Sensei's sleeve, Sensei bends over and picks Antarc up embracing them as Phos rushes forward trying to make lite of a bad situation but ends up failing.

"This isn't the first time I've failed like this"

"so don't worry about it..."

"I'M GONNA WORRY!"

"Well"

"Um"

"Look"

"It'll work out somehow. like my legs did"

Sensei looks at Phos in doubt.

"If I recall correctly, we have no material that suits you"

Phos sweat drops at this statement.

"... Yeah..."

"Do you know what you ought to do?"

"I dunno. All I can do is throw up my hands and give up I bet my literal hands are being thrown up by the ocean somewhere right now too-"

Sensei pats Phos on the head while still holding the shaking Antarc.

Sensei retracts his hand.

"Go search the beach of beginnings"

"Huh?"

Phos points their nub of an arm up.

"Where's that again?"

Antarc looks at them while still hugging Sensei's shoulder.

"The southwest beach... You've lost so much of your memory..."

"Ah, Sensei can I go with them? I want to collect some spare parts for Paparacha"

"If that's ok"

"Yes that is fine"

"The beach of beginnings is where you three were born"

-------Time skip Beach of beginnings---------

Antarc, Rain and Phos are walking down the coastline towards the beach of beginnings, as Antarc gives Phos a crash-course on how they were born.

"Ancient Creatures died in the ocean, became inanimate objects"

"And after wandering the earth for millions of years... they're born"

Rain, Phos and Antarc watch as a 1/3 formed gem falls from the cliff of beginnings as they come to a stop a few meters short of where it fell.

"Ah..."

*Crash*

Tons of loose snow is thrust into the air by the impact from the fallen gem as Phos rushes towards it and crouches down next to it.

"It's rare for them to become like us"

Antarc starts unsheathing their sword.

"Most of them fail like that"

"Each of us are educated in these things by Sensei, Receive work as a member of the whole, and arrive where we are now"

"... Do you remember all of that?"

"Hmmm, bits and pieces"

"I see..."

Antarc raises their sword up and swings it horizontally like a bat and blows the snow away uncovering a mountain of fallen gems and alloy letting Phos choose what they want while Rain collects bits and pieces here and there but leaving the large bits for Phos to look at.

"Nothing but gold and platinum... No use"

"No use?"

Phos inches towards a large piece of Gold/Platinum alloy that is sticking up from the sand Antarc goes to pull it out while explaining its quality.

"Gold and Platinum are both extremely soft and malleable"

"And above that, they're too heavy"

Antarc drops the large piece of alloy on the ground with a-

*Thud*

and starts dragging it towards Phos.

"It's useless"

"Ohh"

"And it was just born, too... what a waste..."

Antarc reaches Phos and attaches the alloy to one of the nubs.

"I've fixed it on temporarily"

"I'm going to let go"

The weight of the new 'arm' drags Phos down with a *Thud*

"Whoa!"

"I thought so..."

"However, you're not showing any signs of rejection. It's possible that your inclusions will take a liking to it"

"The problem is its weight... maybe we could hollow out the inside..."

Antarc looks up as the Sun reveals its self from behind the clouds then looks back at Phos.

"Let's take them off for now"

"We're going back"

"Rain! Lets go back now"

"Ok! I'll start heading off first I got quite the nice haul!!"

Antarc looks at Phos only to see them getting engulfed by the alloy, Phos is on both knees as the alloy spreads from their right side to their entire body making them shake.

"I dunno if"

"I can get it off"

A sunspot starts forming behind Antarc as he is too busy looking at Phos's current situation, Phos stretches out as the allow completely engulfs them blocking their view of the outside world.

"What's happening to me, Antarc?!"

"Is it wrapping around me? is it wrapping me up?!"

"H-"

"Hey..."

"What's going on?"

"What's up with this...!"

Antarc turns around just in time to dodge a javelin thrown by the Lunarians as they look in Rains direction and yell out for help "RAIN I NEED HELP!" Rain stops in her tracks and turns around since she is a fair bit away from them its gonna take a little to get to them, Rain drops her haul of epic loot and rushes towards Antarc and Phos, as Antarc engages the Lunarians.

"Sorry..."

"Save it for after you're safe"

------Pov change Sensei------

"To think it would suddenly clear up"

"The beach of beginnings is far"

"I must hurry"

Sensei starts rushing out of the school towards the beach of beginnings but stops because his path is blocked by a sea of Lunarians he charges up an attack.

"You intend to get in my way?"

"No matter how many times you come at me"

"It's useless"

Sensei launches his attack clearing out the Lunarians but the Lunarian smoke converges and restrains Sensei stopping him from moving only for a little while.

"I see"

"This tarp is new"

"It makes me shudder, but no matter what you do"

"It cannot reach me"

Sensei breaks free of the restraints as he proceeds towards the beach.

-------Pov change beach of beginnings---------

Antarc puts up a valiant fight hacking the Lunarians into pieces as rain joins him on the cloud shortly after starting from the side opposite of Antarc hacking and slashing her way through to Antarc's side of the ship not slowing down, Antarc clears up the last of the Lunarians on his side as he goes for the center and cuts the Giant Lunarian horizontally in half.

"Hrm"

"It won't disperse"

"Is this the new type that was in Alec's report?"

"... Phos is..."

"Hey rain I think this is a new type!"

"Ok!"

"...."

"The Lunarians still haven't noticed her. I see"
