Raise Our Disciple

In the Nine Chaos Heavens...Third Chaos Heaven….Prime Continent

Deep in a forest outside Savant City, it was night time. Five masked men, dressed in black, surrounded two women. One was an elegant middle age lady while the other was a young girl.

"Sun Sword Goddess, surrender now and hand over the Great Limitless Way..Then kindly, I'll let you die a quick death. Otherwise, you can watch as I kill your disciple and all nine generations," said the Leader.

"Escape is impossible. Us five Empyreans have locked down the area and no one will hear your screams of death," said a subordinate.

The Sun Sword Goddess positioned herself before her disciple. "Master will give you practical advice as today's lesson. When facing fools, no need to listen to rubbish. When enemies threaten your family..kill with impunity. When encountering such fools..just cut off their tools."

Upon hearing her words, the five men instantly fell silent and shifted their stances.

Confused, Bai Guang asked, "Master, what tools? Disciple only sees them carrying weapons?"

"Humph! Sun Sword Goddess, I gave you a chance," said the Leader.

Ignoring the Leader, the Sun Sword Goddess patted Bai Guang's head. "Dear Disciple, just stay innocent as long as you can. Now Master will demonstrate how to kill enemies."

Poomph! With a burst of air, the Sun Sword Goddess disappeared while unleashing a fan of light.

The Leader continued, "..You dare ignore me...I'll kill...ARRRRRGGGGGGH!" Shrieking, he keeled over grabbing the empty space between his legs.

The Sun Sword Goddess appeared before the leader. Sneering she said, "What a shorty! That strand of elephant's hair was cut so easily."

Red faced with pain, the leader shrieked,"Save Meeee!"

"What a mighty Empyrean? Truly you've impressed this seat," scoffed the Sun Sword Goddess.

The other four men finally reacted.

"Master!!"

"Kill!"

"Evil Woman!"

"B*tch! Die!"

"You all call me evil when you threaten my family. Humph! This seat will slowly kill you all," vehemently retorted the Sun Sword Goddess.

As the men were drawing their weapons, she unleashed another fan of light. Blood sprayed as their bodies were cut in half at their waists. As horrible shrieks erupted, she sneered, "You want to kill all nine generations of my clan? Today, none of you will have descendants!"

The Sun Sword Goddess proceeded to cut their lower parts person-by-person. With shrill screams inundating the area, she declared, "Humph! Now watch each other die!"

Methodically she continued, rotating between individuals as she cut off body parts one by one.

Bai Guang was accustomed to seeing her Master kill but this? Her master was outright performing the bloodiest of massacres. With her face turning green, Bai Guang bent over and retched.

After an hour the screams finally stopped. The Sun Sword Goddess reappeared next to her disciple. She patted the back of the still vomiting young girl. "Poor Disciple, Master will buy you tonics to strengthen your weak stomach. This display of killing, remember well. This is how you punish trash."

Coughing, Bai Guang looked up and her face contorted with disgust. In pools of blood, body parts twitched. "M-M-Master, five Empyreans died so easily?"

"Mhm. These early Empyreans cannot compare to my 9100 years of cultivation. These fools committed a fatal mistake."

"Master, in what way? Sh-Should I clean this mess?" asked Bai Guang.

Chuckling, the Sun Sword Goddess said, "No need for cleaning..leave them as a warning. These fools attacked without investigating their target. If they knew I was a peak empyrean, they never would have dared attacking. Thus, unknowingly, they kicked an iron plate."

Coughing, Bai Guang slowly stood up and pulled out a scroll and pen. "Disciple will record your wise words. When I plan on attacking someone, I need to investigate first?"

"Mhm. Also, when fighting you probe your enemy as to gauge their strength. Never reveal your true strength."

"Master, how should I record this battle? Should I say you fought heroically for three straight days?"

"They were trash..no need to remember their existence," said the Sun Sword Goddess, starting to straighten her robes.

"If we leave them, won't their clan come find us?"

"Humph! With no witnesses, whom can they blame? This is another lesson. When killing enemies with deep roots, leave no witnesses. Come, I hope to reach Savant City by dawn. Master's really hungry and will take you to the best places to eat."

As her Master turned to walk away, Bai Guang put away the pen and scroll. "Master, Disciple is not sure if she'll be able to digest food for a while."

Looking up, she noticed her Master was already several feet ahead. "Waa! Master don't leave me behind! Quickly, she sprinted forward to catch up. Clinging to her Master's arms, she asked, "Master was that strike, the one where you cut all the Empyreans in half, your Heavenly Sun Slicer? Will I be able to learn it one day?"

The Sun Sword Goddess wryly smirked. "Child, seeing such an attack means you will die."

Bai Guang gasped, "Master? Why-Why would I, your disciple, die?? Wouldn't you protect me?"

Sun Sword Goddess paused her walking, furtively scanning the horizon. Matter-of-factually she said, "Master would be unable to protect you as my Heavenly Sun Slicer strikes in all directions...Only Empyreans with profound defensive or escape techniques would survive. Therefore, disciple would perish. Poof! You'd end up as blood mist."

Bai Guang paled in horror, "I would die in such a way?"

Sun Sword Goddess continued walking, eyes narrowing into pinpoints as she now scanned high up in the sky. "Mhm. Also, according to logic you may not inherit this strike. When I accepted you...did you not choose to be a fist cultivator? My Heavenly Sun Slicer firstly requires one to practice the sword. Secondly, one must be a sword goddess."

Lowering her head in disappointment, Bai Guang said, "Master, is there really no path to learn it? Maybe I can give up the fist?"

Suddenly, the Sun Sword Goddess grabbed Bai Guang and KACHA! A sunlight barrier appeared about them.

"Something's breaking through the void!!" she screamed.

"BOOM!!"

A blood red bead, the size of a marble, punctured through the veil of the void and a shock wave slammed into the barrier. In less than two seconds, the barrier broke causing the Sun Sword Goddess to groan from the backlash. All about them, whether it be hills or trees, everything was flattened. Gritting her teeth, the Sun Sword Goddess reconstructed her barrier and helplessly, the two were carried away by the shock wave.

Ohm! Ohm! Ohm!

The blood bead shone brightly, floating as it emitted pressure in all directions. Like a joyous chorus, conversation erupted from the floating blood bead.

"Haaaha! Haaaha!!"

"Brothers, we're HOME!!"

"It's my Chaos Heavens!"

"Quickly, in which Heaven are we?"

"I sense it's the Third Chaos Heaven."

"To think we would be so far from the Ninth Heaven."

"Can you believe that crazy plan worked!?"

"We were lucky to find Fatty King, the amount of true essence, truly spacious in here."

"Remember, we must not mention his last moments as a mortal, a horrendous memory."

"Quickly, we need to find a home for our Fatty Disciple."

"Look there are two females over there."

"Must be Master and Disciple."

"Quick, go over!"

SWOOSH!!

The blood bead zoomed over several hundred miles to the pair's location. Within a ravine riddled with debris, the Sun Sword Goddess drew her sword. Sensing the three approaching auras, her full Empyrean power erupted and enveloped the two within a sunlight domain. "Yoouuu!! Whoever you are, I will die fighting!!!" she exclaimed, spitting out blood.

"Master??" asked Bai Guang.

"Are my eyes seeing a Sword Goddess with a sunlight affinity?"

"Child, we mean you know no harm."

The Sun Sword Goddess gulped air and her face paled as she saw the blood bead before them. The three powerful auras she felt were vaster than any known sea. Grimly, she said to Bai Guang, "When I strike, just run. We-we may die here. Anyone that can break through the void has to be…"

Coughing a voice said, "Yes, we are three Grand Empyreans"

The bead tapped the light barrier, shattering it instantly, and a massive pressure immediately froze the master and disciple. Bai Guang spat blood and fainted on the spot."

"Se-Seniors, there is no enmity between us. If I offended you, I-I apologize. Please-please spare us, begged the Sun Sword Goddess, gritting her teeth."

Is this what's left of my pride?

"With any offense I'll take full responsibility. My-My Disciple..please let her live."

"We will not harm either of you. In fact, we'll heal you right now. Brother He if you can."

"Of course Brother Hao." A warm healing power washed over the Master and Disciple pair. In less than five seconds, they returned to a full healthy state.

"How is this possible, even my depleted power is fully restored?" said an astonished Sun Sword Goddess."

"Brother He, you have great healing techniques," complimented Ding Gang.

"Indeed, Fatty's blood extraction saved us all," said Yun Hao.

Brother He responded, "Please Brother Gang, everyone contributed. I must say, I'm still amazed how you were able to bind all four souls. And if it weren't for Brother Hao's spatial law comprehension..It's just all of our other brothers..."

"Sonovab*tch!!" roared Ding Gang! His aura burst, enveloping the area and expanded out to several hundred miles.

The Sun Sword Goddess's heart jumped, the blood draining from her face. The surface of her skin was vibrating. It felt like every part of her body was going to tear apart.

"Brother Gang, please we're scaring the child," said Yun Hao as he formed a protective bubble about the pair. Simultaneously, he unfroze them. "There, that should be better."

Within the bubble, The Sun Sword Goddess collapsed to her knees. Immediately she inspected Bai Guang and sighed in relief.

"Ah child! My anger got the better of me," apologetically said Ding Gang.

Just a simple burst of emotion can kill me?

Still shaken by the experience, the Sun Sword Goddess stood up with a wince. Bowing she said, "Seniors, this is my disciple Bai Guang. I am Zhao Wen of Savant City. Thank you for healing us. This one will listen."

"Savant City?? It must be the city I sense 2000 miles from here. Humph! I sense no more than four Empyreans," said Ding Gang.

With a sigh, Jiang He questioningly asked, "Can we even raise Fatty in such an environment?"

"Brothers, do we even have a choice? Mind you, our time is extremely limited. We must start his regeneration."

Is this the proverbial third wheel?

The Sun Sword Goddess loudly cleared her throat. "Seniors, if there are no words, then I beg to leave."

Silence answered her for several moments.

"Seniors?"

Sssht! What a mighty Empyrean I am.

After several more minutes, Yun Hao finally spoke. "Okay, I will do as discussed. Where is the child..ah there you are."

Zhao Wen's eyebrows knitted.

Yun Hao continued, "Us brothers actually need a favor. We see that you are a peak Empyrean but are about 2,000 years shy of Grand Empyrean. Should you agree, within 1000 years, we will raise you to Grand Empyrean. In addition, we are prepared to offer one favor a piece."

She jumped to her feet, not realizing she had inadvertently kicked Bai Guang's mid-drift.

Grand Empyrean in 1000 years!

"Seniors, is this true?!"

"It's true, however our request involves enormous danger. Prior to deciding, let us show you an event," said Yun Hao.

Zhao Wen's breathed deeply with clenched fists, hoping the danger was manageable.

A light screen appeared and images flickered into life. Deep in the Star Sea above the Chaos Heavens, several cultivators stood in formation.

She gasped in shock. Only Grand Empyreans had the means to withstand the raw energies of the Star Sea.

"This the Star Sea above the Ninth Chaos Heaven. Before you is a defensive line comprised of Grand Empyreans representing three of the Four prime sects: Shooting Star, Heavenly Water and Mystic. Millenniums ago, the Four entered a pact to defend the Chaos Heavens whenever threatened from invasion," explained Yun Hao.

"Only Thunder Sect failed to heed the call of the Great Pact," added Jiang He.

"Humph! Would it have mattered?...The mere presence of a few more ants?" sarcastically asked Ding Gang.

In the light screen, a giant black rift appeared before the battle formation. In reaction, the Grand Empyreans erupted in extreme power. From out of the rift, a massive fist that enveloped the heavens and blotted out the stars, smashed into the battle formation. Instantly, the image terminated and blacked out.

The Sun Sword Goddess gasped, "What happened??"

"SonofaB*tch! Th-That one strike..destroyed us all!" erupted Ding Gang.

"They were annihilated..whereas we three were blasted into a moon in another dimension," said Jiang He.

"My body was a f*ing burnt Husk!" extorted Ding Gang.

Zhao Wen was struck dumb and stared blankly for several breaths. Gulping air, she asked, "Seniors, what kind of being has such power???"

Grimly, Yun Hao answered, "That was a Celestial."

"Brothers, this lord will avenge you," lamented Jiang He.

"SonofaB*tch! I'll kill him!!" screamed Ding Gang.

"Seniors what-what is a Celestial?" asked Zhao Wen.

"You absolutely cannot spread this information as it is a secret only known to Grand Empyreans. Celestial is the cultivation level beyond Grand Empyrean. You should know, we humans originally are not from the Chaos Heavens. In fact, we escaped to the Chaos Heavens," explained Yun Hao.

"Eons upon eons ago, we were brought here by Human Celestials," added Jiang He.

"That-that fist..it was from only one Celestial...Correct?" asked the Sun Sword Goddess.

"Like us brothers, it was the vanguard," answered Yun Hao.

"Vanguard?? Then the Ninth Chaos heaven, is it no more?" she asked.

"We are safe. The vanguard was meant to delay the enemy. Behind us, our main army collaborated to seal the rift. However, the rift will re-open again in 1,000 years time."

"SonofaB*tch! Next time, I'll destroy that bastard!"

Senior, as you know, I am only a peak Empyrean and am not qualified to participate in this battle. In fact, shouldn't we all be fleeing?"

"Child, even for us there is no place to run to," said Yun Hao.

"SonofaB*tch! I Ding Gang will never run!"

"Since we cannot run, we can only get stronger," said Jiang He.

Zhao Wen's face blackened.

You wanna get stronger than a Celestial?

"Seniors if it's agreed that I don't have the qualification to participate...then what possibly could you want from me?" she asked.

"Us brothers, we-we ask that you raise our disciple," said Yun Hao.

"Raise your disciple?? Perhaps my eyes are blind, but which disciple?"

"This blood bead is our disciple's true essence. All Grand Empyreans have the ability to regenerate their bodies from one drop of blood. In the other dimension, after we lost our bodies, we found a mortal planet. In order to save ourselves, we accepted a mortal as a disciple. As our true bodies were destroyed, we could only return by binding our souls to his," said Jiang He.

Still confused, Zhao Wen asked, "Then am I only to keep this blood bead until you restore your bodies?"

Yun Hao sighed. "Our situation is more complicated. Regeneration requires each have at least a third of our power. After crashing into that moon, we had less then one tenth. In order to accomplish our plan, we needed to combine our remaining power. If you consider Fatty's essence extraction and the cost of returning to the Chaos Heavens, we brothers only have enough power to regenerate Fatty to an infant boy."

Suddenly, the Sun Sword Goddess's eyes brightened and her back straightened up. "Infant Boy?? You-You mean baby? A baby boy?"
