she was the strongest female warrior in the last days before she died in an explosion during a mission.  she woke up in a parallel world where there were no zombies and the society was peaceful. 

No matter how poor the Current family is, she at least won't starve to death with the powers that followed her to the current body. Now her goal is to eat and become a well-off with the family.

She Is From The Last Days

Ying Lan looked up at the door as she heard the little footsteps coming closer. Her hearing was as good as ever, as she was able to hear just as before.


When she awoke her powers, her senses enhanced, and now that her abilities followed her, she feels lighter than when she first came through.


She knows that within a week, her abilities will clear the impurities in her body, because of the accumulated dirt for seventeen years will take more than a day to discharge.


"can I come in?" Chen Chen's Milky voice sounded, as he knocked on the door once, and peeked his head through the gap.


"come in baby, why are you asking when you are already halfway in?" Ying Lan actually adores babies, but the children are rare in her time: plus she is always in a mission, so it is even rarer for her to come across babies.


"you warned me not to enter your room or you will beat me!" Ying Lan searched her memories and found that  'Ying Lan' really told her 4year old brother that.


"Mom told me to give you this milk tea." seeing her not talking, Ying Chen thought she was angry again, and hurriedly handed her the milk tea in his hand, and fled, as if there was a beast chasing him.


Ying Lan's eyes lit up, and her whole face brightened, as she looked at the milk tea in her hand, and took a sip.


The most satisfying thing here was the food!


She finished the milk tea and continued her research on the current world.


Ying Lan got up from the bed and took the cup to the kitchen. She took a shower and changed her white dress to black leggings, white teeshirt, and white sneakers, which was difficult to find because the wardrobe was full of short, pink ugly clothes. The shoes were mostly cheap thigh boots and high heels. 


Mother Ying who took a day off at her work, and was cooking lunch; while father Ying went back to work; he couldn't afford to take a whole day off.


She looked at her daughter who had a bare face in surprise. She hadn't seen her daughter dressed so casual with a bare face in so long!


She wanted to ask her where she was going, but swallowed back, as she thought how their relationship just eased.


 "Mom I am going to meet with some friends. I will come back for lunch." Ying Lan regretted as soon as she spoke.


 She knows how mother Ying hates the original owner's friends and thinks they attribute to her bad behaviour, which she is not wrong.


But mother Ying was just surprised that Ying Lan informed her before going out!


"Here, take this and buy something for yourself if you feel hungry." Mother Ying said as she gave fifty yuan to Ying Lan. 


Ying Lan didn't take it because she knew fifty yuan was big for mother Ying, and their living situation was tight. "Mom, I don't need to buy anything. I am coming home for lunch anyway," and even if she eats outside, there will be someone to pay for it, so it does not matter.


Ying Lan got out of the 4-storeys old building and went to the internet cafe her 'friends' told her.


Along the way, Ying Lan looked at the passing scenery that was fresh to her. Even though she has memories of these lanes, seeing, and experiencing them herself is different from the memories. 


She walked for ten minutes before she arrived at the internet cafe. She walked in and observed the cafe. It was a habit she had formed at the end of the world. 


Noticing there was no danger around, she relaxed her vigilance, and walked towards the most noticeable group, and not in a good way with their questionable hair colour.
