Chapter 10: Rage

As soon as I realized that I won't be able to  evade it this time,

I tossed Altair away from me to avoid getting swallowed by the flame along with me....

I took a direct hit from a fireball stained in black, 

As soon as my skin got converge with it, my whole body got instantly engulfed by black flames.....

By the time I thought  'Oh, Crap!'

 it was already too late. The moment I felt it, I was already surrounded....

This Dragon let me avoid it's attack on purpose to predict my next movement..what a clever monster you are...If I have figured it out from the beginning, maybe there's something else I could do...

Can't believe I fell into the enemy's trap...

Dahh..I did'nt think I had let my guard down, but I could've hadled that better. And I played right into enemy's hand, too! Totally awful.

Hmnnn...Maybe I shouldn't have been so self-centered...

And after I was just reincarnated here..

Is this really the end for me?

I detected at least a bit of

 "You forgot all about Heat Resistance, didn't you?" sarcasm to the voice.

Hopefully that was just my imagination. YoRHa had been completely

faithful to me before now. It wasn't even self-aware. It'd be stupid to think

otherwise.

I pretend that I'm on the ropes, then I turn the tables. Let's go with that...

Not too long after that, the jet black flame started to fade away from my body...

I'm convinced that I didn't take any damage for I don't feel any affliction anywhere...

Yea, I'm completely fine aside from my clothes that have been completely burnt without any trace....

Which means, that I'm completely naked right now....

...Ugh....I can't get enough with this whitey skin and slender body of mine...

It's kinda embarrassing to get exposed without any clothes... even though I'm well awared that there's no one in here presently beside me and a dragon....

After the dragon saw me unaffected from it's attack, it smashed the ground using it's tail out of agitation...

"ho, are you perhaps annoyed regarding that your fire is totally useless before me,?"

Well whatever, it doesn't change the fact that I'm no match to you.... but I can atleast escape...

But firstly, I need to pick up Altair..

Hmmn..?? Weird, I'm sure it should be around here where I tossed Altair a  while ago...

I broke out in cold sweat, for I can't find Altair anywhere, when she should be around here...

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I regarded Altair as 'SHE'  because of it's Pinkish color*

After searching arround me, I can feel the dragon gazing at me... 

I shift my sight from it's direction which cause my eyes opened wide in shock...

It is not because of the monster in front of me but for the reason that Altair lying down near in front of the dragon...

'How did she get there!?'

My head filled up with questions.....

No matter what I think about it, it doesn't make sense...unless the dragon took Altair itself...but for what reason?

Well I couldn't care less...I need to get her back...I don't even care if I put my life on the line... I need to take her back no matter what it takes....

If you ask me, Altair is not only a mere doll in my view...cuz I deemed Altair as my own family...

WHY!!!????

Is it wrong to besotted with a doll??

 Is it wrong to feel the warmth of heart from just a mere doll??? 

Is it my fault to feel at ease just by hugging a doll?? 

Is it wrong to assume a doll as my own family???

No! As far as I know, there's nothing wrong about it...

Funny??? feel free to laugh at me...I don't give a thinkers damn.....but don't ever try to harm every single precious to me...

I'm done being impotent...

lack of competence preventing when everything I cherished the most, taken away from me, and there's nothing I can do but to watch and wait on the corner....

I think I heard something like that, but at the moment, I didn't care at all.

Recovering Altair is the only thing running all over my head.....

Just as I'm about to jump before the dragon  with the purpose of retrieving Altair,

 In an instant, there was a magic circle painted on the ground where Altair is currently lying at,

Without hesitating, I jumped right into the location of Altair at my max speed, I've got a bad feeling about that magic circle, probably one of that dragon's spell...please be there in time!! PLEASE!!!

But—

 in a blink of an eye, a huge black flame that is whirling like a tornado emerged from the magic circle and suddenly wrapped arround Altair...

Even so, I proceeded and meant to charge right into the wall of flames..

But then again, a wide-range barrier abruptly ceased me in advancing...

「 GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!! 」

 I whacked the barrier using my fist solely, it's as if I am punching a steel due to the pain like cracking my bones....

I hit the barrier again and again hoping the barrier to be destroyed...

「  please, please, stop getting my way, I'm begging you...」stating this words while my fist is bleeding without a pause.....

Then—

 the flame inside the barrier seem to be  fading slowly as I pray for Altair....

After the flame totally vanished in the air, I fall on my knees...as tears run through down my eyes....

' Oh god please! I beg you, don't do this to me, please! Not again! '

But no matter how many times I plead,

 it doesn't change anything

 that's right! 

The fact that Altair,,,,,,altair is gone!!! she dissapeared along with the flame.....

'Altair! Altair! Altair'

I was mixed with anger and regret at the moment when a sound of 'Growl' can be heard coming from the monster ahead of me like it is making fun of me.....

I shifted my gaze towards the dragon....

'Ah, I see...You're enjoying this scene, is it any fun watching me as I cry over a doll? '
