I began laughing as I got up, I mean our little group was so sad.

why were we so comfortable?

There are people probably cowering and shivering in fear right now.

And here we are, it has probably been a while since We were all this well-rested but with my uncontrollable laughter I woke everyone up.

I didn't mean to but hey can't take it back now.

It turns out it was the middle of the night...

I think We all slept the whole day away, thanks to the progenitor guy and its crappy headache power.

After the little display popped up, I had realized something...

I found a bit of peace even if it's only a sliver I found it.

I was no longer alone but I was hungry!

Stopping my line of thought I continued getting up.

I made everyone else get up also even though we had no real goal.

We sat down and ate while I decided to take care of my new screens it wasn't vision blocking they were just deep in the corner of my vision.

if I looked down focusing my full attention at it long enough the screens would come into view and block my vision like looking at a phone screen.

I had some complaints as it was too solid but as if my thoughts were the systems the tart blue screen became opaque allowing me to see my hand through the screens even though I can see them still.

I can't say much as my mind spun but that was because I had so many ideas!

Another vastly smart idea I thought up since I didn't like the color and I was hoping for a vibrant purple

Yeah, It wasn't like I needed it but blue was so worn out it would have been so much better to allow it change as some games allow that.

why not they are my mental screens right?

To my dismay, it changed to that purple color.

I was so intrigued I set my mind to see all its options since I was thinking like a game player.

Trying to play his character I said options and boom I got them, I said stats, and boom I got them while I was acting giddy.

I had the other looking at me oddly.

I would let out some happy sounds and as I had been thinking too hard I made no progress in changing that.

I continued it while continuing to play with the screens and functions.

I got Rory curious so we had a vivid chat about what she knew and what I just learned there were a few menus even I didn't even think of, for now, let's jump in starting with my first screen.

I again was stuck closing the options and opening it multiple times.

As it was always purple each time I 'harumphed' at my lack of imagination and then went on to read the rest of the screens.

*Without hesitation, I said and thought 'Diana' and with no ability to take it back I was struck with burning on my right arm, up my right shoulder, and my Left hand!*

My thoughts Burned also as I saw the descriptions my thoughts were:

"what will I ever need Androgynous childbirth or to be a holder of virginity for?"

I Might have regretted the thought of choosing so quickly.

I was unable to change it, yet don't regret it.

I assessed my body!

I could feel my whole body burn yet feel refreshed

This repeated followed by a searing pain on my left hand and the way up my right arm to its shoulder.

I yelped as I smelt a very deeply rich singed aroma with the dumb ass thought still lingering!

"WHAT THE HELL WOULD I NEED ANDROGYNOUS CHILDBIRTH FOR?"

I kept that thought in heart and mind because that was my motivation.

Why did this need to hurt?

My left hand was used to cover the burn on my arm which helped none as the tattoo seemed to be melted silver.

It sucked and it was sad because it took me time to calm down after I burned the hell out of myself twice!

Knowing this was my fault I just sat there letting my arms hang...

I used a bit of common sense afterward noticing I just needed to calm down for a moment.

The pain disappeared immediately, It is not that i am immune I was just panicking!

looking at the back of My hand as well as the place that was burned.

It is weird looking at the fact that I have acquired two brand new tattoos.

One on My Right arm and shoulder it looked like two but was one large one.

The other on the back of my right hand.

Yeah, I cringed from the pain as the adrenalin dulled down.

The pain was momentary but I had so much adrenalin that it caused me to amplify it.

Yeah... I made it worse than it was there were no actual burns it was just the energy that was used to imprint my arm!

I also stared at the tattoos and Rory looking at me as if I was a psycho.

After a few seconds, She noticed my hand and arm jumping up she yelled at me

"no fair I got nothing like that!"

Two new tattoos are all we could think about.

They were instant and came only after I read the screen making Me a bit leery to read the next ones.

I was looking at the tattoos ignoring Rory and her wide eyes as she saw that arm tattoo.

She clearly described it for me...

"It was a tall sturdy Tree."

"With its top on My shoulder, and roots on my forearm. "

"It was encompassing in the center of its trunk a moon at the crescent stage."

"On the edge of the moon was paws adorned like stars."

"On the branches of the tree hanging like fruit."

"The four gorgeous fruits of silver are shaped as weapons which are in order a scythe, a dual set of blades, a shield, and Hammer."

"There are three more buds that weren't bloomed but had a faint green tint."

"The roots of the Tree stemmed off and seamlessly faded into my arm like roots into the dirt."

This was just the one on my arm with its silver color spread from the shoulder to past my elbow making it sort of an ornament now.

The only sadness I had is it also burned through the shirt sleeve which made me just a whee a bit sour.

The one on my hand was a simple dull dead grey hammer, Quill, and The design was lackluster and seemed more of an afterthought with small brown stains like rust.

Looking at it has made me annoyed, I mean this is permanent even more so, I was angered at the deity who is such an ass to make it!

He had choices as they seemed to know this was a permanent thing one would at least Be kind, No his initial thought making it was probably: "why do i need to bother making it look neat! Meh! Deal with it!"

No point in whining to figure it out rather than sit here and worry.

I began to fiddle with the screens again thinking about what to do when I noticed that new screens do not pop into view.

They sit at the side and I had a few more now one of which was rather rude.

The other was not enlightening to have to read it still gave me goosebumps of yippee even more anger!

It rewrites its rules now to suit the times and the nature of each galactic core, star system, and species.

Every Greedy being sought out more power and this is the equivalent of those rules having been bent and broken to the point of no return.

Still, they claim dimensions and galaxies while spending their immortal woes bringing hell and drama to mortals and terrestrials as they are lower forms.

While the progenitors are there they cannot do much for any beings below them they only shape and guide the universes for future people.

We are that medium, some are good some are not so good.

The mixing of demi life into one's soul is usually a hard concept to swallow but can make for an epic tale in its self.

I mean you will live longer than you think anyways but to stay on the main topic.

We few who saw the inevitably meant for a better set of plans but that was where we failed.

Allowing anyone or thing to slip into any dimension, realm, or plain.

Thus a scattered mess Is now roaming free.

To combat that we allowed for a wider range of assistance.

So The Master Codex opened the eyes of genesis and saturated the eighteen universes with every form of energy.

Reading it seemed to answer some of the questions yet also left so many unanswered.

after looking at it then I found I had been duped this wasn't a stat screen it was a lie!

But then again I have never been good with numbers Meh...

Rory in the meantime had been slowly pestering me to cook to the point.

I could no longer ignore it since my gut was also growling!

I didn't have to worry we had food, So I grabbed a Pack of our jerky.

I made the Cases from the skin, along with making small pouches for other snacks.

I made these for traveling.

We had this as our meal Instead of working hard, I also decided to break into a few MRE meals for dinner.

Perv had a giant bug it was also going to eat a can of dog food.

Any time perv finds a can of food it treats them so tender like it just found a fragile mythical creature.

I noticed that Pervs green got darker I had noticed a new Grey tattoo on the chest to its left side and another White one on the back of perv.

I asked Rory if she had any and was told no.

I think she was just way too shy to ask me to check...

I don't blame her, she did say she had gotten instead Just two abilities.

She had three one for the Ranged combat, one for her sight, and the extra one was for her senses.

She now had a sixth sense, but she was unable to use it?

Mine was for dexterous ingenuity hers was for Greater senses.

The deity had said it depended on the user.

Did It mean it as what Our natural talents would be?

If the abilities would reflect that then what?

Really though I had no complaints as I was finished with the MRE meal.

I wanted to check this last screen with the options.

it was rather simple with only five options.

Immediately I changed rift approval and scan approval to manual meaning I would not like that to happen on its own!

'Giggling at the options screen because they were so optimal I finished up eating and decided to lay back down as we only had a few hours left until daybreak.

I would rest then go scavenge up whatever we need it is always best to shop in the morning!

Sleeping a lot doesn't help our travel plans much but we are in no rush I guess.
