Waking up about halfway through the night from the screams in my mind they were very real.

almost as if the screams meant to wake me...

let me start with one thing...

I do not believe in ghosts!

But the things in my view can only be classified as such.

it was an apparition of the bugs that are locked up in the bowl room we made.

they hadn't made the same screeches it seems though, After a few checks everyone else was asleep except for the one standing guard.

Which was creepy because they didn't hear anything.

I don't know why it is only me but I will figure it out...

I was scared by them and im still in my room, Rory is next to me and plush is her pillow.

They seemed to have not heard it, I poked plush he lifted his head and chirped towards rory.

she is sawing logs in the great forest of dreamland.

so if plush doesn't see them, I was obviously the only one to hear it...

Watching the ghosts float around they began to shine with a pale light.

In my mind, I felt a connection to the bunny grow stronger to a point its thoughts of food were extremely clear.

As if to smite me it pinched my soul making me flinch but I listened and called it out.

Mint who was in the room adjacent to ours heard plush chirp, She came rushing in smoothly.

Daggers drawn ready to strike and she was looking to attack for the first time I felt her intentions which were to come check on me..?

I can hear or somehow feel the intention of each creature around me...

When mint and this bunny met eyes they both had a slight looming essence of dislike as if the look and the energy were exactly the same.

Mint came to me flicked the rabbit went back to her room while I just stared at the rabbit in disbelief.

it had an extremely hard obsidian bone growing from its forehead that was not the only thing that was weird.

Its fur was shimmering.

That was shocking because the first time I saw it the rabbit was a smooth yet not glowing.

It's grey Fur with big purple eyes and a now silver butterfly tattoo, It was glowing purple at one time this time it was shimmering purple all over with its black inner ear lobes, horn and Its purple eyes.

It made me feel great like all my worries melted away.

With it having its long black horn and its grey fluffy tail wiggling side to side, it tinkled its nose at me before conveying the thought of food.

I have become rather proficient in using my inventory ability.

so I closed my eyes sifting through my inventory.

Thus I called on the veggies We bought the one's from the merchant he said they were safe to eat although I am jot yet willing to try.

to think that there is someone who ate this just to check its viability....

I comennd that brave soul!

But to be honest why did he want to know?

Has he tested them himself, or was it someone else?

What came out was a small yellow egg and an extremely fresh veggie like it was exactly the way it was when I put it in, So was the egg...

The bunny made short work of the veggie while it eyed the egg I could feel it thinking about eating it also.

I flicked it softly.

With a little burp after he ate two more veggies, then decided that it wasn't worth staying up and went back to my soul realm.

This realm was no longer crowded it was now as big as the mental island making me think about merging them.

with just the thought everything changed to my projected image.

With a twing in my chest, I felt the expenses.

that was me who did that... I felt the connections present.

From the back of my head I felt a slight pain.

I thought I was in the bunker we made but I was not.

Like the ice I see in front of Me right now , I froze hard!

I saw some ice that was like a mirror and hesitated.

My eyes that were purple have now turned to a silver!

In the mirror like ice I see the glow in my eyes...

I could see perfectly in the dark at great distances?

There was a new mark on my head it was a small like a teardrop on my forehead.

This which adorned my head now shone with a glint of obsidian like the rabbit.

Looking for other things I noticed my nails have become closer to mints at an extremely sharp point.

Claws!

My claws to be exact!

I had no nails but claws!

I stopped panicking and began to asses my current issue.

I can tell it is related to my abilities as a tamer which is neat but also troublesome...

I don't have a clue why this is happening?

Looking around I saw the apparitions of the bugs.

I heard each one's screams as I focused on them separately I realized that they varied not in just tone but in power.

I reached out to the loudest one which was also the biggest in the apparition size rating.

being the loudest didn't make it the brightest of apparitions this one was the dimmest of the shines around.

It was a very strong presence and the light in its soul was almost as if it was giving up...

It responded to me as if it wanted to help it, I asked it what it needed and surprisingly.

I felt a strengthening of the connection as it began to convey all of the needs and all of the things it wanted to say.

it was very happy after it got someone to speak to...

It conveying the world of its soul core!

It seems as if it is calling to me to say it will have lost all its cowardice.

We sat in the ice with the warmth of a spring, I watched as it faded.

Its last thought was Bliss!

It was ready, And so it passed.

The apparitions light condensed into a sphere then burst glittering down showering over me I felt the connection as it ceased.

The little creatures all seemed happy even though they all noticed an ally left them.

I felt them like I felt mint and the bunny.

Although the connection to mint is different from the bunny...

there were forty other connections that slowed my thinking flooding in the other insects all conveying loyalty.

I then realized the reason why the ant was unable to form a bond with me like these creatures.

I also realized that the one I connected with first was the leader of them all.

Or the fallen leader...

I was even able to tell the gender and how it has a connection to the others.

there was all the information on it, the ability, and its magnificence!

For the first time, I gained an exact read on my ability and the abilities of what Is around me.

I also learned that my inventory and my class are slightly connected.

also, I received a slight notion into my curse there is a large connection between it and into my mental realm and soul realm.

It is like a greedy vortex that makes itself a known presence!

I could detect the differences in the tame creatures I have, compared to the wild ones.

the only thing that considered them tame was the fact that they showed a slight loyalty, it wasn't even to me but the fallen leader.

The reason they follow me is that pack mentality dictates it...

Simple to be acknowledged as a friend in a time of loss yet, they were not truly connected to me that... it was just there minor allegiance.

when they connected they all had different thoughts and needs but not all of them were conveyed.

I found another with the same strength as the fallen King.

This was a female insect of the exact same species but its was different compared to the others.

Sorting through the thoughts I found that one wanted to be the tamed beast of puppet girl.

As a small precaution I reached out making the ice of this Soul realm shift encompassing the bug.

I could feel it and I could feel what I needed to do.

Instead of forcing the realm around it, I asked it a question, to my surprise I got an answer!*

Rico: Do you wish to join me?

Pill bug: K..Kerry DA..nce... we frie...ndds.

*It was broken speech, almost as if a child was trying to read.

Ah, Kerry was the little girl it knew her name it seems.

she has seen her before today and is very fond of her puppetry.

She apparently met her once before and the little girl showed her warmth to this bug.

Even during all the troubles that girl found time to comfort others...

while thinking about her a small prompt popped into my mind asking if I wished to transfer terms of ownership.

It said: "loyalty has occurred with two beings, this child is asking for your permission to join another.'

As the only tamer present and key holder of the pill kings soul.

After the message displayed in my mind showed i felt a connection behind me not the creatures in the room but a presence from a distance away!

It was warm yet, ice cold I had sweat on face and chest.

In front of me was the screens once again except the titles were no longer visible...

The shop, Ownership, and friends list Involuntarily popped up and asked me if I wished to sell for the currency which would change to match our sector's current currency.

Just like that, I got a bunch of other mental prompts about taming and tamed creatures it turns out I am like a proverbial Noah's ark.

all the information was about simple things like mints information, the new rolly bug leader Information with a sub-list of subordinates, the bunnies info, a shop prompt, and information about my class.

I figured out my soul realms ability and a plethora of other things that will take some exploring to get formulated explanations.

But a simple run down.

My inventory, soul realm, and friendslist are all connected.

The inventory extends to the storing of creatures for trade and transportation.

My soul realm can contain my tamed creatures, Or to be exact I could contain two of each species a male or king, and a female or queen as my companion party.

They could live-in that realm indefinitely.

As for my friendslist it informed me of my companions in its secondary tab.

The children of that king and queen would act as my sub companions, it will then be up to me on the choice of trade.

Although The children or followers of said two can show loyalty to me but will not have to listen to my commands.

Even though they need permissions, I can give the king and queen full autonomy for the actions also.

They will, on the other hand, listen to my commands through there leader or hive or even through the pack type of mentality like the one present.

One drawback is I can only claim two of a creature species, The rest are just slightly loyal as long as the leaders loyal.

A Simple solution gathers all the leaders of each creature and show them power unlike any other...

We struggle with just the smaller creatures that attack in mass.

What if a strong species attacked us?

How would we survive....

What if the creatures don't have a ruling figure or a hierarchy?

I have so many questions to ask but not one person can answer them...

I do enjoy the system though and the fact that it is relaying everything into my mind but I still have so many questions about it alone.

Like the system everything about what's happening is weird...

I tried the shop part of the system but as there is no established currency I have no way of actually using the... currency i can transfer currency or earn it?

Looking at the egg on the table the tab clicked over and said: [ Beginning Current Auction for mystery egg #311]

Now though I know I can sell things through it!

My mind began to ring as I was gaining currency and that was how our credit currency will or was to be accepted...

In my Inventory the counter said I have 10,000 credits.

Although I refuse to torture myself with things like how the system tortures my mind with these questions that defy all logical thought.

There is a help section which only tells me the things I already know so, either way, I have to figure it out myself at least once...

although above everything else it has one line that has boggled me I haven't spoken much about what it says as it seemed like a joke.

but know I am starting to realize what it means.

The line says: "believing is key, To believe is to know everything. "

At first, I didn't get it but now I get that believing what I see is just as hard as believing what I know.

I know there is a crazy world around me, but if I believe it is my world!

This moment, it was now when I realized this is the world I live in and I believe in.

I believe that I will thrive!

Now I will make them work in my favor now is not the time but tomorrow when everyone is up.

I will put it to use and learn how to make perfect use of it and this world.

... I wonder what was in that egg, it was golden egg with a small black seal.

I don't feel guilty for selling it though haha!

I wake when king scares me.

he in danger with no danger near?

That hare he hold scary... it has a look of death in its eye...

I have seen this look before....

*with a few rustles mint laid back down to rest but before settling in she sat back up and out of nowhere she pulled a piece of meat.

happily, she began eating it and after it was finished.

Mint burped ever so pleasantly while falling to sleep.

Little did she know the changes that were to occur nor the power she had just gained. *

*waking up I found myself pressed into a bunch of questions...

as I was the last to get up I had not seen the new changes that happened to mint until after everyone else.

Although my companion was not the only one to change it seems from my experiment last night Rory was also able to claim plush as a true companion.

I found in setting the ability to change the UI of choice.

The User interface is like kiddy shoes when we first get our system it is always default!

I can choose to be informed or not apparently.

I went through the new setting and I allowed access to all creatures.

The only permissions needed is from the person they deem worthy of their loyalty.

I also allowed evolutionary paths, full autonomy, and No restrictions.

Doing This made plush choose Rory as his companion allowing him to Go through a few changes.

He has now become a lot thinner in girth and looks more like a silver hawk about three and a half meters tall.

He has a small black crown of feathers.

Much like him, mint went through a strange change.

she had now become taller about my size to be exact?

She was no longer just a normal goblin...

She had shiny grey skin with purple tattoos and a very odd black colored hair.

Her features and hair seemed to almost sparkle in some spots like stars in the night's sky.

The goblin has become more human like in the aspect of change But has clear value in other places.

I will certainly need to make taller clothes as she now looks more like a teen instead of a child.

Everyone wanted to know how I did it but I had no clue I just told them honestly that they naturally evolved after gaining access to choose their own strength.

After I got another slew of questions about if we could all have a creature that brought me back to reality a bit.

I made everyone gather, for two reasons!

One: I am lazy!

Two: There would be to many people to explain to each one....

I made everyone sit with me and we had an MRE & a tea which to be serious was frighteningly good.

I mean I have enough MRES hidden in my inventory but they will run out.

Rory And I have a few things we needed to share beside as a team we need everyone to be at the top of their game.

I began to propose my ideas...

I learned everyone here is transparent as we all wanted to be our own entity in a group that would accept us no matter what.

As such in a way, we have agreed to find us all a place to land and settle as the eventual leaders and peacekeepers.

I brought up the full story and let them all know without holding back anything at all Even about my deity and my curses.*

Rico: As you can see everything Rory and I know will be taught to you no holding back.

I have shown you all the system's ability for what I know and from what We have figured out.

* I am cursed and blessed by deity type beings, I fall under a different category which seems to have more tribulations.

both good and bad... so far mainly bad!

Although I haven't really been affected by this I cannot ignore the warning I was given.

We are all weaker, And if there are already people able to kill and destroy these creatures whatever they are as an entity.

They shouldn't Bother to stop us now, I do not think there is a limit?

If they stoop so low as to smite us in person would it matter how strong we are?

As for limits to companions.

They are all just friends that you make right?

A companion does not need you to feed it.

They rely on instinct to feed.

it is its own entity yet it learns to survive with its surroundings incorporating its needs and instincts into a daily routine.

Domesticated Farm animals and house pets were commonly used so what is the problematic part..

The Foreign fauna & monstrous creatures that have arrived here it seems have had no problem adapting.

So why can't we adapt along with them.

While the fauna & flora that were originally here began evolving into whatever they have become now.

We have yet to show signs of full evolution or encounter a creature at full power that has transferred.

I figured there power would be even greater, gathering the group to talk seemed to be the easy part...*

Rico: okay as everyone knows and is well aware.

I am a tamer class to be exact I am the silver tamer.

before I go too far into detail I would like to ask.

"Is there anyone that has a problem with my companions in any way?"

Theo: yes I do... well it's not so much as a problem but more of a concern?

Rico: what would that be?

Len: yep I think I share the same concerns...

Theo: good yes! well, my concern is can I possibly get a companion or is it impossible?

I mean I realize we all have our classes but does that make us unable to have a pet or companion?

or if I can have a pet? could it be like a lion type or something ferocious!

Rico: to be honest I am figuring this all out like you guys.

As for a companion much like me or Rory, we didn't just tame our companions.

Mint has been with me since the beginning...

We actually tried to kill each other and only after did we become part of a companion type relationship...

As for Rory well she got plush out of an egg.

Len: so there are limits or you just don't know?

Rico: I just don't know honestly...

To be exact.

I have given you everything I know since receiving my class.

As for companions, I am going to have to say that it is dependent on the loyalty or the familiarity you have with said creature.

Rory: my companion nor, mint did anything special.

It was more Silver than them...

He is a reward or an anaclysim of my curse...

Rico: ah yes I received a blessing of a deity type being.

but I also apparently pissed off others and received curses with my blessings.

that would be Loki, Artemis, Hephaestus, and even Mammon pitched in...

Leon: I see so I am not it nor the only!

Rico: I see so just like how you are all figuring it out so am I.

from what I have gathered about the deity beings.

They don't quarrel with things below them so we won't receive much help.

Rory: it seems that we have the same diety...

I didn't even ask for my class I was just forced to be a swashbuckling merchant?

Rico: ah yes well so far what I have gathered from the curses and blessings there is a gap in the power given to one person.

it cannot exceed the deity giving it, Nor can it be given more than a set amount.

I have received a high blessing, one mid blessing, and a few low ones.

There are three rates high, mid, and low.

The same goes for the curses in which I have received three a high, a mid, and a low.

Rory: I have received a high blessing and a high curse along with one mid blessing and one low

blessing.

Rico: They are all different, no one is the same same thing with our powers everyone has something different in one way or another.

my class is on taming but I also subclass creating.

Leon: From what I have read the professor explained someone else may have that exact combo but be nowhere near.

the same proficiency or they may have even more proficiency than one could ever wish..

Theo: I get it so like those abilities, we all first received it said it would be unique to us!

Rico: right.

Kerry: I don't get it?

Kerry didn't get an ability I got a power?

Rico: huh?

Kerry: yup Kerry got herself the ability to move things with her mind!

Rico: I see i am not surprised...

Theo: ah yeah come to think of it I didn't get how to activate it but I got the ability to show illusions.

not really useful to me though.

Rico: how do you figure if you're a merchant or a swashbuckling merchant you can show people illusions of things they could buy.

but instead of them actually being that it could be an illusion just to get money!

Theo: wow that is dark...

Rico: there are some good applications for it also ...

Theo: I see, care to name a few.

Leon: yep, like tricking creatures into thinking no one is there.

Rory: it is useful in many ways.

One could make illusions of certain calms or an illusion of dreamland or even an illusion of destruction.

Svetlana: I got power ability also, I can change skin like chameleon.

Niko: I got berserkers' serene mental state.

Rico: I see so there are even different classes of ability.

Anthony: my class is called a mana manipulator.

I got it last night before I could only use one magic at a time now.

I can use two magical essences at once and as I grow I will be able to use more.

I think from what I can gather I can also bestow magic into objects.

my ability that I got was manipulation but there are so many factors like element type, power type, practicality, attack, tools, and many more.

To be honest I thought it meant manipulation of people when I first received it but it turns out it meant manipulation of energies.

Samantha: ah I don't have a class but I have that ability thing mine is called "extrasensory perception."

zain: ah mine is "physical weapon dexterity."

but I don't get it?

Leon: that is a good thing to have Eh green horn.

Zain: please don't mock my hair...

Rory: I told you it looks great.

Samantha: See I told you and plus all of us have different hair or eyes.

At least we are not all like him.

I mean if his hair all changed even that must have changed too...

So we are not the only ones, It isn't something that you should fret over.

Rory: No I didn't but it's not hard to tell with your silver pit hairs.

I mean anyone with the power of deduction would know the rest has changed with it.

Leon: haha there was an old saying about "how the carpet matches the drapes!"

Theo: So doesn't that mean she has seen the drapes and the carpet?

Zain: but I kinda want to know.

We had just met about a month after all this began and I went along with him.

We were alone.

I ended up stuck with him In some random basement during the first expansion for days on end.

Zain: Ah I remember that... we got separated from our parents and ended up stuck in a building that traveled.

We ended up close to our uncle at the university.

Rory: Same with us we got stuck under a brood nest for the first breed.

I mean we had gotten stuck once before and We had a few minor changes but.

that is how we got so many eggs.

among that time we watched each other kind of evolve...

To be what we are.

At first it was small changes then we realized that if one of us stayed up.

we would get to see it happen in humans and creatures.

Thus we spent a whole three days watching the changes we went through.

all in all, we got to see hair, nails, eyes, and even skin colors!

Completely change me.

I got to see milky white kids skin color change.

he used to be pale white but now he has a very bronze hue to his skin.

Like that, we have some embarrassing things like the fact that at night or in dark spaces his eyes glow and his hair emits a small shine.

My eyes do glow and yet I have a hundred percent sight in the dark but I cannot emit light from my hair.

Rico: There you go now you know my entire body is now differently weird.

I am not the only one I bet there is someone else out their who got it worse... I hope.

But this one time I can say I am glad that we can all talk so closely about this.

Leon: Whats wrong with this?

have you never had friends.

Rory: haha I grew up in an orphanage.

We didn't make friends we made rivals...

Rico: I grew up in a small town with only three hundred or so children.

They all knew each other well and I was the outcast...

Theo: blessed I must say with a friend like me!

But you now have us all Boss!

Leon: Bwahahaha Yeah, Blessed Nemo my Boy that's what it is!

Rico: Pfft!

is It possible for me to get that in writing!

Theo: It already is in writing, Need I remind you that you are actually Our leader, Boss, And King.

* Everyone got their jokes in on me but it felt great to laugh and get to know everyone.

I have had little experience with friends or anyone who wasn't my mother or sister.

I miss them, Don't get me wrong it is a burden I will carry but I'm only one person.

I am sure I will have to do much worse and I am prepared to take control or do anything needed for this lot here.

No matter what!

I don't know what the future holds but as a tamer I won't ignore the Creatures, I will adapt unlike any other!
