Future Husband?

"Who am I? You remember me now?" he said while looking into my eyes. I am dazed at his stare and forced myself to snapped out of it, I looked into his eyes and nodded "I think, I know you, but how did you get so thin?". He was holding his laughter but couldn't, he burst into laughing and patted my head. I am burning in humiliation, as if all of the eyes inside the plane was looking at us. He laughed again and whispered "You think I changed so much? Or did you really think I'm that fat?"...

I am in dazed, then I heard him whisper "Lala, I think you remembered me but not completely. Did something happen to you? Your memory seems to be distorted. Hmm. Never mind, you don't need to force yourself to remember me... Things will happen, even if we don't want it to. So, relax, and sleep." He then guided my head to his shoulder. I was stunned and I couldn't help but look at my best friend, she was looking at the person in front of her. She doesn't care about me at all, she is glaring daggers at my ex. I just let her be and closed my eyes and wished that this is all just a dream.

After some time, the plane landed in Taoyuan International Airport. Kayla and I waited at the lounge for the time of our ride. Brandon suddenly approached us inviting us for a free ride, but I declined. Kayla smiled at him and said, "I'm Kayla Kim and you are?" while offering her hand for a shake. He took her hand and replied, "Lalas future husband", he winked at me and whispered, "See you around, and I hope when we meet, you'll remember me", then walked away. I am shocked and so is Kayla.

"How bold, that's more I like it. He really suits you Lala"... I am speechless, my brain started to malfunction as I don't know how to argue with her right now. Kayla is still eyeing me then slapped me lightly "Wake up! Come on let's leave, I want to rest and hear your story."

We walked to the exit and looked for our ride. After a while we found the car Kayla booked and went straight to the Hotel.

I am checking my emails when Kayla walked out the bathroom "Lala, go freshen up so that you can rest". I nodded and went straight to the bathroom but went back to her and asked, "What's our activity for today?"

"Nothing, so you can take your time." Kayla read my mind, I smiled and went back in.

While soaking myself in the bathtub, I entered the dreamland...

"Stop crying over someone who left you for someone else" a handsome voice interrupted my sulking. I looked at the man in front of me, he is quite fat, but his face is stunning. He is wearing a white beach shirt and a black short. It looks good on him, though he is quite fat. His hair is curly dark ash blonde, long nose, thick brows and his deep brown eyes that sucks me into his world. He is tall, he's like someone who came from the middle east.

I am still looking at him while crying, when he pulled me into his arms and hugged me. "They say hug is a powerful thing to do to those who are sad. So, I'm going to hug you until you feel better." I was stunned by his actions, I cried louder while struggling to get away from him "Who are you?? Pervert!!!". When he heard, the "P" word he pushed me back which caused me lay down on the sand, "Ouch! You're such an asshole!! I'm still a lady, why push me so hard? It hurts!", said it to him while cleaning myself as I am covered with sand.

He looked at me coldly and said, "I don't want to be accused of being a pervert!". I looked at him and apologized then asked him who he was. He raised his brow while staring at me "You don't remember? We just exchanged numbers and we also had dinner together. And oh, we also had that Coastal cleanup. And we had so much activities and ended up here somehow. We had some drinks and you vomited a while and..."

"SHUT UP! I don't even know your name and how come are so talkative? Are you really a man?

He laughed and said "I will introduce myself again, I am Brandon Kyle Cohen. Please remember me Lala." Why did he know what my closest friends call me?

"Lala, Lala". Then a loud knock woke me up.

"Lala, Lala, what are you taking up so long, don't tell me you dozed off again." Kayla is nagging again, to make her stop, I shouted "Sorry, the water relaxes me that's why I slept, don't worry, I'll just rinse myself. I'll be out in a minute"

"You better be, I'm now hungry. Hurry up"
