Some part of it is written for someone who was and still the love of my life, I'm not hoping for this to reach him, but in doing this somehow made a way to tell the words I'm dying to say to him. No one might understand it, but this book is all about my regret and all the feelings I have for a certain someone.

Love and Encounter

I was stunned by his bluntness, I wonder if he's in his right state of mind. Who on earth will say something that to the person you just met. Well maybe they can, if they're crazy. I am still thinking when he flicked my forehead which made me shout in pain. Suddenly the librarian came over and said "If you two are not studying, please go out."


I smiled and apologized, then I looked at the man in front of me "Mr. are you serious? Why? And home? I really don't get you."


He just smiled and said "What can I do, I really like you". Then he took my phone, I tried to grab it back but he is quick. He dialed something and his phone vibrated, then he left. Just like that, I am still shocked and trying to calm myself if that was a joke. My heart is still beating fast as I was looking at his retreating back. I asked myself if I fell in love just now or I'm just nervous for talking to someone I don't even know.


As I am seeing our first meeting, Kayla pinched me to bring me back to reality. I winced in pain and said "Why did you do that? It really hurts you know!"


She laughed and said "Please don't visit that memory lane anymore Lala. Remember, he left and don't give me any justification to his actions because it will not gonna work."


I wanted to stop her ranting but she glared at me and said "Please let's eat and head back to the hotel. Let's take a nap, our day will be filled with activities tomorrow."


I nodded and smiled at her. As I recalled the past, I'm thinking, if it has something to do with me, that's why he suddenly left. But everything led me to a conclusion that I am not enough for him.


We finished our food then walked back to the hotel. As we were waiting for the elevator, a couple suddenly showed up and waited with us. I am busy browsing at our photos taken a while back when Kayla suddenly talked.


"Ohh. What a small world. You stay in this hotel too? How are you Zach?" as she said his name I slowly looked at them. The girl looking at me coldly, as if I am about to steal something from her. Zach smiled and looked at me while talking "Yes, such a small world. It's been years Kaykay. I'm still doing fine. And by the way this is my fiancé, Charlotte Li."


As they exchanged some pleasantries, I am still in an awe, and a voice inside my mind kept on saying "Calm down Lala, you are far more beautiful than this woman in front you. You are a doctor."


The elevator suddenly opened and I rushed inside, while those three took their time. I am at the back when suddenly Charlotte looked at me and said "I heared that you are a doctor? And your last name is Roslin. Are you perhaps related to the business tycoon who's last name is Roslin?"


I am confused, why she's asking me this, I don't want to talk to her but I have no choice. I smiled and said "I haven't heard any business tycoons with the same last name as mine, maybe it's just a coincidence, having the same last name with that person." She smiled and said "You know, your family name is quite unique and I heard that this old man is looking for her granddaughter. Are you perhaps the young miss of the Roslins?.


I am irritated as I saw them together and with all her questions I am now angry. I looked at Zach coldly and then at this girl named Charlotte while saying "Who are you? And why are you interested in my life? Do I know you for me to answer all of your questions?. We are not close for me to give you any information about my life." as I was talking the elevator reached our floor and opened. 


"Oh, we're here Kaykay, goodbye Mr. Zach and Ms. Charlotte. And I hope we never cross paths ever again" as I said my piece I dragged Kayla out of the elevator and walked towards our room.
