Prologue I

22 BBY, Otosif Plantation in Cif

THE GALAXY WAS NOW DIVIDED.

The times had become rough around the galaxy. Instead of a single galaxy, many factions tore apart the galaxy for their own. Apart from the major Republic and Separatists, many worlds stood on their own and apart from the separation of the majority galaxy. Cif was such.

Cif became a planet tugged between the separatist and republic. However since the Separatists had a secret army, Cif was taken into their hand. Droids led the planet taking every single one of its resources by slavery, following Dooku. Billions of plantations turned the planet brown, black and shiny. The Republic strayed away from the planet to avoid another costly war since all they had was a system and planetary militia.

For the Kordall family, they thought their child was going to be enslaved like them. They believed that even under bondage they should do the right thing. Always! They would always remind their precious daughter to do the same once she grew. But today she lay asleep, clearly early in the morning, she was fast asleep.

Mother Kordall and her husband sat waiting in their clay dome. It was roomy but small, with just one bedroom, a living space with a kitchen and a workspace which kept the house smelling like fresh Kiwip grass. They had just finished farming tons of stacks of the vegetable, but after hearing the big news they rushed to find the daughter sleeping. It seemed as if their child would be leaving them.

"I want you to know," Mother Kordall held the child's little hands, full of tears, "that we'll always love you no matter what!"

"Yes my love, you'll be in a better place than this scum!" the father spat the little sweat bead that crawled into his mouth.

"Hey watch your tongue creature!" a droid watching over them kicked him. The mother being angered began running towards the droid. "Stand down, you skent!" the droid barked while the mother came running, but before it could strike down the mother, a hooded figure held the droid back.

"That's not necessary, please!" she smiled as the droid retracted. "I'm sorry but I should leave, I can't stay any longer." The hooded figure took down her hood revealing a beaut. She had four nice and heavy braids streaking down her head, with golden-brown skin and green/brown heterochromic eyes. Dressed in white linen, she seemed like an angel. It was a perfect disguise.

"Xido, what are you doing here?!" the mother recognized her right away. "They'll kill you if they find out!" she tried to lower her voice once she crept closer to Xido. She couldn't believe her eyes one bit.

"No, they won't. Trust me," she smiled in assurance. Looking around, "You sure, you don't wanna get out of here?" Xido knew Lady Kordall for a while and never wanted to see her in this situation, as a slave. She knew little Kordall was gifted and even between worlds she provided the child with lessons. But today was the day she would be recruited.

"We can't leave," the mother smiled back kindly. "Take her under your wings, take care of her; for me alright?"

"With my life!" she promised, holding her hand tightly. Passing the child on, she rested on Xido's shoulder. Wrapping her hands onto her, Xido swaddled her into a heavy white blanket. "Oh by the way," she sneaked a holoprojector into her pocket. "Use this whenever you're alone and you'll be able to talk to her!"

"Thank you so much!" the mother hugged her, puddled in tears. As the hug prolonged, the droid that stayed with them became restless.

"Move on with it!"

"Alright! Cool it!" she proceeded as she kissed the mother goodbye and hugged the father, "be strong, for her."

Going outside towards the raining planet. The droid covered Xido with an umbrella and escorted the two into a speeder; where her staff laid ready. "Drive!" The droid commanded the astromech.

Looking backwards she wept for the family, but she knew she was doing it for the daughter's sake and hopefully for the galaxy's sake. This baby was special, she was gifted. If the droids knew, she would be compromised and used for their purposes.

"Aren't you a little cute one?" she rubbed her warm face, letting out little cute snores. "Today you will be free!"

The ship headed towards the hangar but the closer they got the slower the speeder went. The astromech turned its bowl head to watch the bright-white clothed angel and the baby. Behind its camera watched the plantation owner, the superior droid.

"Scan her biometrics," the superior droid ordered while the droid silently scanned. Therefore, Xido's information, even history, all were displayed up at the main screen. Her profile was an innocent young adult who looked rich, harmless and easy to kill. "Stop the speeder, and take her riches!"

The astromech stopped right near the hangar while Xido rested her arms among the top of the seat and the door wondering what's going on.

"Step out of the speeder!" a droid walked up and commanded with its staff held high and it's posture ready for attack. She read it's posture and laughed.

"Come on, you see me carrying a child?" she began toying with them.

"We don't play games here you skent, this isn't your planet!" the droid snapped.

"Alright, fine!" Xido began opening the door with both hands visible, silently her staff retracted into a smaller staff; almost looking like a hilt of some sort. The astromech noticed and alerted the superior droid. She walked out, cautiously.

An alarm blared in the control room and outshouted "weapon detected!"

"Take her down, NOW!" hundreds of droids ran towards her area, lifting their blasters they began firing.

Xido called the hilt and it came flying into her hand. Igniting it, a light-blue blade appeared emitting a warm buzzing sound that repelled the rain. As she twirled the weapon side to side, it deflected blasts back to the droids. Some droids came within close range and attempted flying kicks, sweeping kicks and sliding tackles. However, with her amazing combats skills, she slashed the droids like grass; cutting them down one by one. Using the force she telekinetically pushed, grabbed and shoved droids away while deflecting blasts.

Before other droids began quick-firing, she ignited the other end of the hilt revealing a double blade sabre. Spinning the living soul out of it she created a shield in front of her as the blasts ran back to the droids.

"Release the walkers," the droid watched on.

"Hey there, little girl. I need you to keep sleeping, so we're gonna run to my ship alright?" she plugged her ears, but in the corner of her eye, she spotted missiles screaming towards her. She strapped the baby tight and prepared for the missiles; looking onwards she could spot three walkers coming her way.

As the machines walked towards her, all threatening. Retracting one end of the sabre she left the other ignited. She began running towards them but before the missiles could even touch her, she hit them like a bat one by one and the missiles ran back to the walkers resulting in a big explosion that severed the nearby crops.

"Noooo!" the droid punched through the table in anger. "Get every droid to that hangar!"

She ran to her ETA Shuttle and strapped into the seat, speedily she started the engine. As the droids came close to the hanger they began identifying the ship but the ship blasted off before they could get a clear read.

"Sorry boss, we couldn't get a clear read!" a hangar droid called in.

"Don't worry I know that ship," the superior droid sat back down. "She and I will have much to talk about!"

"Roger, roger!"
