FUNERAL

"What is happening here?" Jennifer walked into the room only to see a heap of dead men and a man tied to a chair. Jason, Leo and George were also present.

The man's hand was fixed upon the chair and George was hammering nails on it. The man was screaming aloud.

"Stop George." Jennifer commanded. She looked like a total different person. The coldness in her eyes could even freeze the flame of a candle. She no longer looked like the sweet girl who had asked her mother to cook 'Les Petits Mitrons'. The aura she was emitting was so powerful that the man tied to the chair was unable to look at her, he was simply shivering by the coldness in her voice.

"Who are they? And where is he?"

Silence enveloped the place. Jason pointed in the corner where a table was placed, a cold soulless body was covered with a black cloth. Jennifer made her way to the table and lifted the cloth up. "Felix" her breathe hitched, 'How could...Felix be dead.." she murmured. She felt a hand on her shoulder, it was Jason. "He fought very hard Jen, he killed all those men." He pointed at the heap of men lying dead in the middle of the room.

Jennifer closed her eyes. She seemed to be praying for his soul to rest in peace.

It was a practice of the Black Panther group that whenever their group person dies they hammer nails in that part of the killer which he used to kill the member. Naturally Jennifer recognised that someone died when George was hammering nails in the man's hand. But she did not expect it to be Felix.

When Jennifer opened her eyes they were instantly covered with the bloodlust.

"Leo arrange for his funeral now. We will then take care of this man." Jennifer pointed at the man, who nearly peed in his pants due to her frightening glare.

Jennifer always held the funeral of her team members in the open space which was in the left side of the house. The ground was about 10 acres in length and 5 acres in breadth. This was also the reason why people feared coming in the house as they sort of imagine themselves in the graveyard due to the superficial activities.

Leo had arranged all the required materials for the funeral. It lasted for about an hour.

"Where is that man?"

"He is with Jason on the first floor. What should we do with him Jenny?" Leo carefully asked Jennifer as the man who died was like a brother to Jennifer.

"Wait for me in the room. Leave me alone for a while."

"Ok."

Everyone thus went back in the house leaving Jennifer alone in the graveyard.

"I am sorry Felix. I could not save you." Jennifer slowly bent down on her knees. There was silence everywhere, only the rustling of the tree leaves, the chirping of birds was heard. The look in her eyes was complicated, she wanted to cry out her grievance but could not shed a tear. She was reminiscing her past moments with Felix.
