ROMANTIC LIFE IS STILL A BIG 'NO'

Like some other day, Jennifer got ready for her daily classes.

Yes, she was a little nervous to face Emmett.

'I should probably act like nothing happened.'

She went down and had her breakfast.

"How are your classes going dear?"

"Fine mom. Your daughter is doing great. "

"Yes, yes I know you will do great. But just doing great in studies is of no use. When are you going to find yourself a boyfriend?"

Jennifer chocked on her saliva, *Cough* *Cough* *Cough*!!!

She was trying hard to forget that embarrassing thing which happened yesterday night. She suddenly remembered Ava's suggestion of dating Emmett. She shook her head to clear those nonsensional thoughts.

'Gosh, it will be a tough day today!'

"Ah, mom I want to study hard. I can find a boyfriend after my studies."

"You have already said that numerous times. Try to find some other excuses."

Jennifer was embarrassed, "Mom, I will surely find a boyfriend till I turn 30. You should not worry. I will be going now, bye bye..."

Without waiting for Mary to continue, Jennifer ran out of the house.

"This girl, always finds excuses. She will be 23 this year. I should probably call her father to give her some advice."

Mary sighed and called her husband.

"Hello, darling! What are you doing? Do you miss me?"

"Yes, my dear wife I miss you a lot. I was just going to call you. I am going to come home soon."

"Really? When are you coming back? Is Ron coming back with you?" Mary got excited when she heard that her husband was going to come home. She missed him a lot. It was almost one year since she last saw him. She also hoped to see her son Ron, who had gone for 5 long years for the military training.

"He will not be coming now, his training will end this year. He will probably be coming on Christmas eve."

"Hmm, by the way I called you to complain about our little princess. She is going to be 23 soon and her romantic life is still a big 'NO'. You know how enthusiastic she was in her teenage. She used to have crush on handsome boys and used to flirt too. Now it seems as though she has something weighing on in her mind. She acts as though she is all good, but I am her mother. I know that she hides something from me. I hope that she will open up. I want you to talk with her." Mary was very much concerned about her daughter. The changes which had taken place in her were very clearly visible. Even if she was trying to fool everyone as though nothing was wrong with her. But Mary is her mother, a mother always understands her child the best, even if no one else does.

"She is just 23 dear, this is modern era now. Most of the girls start dating after 25. You should not worry about her. And if you think something is wrong with her then I will talk with her after I come back. Will this do?"

"Yep, this will certainly do. Come back soon then. Also tell Ron that Mumma misses him a lot. Bye then, I will not disturb you."

"Hmm, bye dear."
