'WHY DIDN'T THAT DAMN WOMAN CALLED HIM?'

Back in her hotel room, Jennifer lied on the bed in a thought.

They had to go back to the company in the afternoon after lunch. As the company was situated walking distance from their hotel, everyone decided to have their lunch here itself.

"Hey, what are you thinking Alissa? You look lost. Did something happen?" Ava asked her friend, concerned.

"I am all right Ava. Just thinking about something. By the way you have a very weird cousin. His screw must be loose." Jennifer pointed at her temple.

Ava laughed heartily. In the past the girls around her would always praise her brother and try to curry her favour. But Jennifer was different. She would badmouth him whenever given a chance.

"Yes, yes you are right. Brother is behaving weirdly, ever since he started getting interest in you." Ava murmured softly.

"Ah, what did you say? I didn't heard it?"

"Oh nothing, nothing. You continue with your thinking."

In a Presidential suite,

Emmett was continuously staring at his cell phone. It was nearly half an hour since he was in this position without a single movement.

Travis was watching his boss confusedly.

'Why is he staring at his phone? That too his personal phone. Did something major happened; for him to look at it this intensely?'

Travis mustered up his courage and spoke, "Is something bothering you master?"

"Ah?" Emmett asked absentmindedly.

"Um...you are starting at your phone for quite sometime now. Is there some problem?"

Upon hearing Travis voice second time, Emmett came out of his dazed state. But in the next second he glared at Travis. His lips twitched,

Was it that obvious?

Travis then understood. His mater must be waiting for miss Alissa's call or message. How can he forget that his master never gives his personal number to anyone, but miss Alissa was the exception.

Emmett looked back at his phone in a frown, 'Why didn't that damn woman called him?'

Just when he was about to get up from his chair, his phone buzzed twice indicating two incoming messages.

He immediately checked his message column only to find two messages from Ron.

His frown deepened, visually upset with the other person.

But he still opened the message. It read,

[Ron: Master, I had tried collecting clues about the phone, but we lost it's signal near Seine River. Maybe the enemy came to know about us tracking them.]

[Ron: One more thing, the Guerrilla gang members are seen near our premises.]

Emmett just replied in a sentence, which made Ron's vein pop on his head.

[Master: You have got a worthy opponent, time to work hard.]

He mentally cursed Emmett, 'Boss I have been working for two days continuously in finding clues, do you want me dead now?'

All the students gathered in a hall for lunch. Emmett usually did not like mixing in public, but he came today only to see Jennifer, who was missing from the hall.

'Was this woman planning on hiding from him?'

His guess was indeed true. Jennifer just ate few snacks and decided to stay in the room, so that she would not have to face the devil at least for sometime.

She convinced Ava in believing that she did not have much appetite and asked her to call her once they finished with their lunch.
