HER BIGGEST FEAR

No one spoke through the entire journey.

Soon they arrived at Matthew's home. His wife was standing at the door. She welcomed them, and acted more politely towards Emmett. Her husband had informed her that he was a big businessman. He didn't mention who he was, but had asked her to treat him politely.

Mrs.Rabin was stunned with Emmett's beauty, but she adjusted herself and spoke in a calm voice, hiding her admiration for him.

"Please come in. My husband had already called me and informed about your visit."

"It's okay Mrs.Rabin, we are fine. It's an emergency, so we would like to take the batteries and return back as soon as possible." Jennifer politely declined him.

Mrs.Rabin turned towards Emmett, "We would do whatever she says."

They now looked like a couple, going along with the what the other says.

Mrs.Rabin gave them the batteries and walked them to the main gate.

Jennifer bid her goodbye and got into Emmett's car.

The return journey was a little less awkward for Jennifer.

Emmett had started talking about business.

He asked her about the inspection report on her side.

They soon arrived at the company.

Jennifer went to give Matthew the batteries, while Emmett went to take a phone call.

"Did Mis.... Emmett go with you?" Matthew asked somewhat nervous.

"Yes, why? Do you need him for something?" Jennifer smiled.

"Ah, no you can go. Thank you." Matthew smiled back at her.

Jennifer took her leave and went back to the room assigned to her and Emmett.

After a full day of work, everyone was damn tired.

They ate their dinner and immediately went into their rooms and on their bed.

Jennifer got a message from Alissa,

[Alissa: Sis Amy, It's someone from Caliph's people.They had a photo of Leo's phone. You don't have to worry though, as they just have the outer photo of the phone and have no data regarding the inner parts. But why would Caliph get by trying to drive a wedge between us and Lucifer?]

[Sis Amy: Maybe they would profit from this. You know that they are also very powerful and are the only one who dare to fight Lucifer.]

Jennifer's heart was thumping and her fingers were shaking when she was replying back to Alissa.

It was him. Her biggest fear.

Did he got to know about her?

No she couldn't let that happen. He should not know that she was still alive.

But why would an employee from 'WDSC' say that it was his design. She would have to talk to him personally.

Two days passed by smoothly. Emmett didn't tease her, as she would start to get irritated of him and he probably wouldn't want that.

It was the last day of their stay. Jennifer as usual got ready early in the morning.

As she was walking in the lobby, she noticed two men in black whispering among themselves. She didn't paid attention to them and decided to walk past them.

But when she came near them, she heard one speak, "Boss has order us to do the work today itself. The students are going to go to the company at around 7am and would come back to the dinner. As it is the last day today, the dinner would be held on the terrace. Our target should die today."

The other whispered, "What are we gonna do?"

The man answered, "We are gonna start f..."

He was interrupted with a ringing of phone.

He lowered his voice, "It's boss...." He told the other man.

"Hello boss....yes you don't have to worry, we will do your work today."

The man ended the phone, with sweaty hands.

The other man asked, "What happened? What did boss say?"

"He said that if we fail to complete the task then we will have to kill ourselves. And you know if we didn't then what will boss do."

The other one gulped fearfully.

Jennifer was shocked. Even if she didn't understand, about whom they were talking, but she knew that today something major would happen and she had to stop this.
