"Can you ask the manager to stop the water in the sprinklers for a while?" Jennifer turned towards Emmett.
Emmett stared at her for three seconds and then finally spoke, "Okay."
Emmett was surprised that the little woman knew how to handle these type of situations. If he was the one in her position, he would surely use the tools to extinguish the fire rather than using a natural way.
'The girl surely has a lot of experience,' He thought.
The manager was informed of the fire, he immediately made his way towards the terrace, after ordering his staff to close the sprinklers.
After Jennifer confirmed that the sprinklers were closed she spoke, "Ava, now turn the sprinklers in the direction of the door."
Ava who heard Jennifer immediately went near the nearest sprinkler and tried to turn it around.
Andrew also decided to help his daughter. He went to another sprinkler.
"It isn't budging Alissa. What should I do?" Ava tried hard but the sprinkler wasn't moving a slightest bit, then she turned towards her father.
It was the same for Andrew. He stared at Ava who was looking at him and spoke, "It is not moving."
Just then Jennifer spoke, "Try hard Ava. The manager here told that the sprinklers are movable. Use your strength to the fullest." But Ava being a girl who lived a luxurious life, was weak and didn't have enough strength in her.
Jennifer looked at the men who were standing like statues in a corner. She really wanted to kick them. They were just standing and looking at the two, without helping them.
Jennifer couldn't take it anymore. She raised her voice, "What are you all dumbass doing? Watching a girl and your own Principal trying to help extinguishing the fire and you are doing nothing but standing like it's your own garden!!"
Jennifer's voice was girly and high pitched. But it still caused a chill run down their spines. They were finally able to get out from their dazed state.
With embarrassed faces they went to help the two.
Finally after a lot of efforts they were able to move the sprinklers.
For moving the six sprinklers they needed thirty men. Jennifer really wished that she should have been the one inside.
Those thirty people took fifteen minutes to move the sprinklers.
"It is done Alissa. Now, what should we do?" Ava spoke while wiping her sweat with a handkerchief.
"Just go and stand in the corner." Jennifer had an authoritative voice, which made the others follow her words. They silently retreated back in the corner.
Jennifer turned towards the manager, "On the sprinklers. Turn the water and increase the pressure to the fullest."
It was a good thing that the hotel had sprinklers which had a single hole at the side of the pipe structure.
The manager ordered the staff to start the sprinklers and increase the pressure to the fullest.
As soon as the sprinklers started, the water came out with a great force. This successfully reduced the fire.
Everyone turned happy the moment they saw this. But their happiness didn't last long as the water suddenly stopped.
"F*ck" Jennifer cursed under her breathe. "What the hell happened?" She turned towards the manager.
The manager was so frightened by her voice that he took few steps back in fear.
"I don't know. I will ask immediately miss."
The manager made a phone call, "What!! You muddle headed person. How did the water tank become empty? What! There was a leakage. F*cking leakage?? You sco*drels!! Better wait for your punishments."
Jennifer had already heard the manager. She closed her eyes to hide her fury.
The person had planned everything perfectly. He was just playing with them.
He knew that his opponent would use the sprinklers. And what's more that he wanted to play with them.
Jennifer was well aware of Adam's schemes. He always let his enemies enjoy the short amount of happiness but then mercilessly makes them helpless at last.
Hadn't he done same thing with her two years ago. He let her free and let her enjoy her freedom for merely a day and then he caged her in his special room.
That was the worst period in Jennifer's life. She had several nightmares because of that place.
Until she freed herself. Freed her mind and body from that place.
