THAT WAS THE WORST MEMORY FOR HER

Travis cleared his throat to catch her attention, "Miss, Master asked you to wait. He would be coming soon."

Jennifer acknowledged him with a 'hmm'.

Slouching a little, she took out her phone and turned it on.

While she was on her way to the terrace, she had switched off her phone.

Looking at her logs, she saw that Ava had called her twice and some calls were also from Alissa.

Clicking on Ava's name, she put the phone near her ear.

Just when the phone connected, she heard a loud voice, she instinctively took the phone away from her ear.

"Where the hell were you Alissa? Am I still your friend, huh? Why had you switched off your phone? Do you know how worried I was. I thought you were ladynapped and would have filled a complaint in the police station, if I would have not found you after one day. You scared the hell out of me, stupid girl. Oh, by the way where are you? Why aren't you in the room yet?" Ava kept ranting and scolding Jennifer.

Even though her voice was loud and it made Jennifer's ears hurt, she felt a warmth surge in her heart.

It was two years since someone cared about her like that. Leaving her family and her some freinds, no one actually cared about her.

Those who had, had broken her trust and betrayed her just for materialistic things, given by that person.

Jennifer was a very socialistic person, two years ago. Never would have she thought that she would have to live, hiding like this.

But for achieving her revenge, she had to do that. If not, then they would again lock her back into that room.

Thinking about the room, Jennifer felt her hair stand on her skin.

That was the worst memory for her. That room, that sounds....That moans..that everything was just unbearable for her.

Ava's voice brought her back to the present, away from that dreadful memory. "Why are you not speaking? Are you Alissa or not? Or are you the ladynapper who ladynapped her?"

Chuckling at the words used by Ava, Jennifer assured her, "You don't have to worry Ava, I am alright. It's just that my mother called me and I had to go back to home. My phone was not charged and hence I couldn't call you. After reaching home, the first thing I did was to charge my phone and the first person I called after was you."

"Oh..so it was that. But did something happened to aunty? Is she alright?"

"No, she is alright. It's just that my father came home today and he has to go back today itself. You know that he is in army and hence he does not get that many holidays. It has been a year since I last saw him, so I returned back home, after mother called me. I am sorry for making you worried, I didn't mean to do so." Jennifer flatly lied, without batting an eye.

Travis who heard the girl speaking on the phone was shocked when he heard the name Ava. But then again this must be a coincidence, he thought.

There were many woman whose name was Ava, so it was nothing new.

He shrugged at the doubt that she must be his Master's cousin.

"It's okay, as long as you are fine Alissa. Don't worry I would inform the Principal for the reason of your absence."

Jennifer totally forgot about the Professors and the Principal. How was she going to explain this now?
