BUT THE MAN IN FRONT OF HER WAS LIKE AN ICE STATUE, WHO BARELY SHOWED ANY EMOTIONS ON HIS FACE

She knew that this man would not speak unless she opens her mouth.

So she started, "You see I have my reasons for...." Jennifer suddenly stopped, as if she remembered something and looked towards Travis who was trying to make himself look invisible.

It was like, 'You couldn't hide from the eyes of the devil.' Travis moved forward a little so that he would easily be visible.

Getting the meaning behind her look, Travis turned back towards his Master for further instructions.

Emmett glanced towards Travis and looked back at Jennifer who was looking in Travis's direction.

Emmett narrowed his eyes at this.

'Why was this woman looking at his assistant?'

Emmett turned his head back gloomily at Travis who was going to leave after receiving his Master's look.

The second he looked at his Master, he wanted nothing but to disappear from the room at that instance.

'Master what did this servant do to receive your terrifying look!!' Travis went out of the room crying bitterly in his heart.

Jennifer looked back at Emmett when Travis went out of the room, leaving only the both of them.

She was taken aback by the look in his eyes, which had changed from the previous amusement to something gloomy and dark.

Or was it anger?

She couldn't decipher the look. It didn't look like he was angry but it somewhat look like the one she had seen once and was afraid to see it again.

But she when she once again looked into his eyes, they were back looking at her with a hint of amusement and curiosity, even though his poker face never changed into some other emotions.

Jennifer was confused. Maybe she saw wrong, but why did she feel that the man in front of her had a jealous look in his eyes.

Jennifer internally smacked herself.

'How could this useless fellow be jealous, when in fact nothing had happened.'

Jennifer was well versed in capturing ones emotions through their eyes. It was one of the part of the training she had received in her childhood.

But the man in front of her was like an ice statue, who barely showed any emotions on his face.

She decided to continue what she was going to say as the man in front of her showed no signs of talking.

"So you see I had my own reasons for hiding my real face. Even if you know now, I wish you would help me keep this secret. No in fact I don't wish, but you will have to keep this a secret." Jennifer openly tried to threaten him by changing her tone at the last.

But the man appeared as though he was not at all intimated by her look.

He began to walk in her direction with the same amused look and bent down in front of her slightly so that he could look into her eyes.

If Jennifer didn't know that he was a gay, then she would definitely have thought that this man was trying to openly flirt with her.

She didn't know what he was doing, because all she could see at that time was his deep black orbs which held something, which she couldn't understand.

She felt as though his eyes were trying to pull her into them, into the world she had not yet experienced.

But who was she? She was a known She-devil in the underworld, who had come across various things. She had even fought death once, but she still felt that there was something very deep and dark in those eyes that may take her to the complete opposite world, she never knew of.

She came back of her reverie, when she felt the man's hand moving towards the cloth she had her half face covered with.
