Adam had clicked the remote, from which he had previously removed the chip, so that the men inside the warehouse could hear him.
"Boss...boss what did we do?" They were literally begging him.
Adam just smiled, "You shouldn't be asking me this, should you?"
The men sweated hard as they saw the wolf dogs coming their way. They would have fight with them, if they were full conscious. But now they had inhaled the chemical and now were feeling weak.
They shifted in a corner, but that didn't seem to work as the wolf dogs in front of them looked like they were going to jump on the five men.
The leader spokingly whispered, "Let's go in the cages." The others hurriedly nodded.
With whatever energy they had, they scurried towards the cages and shut the doors, leaving the wolf dogs out while they locked themselves inside.
Adam laughed at their antics. Did they think that he would let them leave alive from the warehouse?
They were totally wrong. He was going to make sure that they enjoy his hospitality.
The men sighed when they entered the cages. At least they would be able to save themselves this way.
The leader knelt as he spoke, "What did we do boss? Please let us go. I beg you."
The others too followed his lead as they knelt beside him.
"Please let us go boss." They sang together, making Adam laugh at them.
"Hmm....let me think." He put his forefinger on his chin, acting as though he was considering their words.
The men felt hopeful. Even though they were mercenaries and were taught to have no emotions and sympathy for others. But they were truly afraid of death.
They were Red cards not Black or Golden who didn't care about their deaths and just followed their masters.
Being in the low level cards, they feared death. And the first thing they would do in a life threatening situation was to look ways to save themselves.
And now they had the same thoughts.
Adam knew what was going on their minds and he was going to take advantage of this thing.
"Why should I let you go when all you do is to speak nonsense?"
The five badly wanted to deny, but they knew that doing this would only lead them to be punished more heavily.
The leader was the first one, who started bowing down and pleading for mercy, "We are sorry boss. We did wrong, please let us go."
Rubbing his nose on the floor he begged. He knew that his boss was a nuisance who liked people bowing down in front of him. That would make him feel a sense of superiority.
But now Adam had reached his limits and he wasn't interested in listening to the five men, whom he was going to kill today.
"Why are you pleading, when you don't even know what you did wrong?"
The men gulped at his voice, which had turned menacing.
In a small voice the leader asked, "What wrong did we do boss?"
At his tone, Adam smiled sweetly. He didn't look like a man who had locked five men in the warehouse, for them to die.
The leader wanted to break his boss's head and look what was filled inside. His boss changed his colours very frequently along with his moods. He was truly fitted to be called a maniac man.
