"Move away." Jennifer tried to mask her blushing face with a cold look.
But that didn't quite turn well as in Emmett's eyes she looked like a cute and angry kitten.
He chuckled and move further towards her, causing their body to stick together.
Jennifer had to hold her breath for a few seconds due to the closeness they happened to share now.
He was dangerously close to her and she could feel his muscles under her hands as she had put her hands on his chest in order to push him away, which wasn't possible as he had thoroughly trapped her.
Jennifer cursed her inability to fight him whenever they were this close.
She didn't know what it was but she would suddenly loose her strength when it comes to him.
Their closeness had started to affect her in some way which she hadn't felt before, but did now.
Her heart was beating in an unknown rhythm, which she hadn't experienced till now.
Last time when they were kissing, her thoughts were muddled and she couldn't think straight and then on the bed in the early morning, she was still sleepy and her mind was not clear.
But this was a different situation. She was fully conscious now. Nor was she sleepy and neither dazed.
She didn't know why but she suddenly felt an urge to roam her hand all over his abs.
This closeness was affecting her a lot. She could just see the man in front of her and the world around her appeared to have stopped.
"Why should I move away, en? Do you feel something different when I am this close to you? Does your heart flutter?"
Why was this shamelessly asking her such questions?
Jennifer wanted to refute, 'Why would my heart flutter for you, a gay?!'
But she didn't because she began thinking about his words.
'Does my heart flutter, because of him? No, no this must be because he acted unexpectedly. Yes, yes that must be the reason.'
"What nonsense are you spouting? Why would my heart flutter for you? You think too highly of yourself." Jennifer made a face, which made Emmett laugh at her.
"Why are you laughing? Do you think I am joking?" Jennifer glared at him.
Emmett looked at the girl who was muttering incoherent words, which she hadn't herself realized yet. She was probably nervous hence she was trying to hide her nervousness with words.
He so wanted to kiss her there for her cuteness. But that would frighten her and she would again start with her endless questions.
But he wouldn't just leave her like that. Her beautiful face had already affected him to certain degree. Hence he left a light kiss on her forehead, "We will talk later, okay? We have a lot of time ahead of us. Let's now go back inside, we have to return back to Paris. Your mother is waiting for us."
Jennifer was dazed due to being kissed by him. She stood frozen on her spot and didn't react for quite sometime. Finally she blinked her eyes and held her cheeks, which she felt had turned somewhat warm.
She then slowly touched the spot on her forehead which had just been kissed by the devil. She could still feel the soft sensation on that spot.
Glaring at the direction he had just left, she started to walk in the same direction.
As if suddenly remembering something, she stopped in her place.
The man had reaction today when she was kissing him as she had touched his 'that' part.
How was it possible for a gay to show reaction towards a girl?
Her eyes widened in horror, as she came to think about something.
Had he always been straight?
Jennifer scrambled out of the balcony, her mind confused and muddled due to the new found truth.
'Was he always straight?'
She decided to confirm it. Making her way towards Emmett's room, she knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Opening the door she walked inside.
"I want to ask a question." Her tone was firm.
Emmett looked at her as he packed his bag.
"There is no need to ask for my permission. You can freely ask me whatever you want."
Jennifer decided not to go around in circles, so she asked, "Why did you have....."
The ringing of a phone stopped her midway.
Emmett looked over his shoulder and found his phone ringing when he had just opened the cupboard to carry out his suits.
"Just a minute." Emmett picked up his phone and his brows furrowed in annoyance when he saw Axel's name on it.
He clicked on the answer button, but he also accidentally ended up clicking on the loud speaker in the process. Immediately after an exited voice came through the other side of the phone, "My DARLING!! What are you doing now? Have you cooled down? I am sorry for doing all that things, please forgive me okay? I would KISS you when you come here, so please don't be mad, alright?" Axel blabbered all at once in a breath, without giving Emmett a chance to interrupt him.
Jennifer had her mouth opened wide in shock as she heard a male voice through the phone.
Darling??
Kiss??
She felt her head buzz as she stood rooted on her place, speechless.
What was this all?
Had she misunderstood him? Was he really a gay?
Was the man on the phone his boyfriend??
Jennifer felt conflicted with the sudden information. She was already aware that he was a gay but she still didn't like any other man calling him with such sweet words.
This was the first time someone had called him in such an intimate manner in front of her.
While the girl was shocked and confused by what Axel had said, Emmett had a cold look on his face.
He looked as though he was ready to kill someone and his expression was frighteningly menacing.
Emmett turned off the speakers and looked at the girl who had yet to return to her senses.
He sighed and massaged his temples.
How was he going to explain this to her now?
Why had his life become this complicated?
Though the commotion his friend had caused in a sense helped him, but he didn't like that he was called with such names in front of his girlfriend.
__
Axel being on the other side of the phone didn't sense anything and continued to bombard him with questions.
After ranting for a bit, he sensed that something was wrong.
Why was there a pin-drop silence on the other side of the phone?
Removing the phone from his ear, he checked the screen to make sure that the call was still on and hadn't disconnected.
'Ahhh!! What happened?'
His friend had never kept quite when he had teased him like this in the past.
Whenever Emmett would be angry with him, he would use the same trick and tease him.
It had already happened quite a few times in the past.
But Emmett had warned him every time he had teased him in such a manner.
This was the only way Axel could think of so that his friend would talk with him.
