In the courtyard of Lannisport castle, Aslan looked at Lyanna and the 3 royal guards.
Axel, Sandor and the master were dismissed for rest.
Aslan looked at the group of Lyanna, Arthur, Gerols, and Oswell with an unreadable expression. Lyanna had become cold as ice and the royal guards were uncomfortable. Aslan could become the reason for Lyanna's transformation.
During their trip to Lannisport Lyanna heard rumors of what happened to the Stark. At first, she was incredulous but when asking Arthur, the truth was revealed to her.
Her father and brother were cruelly killed by Aerys when they came to save her. At first, Lyanna cried and then fell silent before becoming as cold as ice, she let no feelings appear.
Aslan sighed, every action brings a consequence.
He sent the group to rest from his long journey, but the royal guards wanted to meet the queen and the prince. Aslan let them go and he went to his office.
In the past few days, Aslan was transferring countless supplies to his galleon and frigates for the crossing to Essos. The trip would last 6 months if there is no storm and Aslan planned to stop to rest in the summer islands a few days before continuing on their way.
Aslan's destination was the city of Tolos in Slaver's Bay. Tolos is a town located on the border between the Bay of Serfs and the Lands of constant summer. It is an important port city but inferior to Mereen, Astapor or Yunkai. Talos was also linked to the three Ghiscari towns and to Mantarys by the demon road, of bad reputation, crossing the south coast of Essos from east to west, from Meereen to Volantis.
Aslan wanted this city because it was an important strategic point that would allow rapid development in Essos and he could take control of the only land route from Essos to the south.
As he thought of the future, a messenger entered urgently.
"My lord! We are under attack!"
Aslan casually looked at the messenger.
"Mm ... by whom? The forces of the new king?"
"... No ... The Greyjoy fleet ..."
"..."
Aslan jumped up and headed for the port of Lannisport.
In 10 minutes, Aslan was on the ramparts facing the port of Lannisport. In front of him were hundreds of ships.
"Shit! They fucked us!"
The Greyjoys chose the best time to attack. Aslan planned to leave Essos by sea and the Greyjoys hindered them. Aslan was not worried because his fleet could massacre that of the Greyjoys because of its firepower but it was always a gene.
"They have chosen the best time! Soldier! Go inform the commanders to prepare their ships. We have siege weapons on the ships that we will use to destroy them, plus we have a new weapon ..."
Aslan turned to prepare to embark on his ship and face the Greyjoys when suddenly another messenger came running.
"Lord! An army is coming towards our walls!"
"Shit!"
Aslan clenched his fist. One person could harness all of that strength at the same time, Tywin Lannister.
"Hehe, it looks like he wants to stop me at all costs. So let's play."
Aslan trusted his ramparts, Lannisport was a side that could hold a seat at least
years old, she had vast food reserves and behind them lay the sea.
Aslan knew that to save the current situation he had to destroy the Greyjoys before.
Aslan sent several soldiers to deliver messages.
These orders were to protect the ramparts until Aslan crushed the Greyjoy fleet.
To avoid betrayal, Aslan only instructed his trusted men to protect the ramparts. On the other side, he went to his ships to embark.
Over the past year, Lannisport carpenters have manufactured 400 ships, 100 galleons and 300 fregates, in total Aslan has an impressive fleet of 900 ships, made up of 230 galleons and 670 fregates.
On an aggressive-looking galleon, Aslan stood on the upper deck next to the rudder. At the top of the mainmast stood a man holding a red flag. Aslan looked at him and lowered his hand, making a sign. The man at the top of the galleon began to wave the flag in all directions in response.
Seeing the flag-waving, the fleet began to move. In front stood the galleons and behind the frigates. The ships were heading towards Grayjoy ships in an organized formation but allowing free movement.
Aslan was standing on the first ship and when his ship was 170 feet from the Greyjoy ships in front of him, Aslan looked at the men on the upper deck and shouted.
"Men!"
The men have learned the commands rush to prepare the weapons. The ballistae were armed and the catapults were loaded with cannonballs containing wildfire.
Aslan watched the distance approach and when they were 100 feet away, Aslan cried out.
"Ballistae! Fire!"
Steel arrows measuring 1.8 meters flew towards the Greyjoy ships. The Greyjoys saw arrows, not steel spears, flew away in their direction were amazed. They have never heard of such a weapon.
Ballista arrows pierced Greyjoy ships like butter. The ships ahead were quickly submerged by water, but the affected ships behind blocked the advance of their comrades behind them.
Aslan looked at them coldly and ordered.
"Wildfire! Fire!"
The catapults launched fragile iron balls which, when they encountered the ships, exploded on contact, bursting pieces of iron and spreading fire.
The Greyjoy ships watching their comrades burn down alive and be destroyed like ants were panicked. The Greyjoy fleet divided into several groups seeking to move away from these demonic ships.
Aslan smiles seeing his plan work.
The bolts of the triggerfish were used to surprise the enemies at first delaying their reaction and the second effect was to interfere with the navigation of their ships by damaging their ships. At that time, their gait was going to decrease and the wildfire was going to nail the last nail of their coffin.
Aslan divided his fleet into two parts gradually destroying the Greyjoys. However, it was not without losses. For 20 ships Greyjoy destroyed Aslan lost 2 ships.
While their fleet was massacring the Greyjoys with their weapons, a small group caught their attention. Farther ahead, a group of 10 Greyjoy ships was heading at full speed towards its galleon surrounded by 4 frigates. Aslan simply smiled and thought.
"It's time to try this weapon in this world."
Aslan pushed aside the frigates and positioned himself on the side with his galleon to face the group of Greyjoy ships.
On the deck of the Greyjoy ship, a very tall man with white-speckled black hair carrying a large ax stood. Seeing the imposing ship far ahead of them get rid of his escort and show them his side, the man felt humiliated.
The man steered his ships straight on this ship because he knew from her speed that it was the flagship containing the leader, Aslan Lannister, the man who has constantly repelled the Greyjoys in recent years.
The man was Victarion Greyjoy, the second younger brother of Lord Balon Greyjoy.
Victarion was the Lord Commander of the Iron Fleet and he had his pride. Seeing his enemy taunt him he felt humiliated but he was not stupid.
"Tell the ships to space out a bit, I don't want their weapons to hit us all at once."
On the golden galleon, Aslan smiles seeing this movement.
"There is someone on this ship who is not stupid, unfortunately, this weapon is much more ... advanced."
Aslan watched the ships sink on them with the intention of spurring and tackling them, yet Aslan was still leisurely and asked.
"Are our men ready?"
"Yes, commander. Everyone loaded the steel ball and prepared ... gunpowder."
Aslan nodded and prepared to fire. It will be the first use of gunpowder in this world, it will be written in history.
The Greyjoy ships approached the galleon at full speed while maintaining space between them. When they were 330 feet from the galleon, Aslan cried out.
"Get the cannons out!"
The men of the ship opened the wooden windows and took out the cannons. Black holes appeared on the 4 decks of the galleon.
"Set the guns to a height of 60 degrees and light the wicks!"
The men quickly fired the cannon wicks and watched the wicks burn quickly.
Victarion who was on his ship suddenly saw black holes appear on the ship in front of him and felt uncomfortable invading him.
"Turn! Keep right at full speed!"
Under the cries of Victarion, his ship started to turn but it was too late.
* * BOOOM
A noise that resounded throughout the battlefield was heard. The fighting stopped for a moment because of this unknown noise.
When the men turned to see the source of the noise they saw a large golden galleon surrounded by white smoke. Finally further on they saw Greyjoy ship sink very quickly, these ships had huge holes into which the water entered.
The Ironborn was amazed.
"How did they sink? Our flagship is sunk, the chief is dead ?!"
Aslan was satisfied with the cannons but they were not perfect.
"My lord, 5 of the 36 guns exploded killing 14 sailors. What should we do?"
"... On our return bury them with the soldiers and give their families a gold supplement."
"Well."
Aslan had created a kind of compensation if men died in war. For each family whose husband, brother or son died, Asla instructed them to compensate them with 5 gold dragons. For these sailors who died from the explosion of the cannon, their families will receive 7 gold dragons.
Gold dragons may not seem like much, but 5 gold dragons can change lives. For this reason, the dead soldiers do not have to worry if they die in the war, their families will be taken care of. Because of this policy, Aslan was worshiped by ordinary soldiers and his army was very loyal but King's Landing taught him to be careful.
In front of Lannisport, Aslan's ships finished off the survivors of the Greyjoys, with the setting sun it was very hard for the soldiers.
Aslan, who was on his ship, accompanied his men. He did not leave them after the end of the battle because a lord must be mounted close to his subjects otherwise they will think that they are only pawns for their lord.
