As they heard that Jason woke up, the pilots asked for the party that had been held back for a few days to finally start.

Now, all that was left to do was creating a unique software to give birth to the self-evolving Artificial Intelligence.

Not only was the Artificial Intelligence important to the whole Sidonia, it was also essential for Mr. Alien since he needed it to create the system needed for the perfect machine he was creating. Of course, Mr. Alien and Sasaki were gonna set up commands for it to not turn into another skynet.

At the same time, Mr. Alien worked with Yure to perfect the superhuman serum and the Guardian-Pilot System.

The serum was finally perfected after several optimizations. Now, it dealt less pain and had a 100% success rate, but it was only disclosed to the skilled pilots and smart researchers to prioritize faster development. It might be unfair to those less talented people, but resources were currently tight and strictly regulated, so only a minority of most talented people were given the serum.

For the Guardian-Pilot System, it was the biological neural interface system that Yure mentioned in the past. It consisted of two parts; one part was installed in the Guardian Knight itself, and the other part was implanted into the pilot's spine. After implantation, the pilot has an interface on the back of the neck for physical connection to the connector in the cockpit's seat. The Guardian-Pilot System created pseudo-brain lobe in the pilot's body using nanobots, allowing the brain to directly process the Guardian Knight's data received through the physical connection. The pilot's spatial awareness was also enhanced considerably.

There were five maximum implantations to it, with more gaining better enhancements, but also containing more risks.

Some of the superhuman pilots have already chosen to be implanted. Such as Nagate, Seii, Samari, etc.

And several days later, Big Star Corporation issued a meeting with the top upper echelon of Sidonia.

The content of the mission was also very simple.

It was to upgrade the energy furnaces of Sidonia into a gigantic Anti-Gauna Fusion Reactor to provide more energy efficiently without losing out. The current energy furnaces weren't enough to sufficiently provide energy to the entire Sidonia with the current rapid technological advancement.

And with the Anti-Gauna System, Sidonia would finally be capable of launching long-range energy attacks to provide battlefield assistance. At the same time, they also mentioned about the plan on installing H-Field Shield Generators around Sidonia to avoid the situation of being left defenseless against the attacks of Gaunas.

Kobayashi accepted the two plans without objecting. No one else also objected to her decision.

And so, the upgrade of Sidonia started to commence.

And with Mr. With Alien's help, she managed to complete the H-Field Generator. Now, it still consumed a large amount of energy to maintain, but it now used it more efficiently. At the same time, its versatility went from not only being defense, but also offense and support generators. It can as well defend from physical attack and not only energy attack.

As a result of its completion, it paved the way to create a superior fusion reactor than a normal fusion reactor.

Instead of electromagnetic fields, this improved version of the Higgs Particle Fusion Reactor uses H-Field to confine and compress the particles, triggering a much more concentrated and denser fusion reaction. The particles that form the H-Field lattice structure also helped catalyze the fusion reaction, making it generate particles much faster. And since it wasn't made out of electromagnetic fields, it makes it harder for problems to occur since electromagnetic fields could be disrupted.

This super-efficient design was smaller and compact as the previous Fusion Reactor, allowing for more space in the body of the Guardian Knight. This reactor would be used to build a supergiant fusion reactor in Sidonia.

For the offence or weapon, a gigantic lightsaber from Star Wars could finally be achieved.

At the same time, if the H-Field was compressed with two opposite charges of Higgs Particles inside it, a neutral charge Higgs Particles would be formed. Neutral particles were superior to the two opposite charges particles when used for weapons.

The development of the super light and extremely sturdy ceramic material called Megastructure was finally completed. If used to plate the compressed alloys, the Guardian Knight would be ridiculously hard enough to even handle the melting heat of a star.

A new cockpit was also being created with the extremely light Megastructure as the base material.

Big Star Corporation was also planning to develop carrier ships and logistic war ships based on Sasaki's idea.
