(Features Of Ghouls)

Ghouls are human-like beings, distinguished only by their taste, mentality and inner biology.

The structure of the language of the ghouls is quite distinct from that of humans, they are unable to digest normal food, only satisfying hunger with human flesh.

When digesting normal food, the ghoul will be attacked by a strong desire to vomit. If it does not vomit, its physical condition will be degraded.

The taste of a ghoul also accepts coffee and pure water. These eaters do not need to feed in the short term, it has been proven that a ghoul can last 1 or 2 months with only one corpse.

When a ghoul goes into a state of extreme hunger, it is hit by severe headaches, losing all reason. It acts on instinct, feeding off any available source of human flesh.

This state is described as "Hell"; however, some ghouls eat only for pleasure.

There are even ghouls who are able to devour more than 10 bodies in just a few days, this habit is known as "Food Compulsion".

Ghouls have high physical abilities compared to a human. They can easily penetrate a human body with their own hands. They also have unusual regenerative abilities.

Superficial blows are cured within seconds.

More severe wounds are healed in a few days, if it feeds properly.

They have resistant bodies, incapacitating blades and other objects to puncture them.

However, this does not make the ghoul invunerable, a strong enough force may be able to affect it.

Their senses are also advanced, and they can distinguish a human from a ghoul only by smell.

The age rate is similar to that of a human, allowing them to mix.

(Kakugan)

A kakugan (Bright Eye) denotes the eye of a ghoul where the pupil turns red and scleroses black.

The ghoul may enter this state of its own accord, but this state is also inserted when the ghoul becomes animated, becomes extremely hungry, or when they use their kagune.

A kakugan is an activation influence of Rc cells.

Generally, a ghoul has two kakugans and they always activate together. If a subject has only one kakugan, they are one Eye Ghoul.
