Hey, Come Back!

In a small village called Hongcun, the sunlight filtered in through the window of a small house and landed on a beautiful tan skinned girl. The girl had passed out lazily, but beautiful on the bed.

Ringg, Ringgg-- before the third ring could ring, Li Aizhe woke up and picked up the annoying gadget.

"What?" She said with an irritated expression. "Why are you calling so early?"

"Zhe, where are you? You dare to sleep while I receive your 'compliments' by the devil"? Ni Rong shrieked hysterically. "You!! Why are you still sleeping? Do you have any idea of the time? Get your butt here before I come there and kick you!"

"Mhmm.." Li Aizhe murmered half asleep. She had no clue to what she was saying herself. All she was thinking of was her unfinished dream and her beauty sleep which was ruined by her annoying best friend.

Turning over from her position on her bed, she ignored her call and was about to sleep for a couple more minutes when she remembered something important.

Today was Monday! 8:00 am! Devil..?

She quickly checked the time on the clock, and with a loud thump, she fell off the bed with her blanket falling on top of her body.

"Oh no! I am late! I need to hurry up". She stood up groaning and dashed towards the bathroom. She took a quick shower, brushed her teeth, and with her towel wrapped around her tightly, she ran out of the bathroom towards her closet.

Opening her closet, she took out a blue high waisted jeans with a white t- shirt. She wore them and put on her white sport shoes. She light make-up since she had a natural skin and Hongcai village was really hot during summer times. Lastly, to top it off, she put her hair in a high pony tail and left the room running.

She quickly reached downstairs and was about to sneakily get out of the house when a voice which was old but powerful called her name out loud.

"Li Aizhe?" She stopped on her tracks and turned around. She looked towards the source of the voice and she found him on the living room while looking out of the window.

Sitting on his rocking chair, was her savior in this life, her only source of happiness. Her grandfather, Li Huaze. "Grandfather!"

With a bright smile plastered on her face, she ran towards her grandfather and hugged him tightly while kissing him on the cheeks numerous times. She was putting on her best puppy look eyes and pouty lips which always worked on her grandfather. Her brown eyes shined and glimmered with pure happiness.

With her little action, her grandfathers heart softned a little and his anger subsided. He patted her long soft lock, and sighed. -- "stop with that look!". " Where were you last night, Xiao Zhe?" He asked her seriously.

"You know, I can't be here for you all the time..look at kids your age..you can't just wander around freely.."

He looked at her worriedly with his tired and worn out face. His eyes were closing due to tiredness and his brows were furrowing. He couldn't even finish a sentence without coughing.

"Ayy, grandad, look at you! turning from handsome little man to a sick old dude! Do you want to leave me so bad?" Aizhe chuckled while draping the shawl that dropped on the floor to his whole body. She stood up and kissed her grandaddy's cheeks.

"Last night was special! It was the same night I came into this house..I had to pay visit.." She ignored her granddad's gaze.

Li Aizhe knew he was going to question her for a long while so she expertly dodged the question by saying -- "Oh no, grandfather, I would love to talk with you the whole day, but I have to run right now or else your dear Xiao Zhe will be kicked out of her 3rd job and we would not want that, so.." she quickly ran away from there before her grandfather's long train of questions will start.

"Hey, come back! I am not done yet...this child!" Li Huaze sighed out loud as he looked at her retreating figure running towards the door. Soon her shadow also disappeared with her from the main door.

"I will also want to talk with you for a while longer.."

I really would want.." He took out the tissue that was hidden in his chair. Sighing outloud for the nth time, he chucked it away in the near trash can.

Li Huaze had never asked for anything or never complained about this life. He was sufficient with whatever he got..but at this moment he really wished someone could put some senses in this girl.
