Ah Corporation, {Meeting Room}
While sitting on his enormous chair, Ah Si looked at all of them with his blank look . The people nervously held their breath and they were few who were on the verge of crying. All of them wanted to escape this cold and deathly room.
His eyes were so dark that he looked like he would snap anytime and all of them would be done for.
The room was so cold and frightening that some of the people tried to wonder if the heater was on or not.
Despite the frightening and blatant displeasure on his face, the female employees were swooning over his handsome and perfectly structured face.
"President Ah, what do you thi--" the male presenters sentence was cut off by Ah Si.
"The meeting is dismissed." Without another word being said, he stood up and left the room with his full glory and deathly aura.
They kept their bow even when Ah Si had walked out of the room. None of them dared to move or make any noise. You could hear the ticking of the clock on the wall.
When they knew he was completely gone, they finally blew out a sigh of relief and many of them started to cry remembering the look of disappointment on their Bosses face.
They didn't know their presentation was that bad. They had checked over it several times, but they should have known that their boss was a perfectionist and doesn't like when a single detail is missing. The female presenters were now two seconds away from crying.
"We are screwed." hearing one of the employee say that, the rest of them started to agree along.
---
It was 6 in the evening and Li Aizhe and Ni Rong were just done with their shift. It was summer and they had to work shifts to earn some money for their school fees.
Li Aizhe's grandfather has a restaurant but he is really weak now and had no strength left. The staff and manager of the restaurant takes care of it while he makes decisions from home.
Li Aizhe was concerned for her grandfather's condition so she decided to work every day including the weekends to earn money. Many of the times it would result her to coming late at night but that didn't stop her at all. She wanted to make her grandfather proud and didn't want him to feel any type of embarrassment or have any complaint with his life.
"Li Aizhe?" Ni Rong called out."Lets go to the Ice- cream parlour over there." Li Aizhe nodded and went to get two ice-creams. She paid the bill and left to go to the other side of the road to give one to her best friend.
"Zhezhe, Han Yan is waiting for me in a restaurant..Ni Rong started, "I am so sorry, but I have to go now.." Li Aizhe cut her sentence.
"RongRong, it is okay, you can go, my house is just couple of blocks away from here." Li Aizhe assured her.
"Are you sure ZheZhe?" Ni Rong asked her, afraid to leave her alone. "Yes, RongRong, you can go! Dont make my brother-in-law wait anymore longer, ok?" Li Aizhe assured her once more while pushing her forward to make her leave. She also turned around and started to walk towards her way.
She was humming happily while thinking of her grandfather this morning. His face was so angry when she left him all alone there. She was happy knowing that she had such a caring and amazing grandfather.
Her mother and father passed away when she was only 5 years old due to an accident and she didn't have anyone besides her parents. That was when he took her in and gave her everything she desired for. When there was a school activities, her friends parents would come - she didn't have anyone to go with. She would cry and go to her grandfather, and he would hug her and tell her that she is special and she doesn't need anyone else when he is there for her.
For the past 18 years, he took care of her like his own daughter and she had no one else beside him whom she can call her own family. If anything happens to him, she don't know what she would do. She will break apart.
She knew that he was always worried about her and he forced her to stay at home so that he can work instead and that is the least she wanted.
Reaching her alley, she noticed something strange. There were a lot of murmuring and panicked voices. Lots of people were gathered around in a corner and they were all petrified.
Upon coming closer, she noticed that the people were gathered infront of her doorsteps. She suddenly felt alarmed and worried. She went closer and saw that the people stopped whispering when they saw her.
"Hello? what happened?" She asked with a frenzy and fearful voice. She was worried, but she didn't know why.
An old lady came forward and asked her if she was Li Huaze's granddaughter. She nodded and the old lady took her hands in her own and told her everything.
