On the other side, in the empty wide hallway, a long wide door opened and from it came hurried footsteps of many elder and professional doctors. The hallway smelled of medicine and antiseptics. The heavy eyes of Ah Si shifted from the cold floor to the stretcher.
They pushed the stretcher which carried Aizhe's limp and unconscious body. Her face was pale and on her body were several tubes attached. Up closer, her injuries were even more terrifying. Her entire body showed no sign of vitality at all as if life had been sucked away from her. Her hip and leg area were hidden as a huge cloth were covering that area.
Ah Si noticed her appearance and he slumped even more down on his seat. His grip tightened and he looked away-- he couldn't stare at her face. He felt too guilty. He wiped his face roughly and cleared his tone. He stood up and the nurses immediately rushed the stretcher to the ward room. Her body left the room and he finally took a sigh of relief. He went up to the old doctor and quired.
The doctor came closer to Ah Si and when he noticed his dishevelled and messy state, he paused on his steps and sighed inwardly.
Why was it the prominent figure Ah Si out of all people? He thought.
He trembled slightly when he saw the blood in his hand and the iciness in his cold and murderous bloodshot eyes.
Ah Si was the founder of many hospitals in A City. He had many rights when it came to the underground businesses and to be truthful he didn't have to own to get rid of any places. If he wished to, he could kick anyone he preferred. The nurses and the doctors were all alterted of his profound and long running history family background and they provided and treated Aizhe with more care and attentiveness.
"Mr. Ah, the patient is running low on blood. Our hospital currently has not enough blood supply. We have ordered some from the nearby hospitals but it will take sometimes to arrange for them."
"How can you run out of blood?" Ah Si asked as his gaze darkened. Looking into his eyes, the already trembling doctor's slightly swayed and he looked down in a bowing manner.
Mr.Ah, we deeply apologize for our huge mistake. The patient is out of danger, but right now we will need the blood as her body is not functioning well due to the immense blood loss. She might slip and hypovolemic shock might occur in her body. We are even more afraid her organs might stop functioning."
Ah Si sheard him and his distant eyes showed sign of helplessness in them. He turned away and held on to the wall as his steps swayed. The bodyguard came forward as they tried to help, but Ah Si used his other and raised it to the air and they all looked down and took a couple of steps back.
He then calmed down and asked calmly. "What is her blood type?"
"Mr. Ah, she has blood-type B." Hearing the doctor, Ah Si's wandering gaze froze and he turned around almost immediately as he held on to the doctors arm.
"Take mine. I am blood-type B. I can give her as much as you want, but you need to save her!" The doctor looked at his pale face and looked up with a shock eyes.
All he wanted was for her to be safe. That was all that mattered. If they managed to lose her, then all of them will be burned alive. Thinking of the possibility, the doctor slightly shivered and replied awkwardly.
"Okay Mr. Ah, please calm down. We will take you to the room and you will have to first eat something as you will feel a bit light headed after the procedure."
"Okay, I will eat. Take me fast." Ah Si looked around for the nurses and when he noticed one, he immediately left the hallway in a hurried manner.
When Ah Si left the room, the doctor sighed in relief. Lifting his lowered head, he stared at the disappearing form of Ah Si.
He had heard that the Little Master was really really notorious and was never seen with any lady. Who was this girl?
